Be very careful of this company for your training. They don’t have good customer service or propper morals. I did not complete my certificate due to experiencing financial hardship. I requested to cancel the course within only a couple week of commencement, before completion. I supplied this company with a medical certificate from my dr stating what I was experiencing. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. They told me my medical certificate wasn’t sufficient enough as it didn’t state how it was directly effecting my ability to study. I MEAN COME ON pretty bloody self explanatory. Asking a dv victim to further explain is just disgusting and disgraceful on alllllll ends. My complaint will be escalated to AFCA AND THE OAIC Ombudsman.

Was pleased that I could get help on the phone with a live person. They were very patient and talked me through the issues I am having with the task. They explained my mistakes and how to correct them. This increased my understanding and learning of the skills.

Experience
Had a terrible experience with the career academy- was hassled by them to sign up for a course which I eventually did and was given a package that included free course bundle value . I signed up and when I enquired about the course bundle was told it did not come with my course. So I asked what I could get instead and never received any reply despite sending email a couple times. They falsely advertised to get me to sign up.
I have since received a call from the provider and have received a satisfactory resolution - I appreciate the call and the apologies I received thank you for taking the time to reach out and fix this situation I truly feel heard and that call has changed my final experience

Great content - Streamlining the Users experience may be useful
The topics and learning is excellent. I was starting to doubt if I was going to learn more about the back end of accounting for admin, but I certainly did!
Reviewing the structure of the course for users may be of benefit. I did find navigating the course confusing at times. I ended up ahead & missing some topics that I had to go back to. I feel the navigation could be made cleaner. Maybe unlocking each step as you complete the one prior?

Marking of assignments exceptional!
The marking of my assignments was done exceptionally well. It was a highlight receiving feedback and it was done thoroughly and to a very high standard by Dana L
The only lowlight which I think let the course down was the lack of contact throughout the course time just to check in and see how I was going I didn't receive any follow up. It would've been great to receive that as I had been struggling to stay on track, but thankfully just through sheer determination I completed the Diploma in Psychology and Counselling! 🙌
