The Teacher Project has honestly given me the support and confidence to step out of my comfort zone and step into the rest of my life. Before joining, I was struggling to see where my potential could go. I’d lost sight of my love for teaching, and I wasn’t sure what opportunities were out there for me. Since joining, everything has changed. The step-by-step guides have been incredible — they make learning new skills fun and approachable. You can experiment, ask questions, and revisit the lessons as often as you need. The examples and visuals are so well thought out; they suit all types of learners and make a huge difference in understanding and applying what you learn.
The community itself is fantastic. From day one, you feel like you’ve already won just by being surrounded by people who are on the same journey. There are tough days, but the coaches and members always lift you up. My coach celebrates every success and encourages me from the sidelines — that support keeps me going.
This experience has completely changed my mindset. I’ve learned that one fall doesn’t define me. I’ve rediscovered my passion for teaching and realised that the opportunities ahead are truly endless.
I’m only at the beginning of my journey, but I’m buzzing with excitement to build a future for myself and my family. I know I can do it — and it feels amazing to finally believe that!

I have been a classroom teacher for 20 years, and the workload/expectations have continued to increase year to year. The pay has not increased --- and it will not. It has become financially unsustainable to stay in the classroom without a significant side hustle.

I have loved the learning modules, and the support from the program from the start. The coaching, with Coach Matt has been phenomenal! He is available to problem solve and is a great cheer leader!

The program is awesome --- the modules are self-paced, and come with great supporting documents. When I ran into trouble setting up my FB profile, Coach Matt had be immediately connected to Mon in tech support and I was on my way within 25 minutes or a meeting with Mon.

I entered with very little business experience/knowledge and already feel like I am capable of setting up my own tutoring business, which is a HUGE win for me!

What I’ve appreciated most about working with The Teacher Project over the last 2+ years is the excellent coaching and genuine support they provide. They are incredibly responsive and always willing to work with us—not just when things are going smoothly, but also through the rough times. Before I started working within the teachers project I wasn’t getting any success within tutoring as I was struggling to get students. I did not know how to market my tutoring service online so I was very limited. I came across the teachers project and had a lot of doubts and was scared I had wasted a lot of money by investing into it. However, I am 6 weeks into the program and I am very surprised about the turnout and my doubts have completely left me.

What has helped me the most since working within the teachers project is the office hours that are available to attend everyday where I can access help from one of the coaches whenever I come across hurdles within my journey. Other things that have also helped me a lot are the structure, foundations, materials and guidance they have provided. All the materials they provide have already been tested and proven to work, allowing me to attract a large audience very easily. The structure provided has taken a lot of worry away from me as the plan and steps within my business have already been laid out. Through being taught things like automating emails and tracking ads everything becomes a lot more simplified so I have a lot more time saved to focus on scaling my business.

Being able to learn insights from the expertise of the coaches has been amazing. The best thing about being part of a community within the teachers project is you grow together and learn about other people’s wins which helps to give you hope and a drive towards success.

The wins that I have had so far are being able to launch and test ads. I have learnt many sales skills and was able to get my first student very early on in the program.

Looking into the future, I am most excited about attracting more students and starting my online lessons within the next 2 weeks despite having no previous teaching experience. I also look forward to taking more sales calls, speaking to more parents and coaching students within maths so they can reach their best potential.

The continued support from the coaches and entire community within TTP has been worth every penny. I am now my own boss. I don't have OFSTED telling me what I should be getting excited about and how I should teach every student identical lessons. I work to a schedule that suits me and don't have to beg for cover for a day off for a family funeral or work a 12-hour day with no break because of compulsory lunch duty followed by a parents' evening!

At first, I was overwhelmed by the activity of the community of tutors. However, it only took minutes of reviewing the dialogue, chats, comments and posts to realize that this is the community teachers dream of and deserve. There is not one shred of toxicity that teachers typically encounter in school. This is excellent for all students.

I joined The Teacher Project (TTP) a few weeks ago and think that it is very worthwhile the initial investment. I want to start my own tutoring business and TTP will help me achieve that.
There is no hiding behind the fact that an initial financial investment is needed in order to achieve this, however I feel I am investing in my future business by enrolling on the program and completing the classes as required.
The Skool platform allows all tutors on the program to support and communicate with each other. There are sections devoted to asking for help, celebrating wins, and offering support when things get tough. This means that there is always someone available to help or celebrate with you.
My personal coach, Hanford, is a tutoring business owner and someone who has been through the TTP, so he knows first-hand the joys and challenges it presents. His support is invaluable and always replies to messages or voice notes I leave when I have questions or need advice. It is very reassuring to know that all coaches were once clients of TPP, as they fully understand the journey from classroom teacher to business owner.
The tech support team are very experienced and being able to book an online call with Atique at a convenient time is invaluable. His expertise is priceless!
There are dedicated clinics available each week which address specific problems or challenges we may face. Again, another invaluable resource as the coaches help us through our challenges on a practical level and the other tutors facing the same challenge are there to offer moral support.
The numerous Office Hours sessions can be attended by anyone and as many times a week as desired. These are operated in the same way as a university Office Hours session would be as tutors can ask any question to the coach and they will answer it during the call. Again, a superb resource and even if you don't have a question for that specific session, there is always something to be learned from other tutors' questions.
The entire TTP team is outstanding. I have never been refused support and someone has always reached out to me to help me. This program is definitely worth the investment and there are many classes available on SOD which are there to help you start, establish and grow your tutoring business. The step-by-step program I follow is very detailed and each video lesson has a downloadable set of instructions which means it can be revisited at any time. Yes, there is a lot to learn, but that is the point; this program is teaching me how to be a business owner and help me with all that entails.
A successful business does not grow overnight; it takes hard work and dedication which is what TTP supports us to do. It arms us with the necessary skills in order to create a sustainable and successful business.
