Excellent format at Bonhams the Market. Real advantage with prospects able to view cars in the concierge service. Photography was exceptional and the 'narrative' comprehensive. 'Client Service' was really good, although the popularity of the auction house meant occasional losses in communication. But I'd certainly recommend BTM to owners of interesting or specialised vehicles.

They put up a Bentley Arnage LeMans for auction. They state that they have not tried to start the car and therefore don't know if it is functional.
Fact is that in their posted picture no. 14 the rev counter shows idling RPM and the dash lights are lit.
What are they hiding? How can you trust this company?

I could not rate the experience I have had with The Market at Bonhams more highly. Excellent service throughout from beginning to end. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of selling in the future.

Making the company aware that there is no cat on the 928GTS, they first argued about my public comment.
Then they threatened me to discard me as a potential customer.
After I cancelled my account on my own, they promised to really cancel it, which - as evidenced by posting this comment - did not happen.
Finally TheMarket updated the 928GTS's description with a lame remark that there might be no cat (at least something...).
Is this auction house serious? And all this under the umbrella of Bonhams?

The auction process was very smooth. We agreed a valuation and a reasonable reserve which was exceeded on the first day of the auction! The staff at Milton Park were very attentive and communications were excellent. The photos really showed my car off to its best and The Market included all the info I had supplied them with. The car eventually sold for way above the top estimate and the payment arrangements and transfer of documents were very easy. I am very grateful to The Market and would definitely recommend them to any prospective sellers.

Usual great service for a smooth and professional sale

I phoned mark and made appointment to have a look a car, after travelling for 3 hours, I met mark who linked me with Paul , what a lovely bloke I had 2 lady friends with me, Paul spent at least 1 hour with us, showed us all the cars, with his honest feed back, and his enormous knol of the cars, great people, thank you

The site, which had processed my bids throughout the auction, suddenly stopped accepting my bids 2 hours before auction closed,despite me contacting them by fone before auction ended. I lost the car which l had been to see. Waste of everyone's time.
Months later they emailed me congratulating me for buying through them
I haven't managed to buy anything thru them. Waste of time.
