I visited the Running Outlet today with an appointment for a gait analysis. I was greeted by Amy who asked me about my running experience, what type of runner I was. She spent considerable time analysing my running gait and explained, using the video, what kind of shoe might be best. After trying about 5 pairs of shoes I settled on one pair and tried them again, on the treadmill to confirm my choice. Her advice was invaluable, her knowledge considerable and her patience impressive. Considering I am a 73 year old, with a size and a half difference in feet, some ankle degeneration and a heart pacemaker, returning (hopefully) to running after a 10 year gap ...to have provided me with suitable trainers, is little short of remarkable. Well done Amy, I will continue to sing your praises!

Purchased some new running shoes recently unfortunately they are too small so sent back for a refund. I was literally unable to get my feet inside the shoes given how tight they were.

They have claimed I've worn them outside and refused to refund despite me explicitly saying I have not worn.

Absolute scam of company and total time wasters just go a read the multiple one star trust pilot reviews before buying anything from them!

Bought Saucony endorphin trainers and ran a couple of times the sole was breaking off. Contacted company wanted me to send them back for refund but this would effect my training so had to keep hold of the faulty trainers for £200 the trainers should be falling to bits!

I sent back a pair of Adidas Boston 12 as inner sole was damaged, witch I found out on a first run.
Damage is not visible and they refuse to refund it.

They clamed because of carbon rods intendent to enhance stride length and support speed work is the reason for foot sole pain. Not my firs pair with carbon rods and I never experienced any pain because of the rods.

they clamed is not according to T&C witch is not true and suggest to sell them on eBay or Vinted

not a company I would trust to bay a per of any type of shoes!

It’s a scam! AVOID at any cost!! Returned trainers and provided evidence but was accused it was fake and now they are being investigated by a Trading Standard Agency!! AVOID!!

On 4th October I placed an order (running trainers) with a Running outlet). The size didn’t fit my husband and I returned the trainers. On 14th October I received an email from the Running outlet confirming that they’ve received the trainers back and proceeded with the refund. Copy of email attached. Refund received.

On 7th October I placed another order with a running outlet - the same running trainers but different sizes. Unfortunately trainers still didn’t fit so were sent back. On 21st October Running outlet confirmed that the return was received - photo of email attached. Refund was never issued.

Unfortunately, I only received a refund for one order from the Running outlet.

Since October i have been dealing with Klarna who paused all payments and still invastigate the case. I also made a complaint to the Training Standard Agency who advised to get in touch with them directly and if the case is not resoved within 14 days they will start an investigation. All evidence was uploaded via klarna. Unfortunately i was accused by their customers service to temper with the evidence!

Absolutely fantastic customer service. I ordered some running shoes, I then realised I had ordered the wrong ones (I need a wide fit), I called and a very helpful lady guided me to the correct shoes, and happily changed my order, they still arrived the next day. I have now had a run and couldn't be happier. Thank you so much.

Visited today and it was the best experience I've had buying running trainers. I explained I'm a long distance runner, what issues I've had with blisters, pains etc. I then had a gait analysis which was recorded and the type of trainer I needed was explained. 5 or 6 different trainers were offered and I was able to try each on the treadmill and again it was filmed to show how it improved my performance. Great range of options and ended up with a brilliant pair of trainers. Looking forward to trying them out soon

I visited the store in Nov 23 during a mini break to Canterbury. Popped in and explained I’m not a runner but recently retired and intending to increase walking for fitness and would like the right shoes for my gait. The very helpful owner did a gait assessment on the treadmill whilst I tried several styles of shoes. I chose the Hoka Gaviota 5. They were posted to my home address to arrive the day after I got home.
Service was superb and shoes are fantastic. Highly recommend the Running Outlet at Canterbury.

Am always anxious using a site I’ve never heard of but based on the reviews and the excellent price in comparison to other more well known sites, I bought some running trainers in a colour that was hard to find. They arrived within 48 hours and were exactly what I expected. Really pleased with the company. The price was the lowest I could find on the internet for the limited edition trainers. Delivery was really quick and I was provided with a tracking number. I would definitely recommend without hesitation

Found the shoes I wanted online but called the shop before I purchased. Spoke to a really helpful member of the team who actually advised me to get a different pair based on the type of running I was going to be doing. Shoes arrived quicker than expected and the service was great. Would definitely shop here again!

Ordered after the deadline and asked for next day delivery, expecting it to be delivered one day later. It arrived the following day (i. e. less than 24h later). Very smooth process. Now in the list of my favourite running gear shops...

Really good running shops are hard to come by, this is a fantastic little family-run business. I emailed before I came to the shop to ensure they had the shoes I wanted, they had kept a pair for me and were totally cool about me getting a different size. Very helpful and very knowledgeable staff.

I booked a gait analysis appointment online. The website was easy to use with clear instructions and a fast follow-up email.
When I arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. I was made to feel comfortable, which is especially important as I am a completely novice runner.
The analysis itself was unhurried with plenty of time to try a wide selection of appropriate footwear. I think I tried 5 or 6 different brands to find a good fit. No one particular company was highlighted, the choice was mine.
As a beginner I cannot rate this company highly enough. I put in my first miles this afternoon and the footwear was ideal.

I wasn’t informed that I would have to pay an additional £40 in Swedish VAT when I ordered my shoes. Don’t buy from UK after Brexit, because it will be so much more expensive, and take a long time for delivery!

Ordered a pair of New balance shoes. Unfortunately they didn't fit. They provide a free returns label once requested from the website. The refund was processed within a day.

Really good company. Great prices. Speedy delivery. No hassle returns and refunds. Recommended!
