First time I do not have to file an extension. Tax hive save me $ on tax preparation fees and had a relatively good response to my inquiries considering ti.e of year.

Jeff, from tax strategy, was incredible. He went above and beyond to ensure I had exactly what I needed. I could not recommend Tax Hive enough. He has been amazing.

If it’s Tax Hive’s goal to make their customers feel unimportant, insignificant, un-heard, shut up take a number and wait in queue … then they’ve wildly succeeded with me!

I hired Tax Hive to prepare my 2025 tax return, and I was upsold on a “customized” tax plan after being assured repeatedly that everything would be completed by April 15th. The joke was on me.

Despite uploading all my documents promptly the very day I hired them on March 23rd, and attending several scheduled calls, I received little communication as the tax deadline approached, came, and passed. Customer service was slow to respond and I never had a consistent contact person. Throughout the process I received no guidance or instruction whatsoever, just a repeated “wait your turn”.

On April 15, after hearing nothing, I called and learned they had filed an extension on my behalf that had been REJECTED by the IRS … and they did not file for an extension for my state tax return. Further, they informed me that my tax return prep was “complimentary” as part of my tax planning package. This was news to me, as I’d specifically retained their services to prepare and file my 2025 tax return! (I had been up-sold the tax plan, for $850 more). I hung up feeling unsure of my status, of what I should pay while my return was completed, or of when--if ever--my tax return would be filed. I am STILL in limbo.

They did deliver a “tax plan”. It was generic, incomplete, and it totally ignored my stated goals! Their main recommendation—a 1031 exchange—was something I had clearly stated I did not want, as I am seeking an exit strategy from being a long-time landlord.

Additionally, the various partners they referred me to, like API Law, used aggressive sales tactics that felt icky and lacked transparency.

Between the missed deadline, lack of communication, their seeming contempt towards me, and a generic tax plan that was misaligned with my goals, my experience with Tax Hive was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend them even to my worst enemy.

Very bad experience. It seems like it’s a company that is focused on marketing and they have nice people picking up the calls but you will never be able to connect with an actual CPA, you will get standard tax plan that you can easily find by a Google search and they will waste your time when filing you end up filing taxes late. They don’t seem to be able to handle the number of clients they have on time but they still want to get more clients. It was bad experience, I will never use them again.

They're getting it done for people who are still learning how to keep their books in order.

Jeff was very knowledgeable & helpful in underatanding things that were not common knowledge. I really appreciated his help. Maybe the only critisism would be the 'party' like sounda in the background. They were diatravting pretty much the whole call. Made me antsy to be done.

So far everyone I have spoken with has been wonderful. You can tell that this company operates with integrity and is committed to helping and supporting business owners. They love what they do. I am super excited to dive in, learn and receive the much-needed support and guidance to thrive in my businesses.

I’ve had a wonderful experience working with Kimberly Newark at Tax Hive. She is professional, thorough, and really takes the time to listen and understand your situation. She put together a thoughtful tax strategy plan for me and presented several options for both tax savings and future growth.

Stone the tax planner was very helpful and he helped me see strategies that were missing in my previous tax structure and answered all my questions. This company has a lot of different departments but they seem to work in an organized efficient fashion
