This company needs to be shut down. Complete over priced scammers advertising as cotton when the worst poly you could come across. $300 a set they have made for $10

Absolutely horrible!! Ordered king bedding flat sheet. Got one of each pillow cases and had to buy more due to them not matching. Absolutely horrible cheap quality!!! Does not match the luxurious feel and price point as viewed on website

Again! This company doesn't deserve even 1 star. I have send many emails trying to chase up my purchase that I not yet received. I wish I have of done more research on the company before buying from it. The website states that it has a 5 start trust pilot rating!!!! What a lie!!! Absolute fraud!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

The Dakota bed set is cute! The quality is a bit meh but definitely a great design. My daughter loved it

I spent nearly $500 on towels that took weeks to arrive. When they finally did, the quality was extremely disappointing. Several items were frayed and damaged, and the towel sets didn’t even match in colour.

Dealing with customer service was a long and frustrating process. Despite the towels being faulty, I was repeatedly offered store credit instead of a refund. After weeks of back and forth, and almost two months after placing my order, I eventually received a refund.

However, I was still required to pay around $40 to return the faulty items, and that cost was never reimbursed.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. I won’t be ordering from Simple Society again, and based on my experience, I would advise others to shop elsewhere.

Terrible quality and really frustrated that they don't offer refunds only store credit and exchanges. The pictures varied significantly from the product delivery and the quality is beyond poor.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Ordered a doona cover in November last year, it took 7 weeks to arrive. Quality was threadbare and the colour / design was completely different to what was advertised. They obviously said that everyone in their “office” said the product was the same & would only offer store credit. I assume the products are that terrible that if they offered unhappy customers refunds they would shutdown overnight. I reluctantly bought a sheet set with the store credit, waited 7 weeks only to be told it had been lost after hounding them for an answer for weeks. They sent a 2nd sheet only for that to also be lost. They finally agreed to refund the order. I ordered the sheets 3 months ago and am currently waiting for a refund which has taken them 3 weeks to process. I’m honestly sceptical I’ll even get the refund! They claim to be an Adelaide company but everything comes from China.

Doesnt deserve 1 star - i have emailed several times with no response so I have NO empathy for this feedback- it is such poor quality, wrong sizing, I ordered a king

Never, EVER, buy from this company!! Terrible quality $225.00 quilt cover set, waited 5 weeks for it to arrive and could get no reply to repeated emails. I returned it and OMG, what a HASSLE to get it exchanged. Refunds not possible, apparently. I wrote at least 25 emails - the only way to contact them. Awful experience. They say they are an Australian company, but the courier is international. Shop anywhere but here.

I have already lodged a complaint to the ACCC and will be raising this with my bank if a refund is not provided to me.

Do not buy from this business disguised as an Australian company. The South Australian brand is based in AU but drop ships all of their products and items from China.
Apart from the excessive wait times for delivery, the products aren’t accurately described.

I ordered the Dakota Bedding Set, the Sola, and the Tate sheets and these were delivered a full 40 days later… their website indicates shipping is 7-21 days. Upon delivery, the packaging came sliced open, in cheap, plastic with Chinese factory characters, and the Sola and Tate sheets were different colours than what was photographed on their website. The Sola (in shade sky) sheets are a dark blue-grey in person but the website shows a light, pastel blue that appropriately reflects the name of the shade, Sky.
The Tate sheet (shade Beige) was actually yellow in person…

The Tate sheets are horrific feeling, and after translating the Chinese tag, I discovered that they were 100% Polyester when the website states they are a polyester BLEND. This is not a blend of course, but plainly polyester that feels horrible to touch.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the 40 days wait for delivery, the misleading product information regarding composition and quality and the vast difference in the colour advertised on the website compared to what was received.

The company is only allowing a store credit after not addressing all of my concerns and simply saying that they are “sorry the items were not as you expected”, and “our team has confirmed that the items match the product descriptions and photos on our website”.
I will not be accepting a store credit to only have to wait another 40 days for some cheaply made and misleading products.

Considering that the company cleverly hides reviews on their website, only showing those with 4 stars or more, and not being transparent by allowing public reviews on their direct platform, you would not be surprised that they have all these negative complaints.

I have lodged a report to the ACCC and will be raising this with my bank.

Hopefully this prevents others from ever ordering from here again.

I ordered a Doona Cover set for someone’s birthday over a month ago and it still has not arrived although I’ve had a few emails saying that it was ‘almost on its way’ then ‘on its way’ but the tracking did not work.
I finally received an acknowledgment that ‘the head office’ was in Adelaybut that the item is coming from China.
If I’d only known this I would have bought at a local store and had my gift for the persons birthday.

Order took 2 months to arrive, after having sent multiple emails querying its whereabouts. Upon arrival, the Maisie Bedding Set in Cherry was extremely poor quality, with terrible stitching, loose threads all over it and very poor print quality. The item had clearly been cheaply made in China with no quality control.

I didn’t even want to give a single star. Awful customer service. Needing was terrible quality, colouring was sketching and packaging was cheap - just taped in a plastic bag. Was refused a refund and had to ship product back at my own expense. They refused to acknowledge receipt of my goods and I had to go back to the post office to prove they’d been sent. On ordering the second set, it’s been 2 weeks and they haven’t even been dispatched. 1st order was 3 weeks late too. On top of that, terrible customer service. It’s a con. I’ll be speaking with the ACCC to see how I can get a refund.

If I could give 0, I would. I ordered 2 pillowcases on the 8th of March and still have not received them. I tried to cancel the order at week 5, to be then told that it was with the courier. It’s apparently now been with the courier for 3 weeks, yet I have not received any tracking information. I have requested the contact information for the courier several times, and was blown off each time. I thought I was ordering from a small business in Adelaide but they are obviously a drop shipper. I have reported this fraud to my bank and am hopeful of having the transaction reversed. I will also be flagging this organisation to the ACCC.

I realised quickly that this was a scamming company when I recieved no type of communication. I then tried to cancel the order. A day later they shipped it (this was after like 2 weeks). They sent me the WRONG size for bedding and only allow store credit if you return it first. I am asking for a full refund and for that to happen before the item gets given back. DO NOT waste your time or Money.

the lack of compliance with Australian Consumer Laws is shocking, I was assured that I would receive a refund due to me contacting within the 24 hour mark, additionally they stated as an excuse that the order has already entered the shipping process and yet according to shop and the literal site given tracking updates its completely unfulfilled. every email ive attempted to send hasnt been responded to for days on end, despite the website assuring responses within 24-48 hours (something that has yet to happen btw) and even worse ive recieved the exact same ai copy and paste response to each request genuinely appalling

absolute scam of a company, claims to be Australian owned and is all Chinese drop shipping. It’s been 5 weeks and still no update on my order. Paying top dollar for cheap crap. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

I ordered a purple quilt cover it was blue and pink. I sent them a photo they stated it was the wrong one and they would send the correct one. They also forgot pillow cases. 2 months later when I asked where my new cover was they advised they had sent the correct one and I would not receive a replacement. Zip broke second time using it! I ordered in November and it’s nearly March and I’m still waiting on my pillowcases and having to chase them up!
