I am happy to have enrolled with The Teacher Project. My delight begins with my coach, Ms. Katie Walker. Her love for details, smile, and patience in leading me on, has been immense.
I am learning much from “Momentum Monday” and “ Community & Connection”, thanks to her push. I am gradually overcoming my technology worries because I met Mon on a 1-on-1 coaching, thanks to her advice.
The Teacher Project is a great classroom for teacherpreneurs. Within one month, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge which is not only useful in making money but, also how to manage it.
I am convinced that haven taken the first step, I am upbeat that I will make it. Thank you for expanding my world with many new colleagues. Their interactions and views are equally inspiring and rewarding. To all the other coaches, I have met, kudos.

I'm really happy with the results of the course so far. While I technically could have done this on my own, the truth is I wouldn’t have. The structure, motivation, and accountability have made all the difference. The team handled so much of the startup process, like getting ad accounts set up, dealing with Meta, and taking care of the technical side. That let me focus on the big picture.

Zach’s coaching has been a major highlight. His support and guidance have played a huge role in my progress. One critique I have is that the pacing can be a bit intense. Some days it's hard to know exactly what I should be working on. The coaching and the video modules sometimes feel slightly out of sync, with different priorities depending on where you look.

That said, I’m very satisfied overall. I’m seeing results, I’m learning a ton, and I feel like I’m finally making real progress.

I’ve been in the program for 5 weeks now. The structure of the program is incredible and very well thought out. You have so much access to all the coaches which I think is so important. Shoutout to my personal coach Hanford who has really helped me out throughout the process. Made a couple early sales which has made everything a bit easier as I know what I’m doing is working and most importantly I have direction and know what I need to do to improve. Hoping it keeps to get better for me! Would definitely recommend for any teacher/tutor who wants to build a business of their own!

I cannot express strongly enough, how highly I recommend The Teacher Project! I wish I had started with them sooner. My coach, Hanford is so fantastic! I've had some extreme situations hit my family just after getting started with The Teacher Project and Hanford REALLY helped me to set an achievable pace and walk me through details when I couldn't think straight. The tech support team has been wonderful as well. I feel like each person at The Teacher Project is committed to my success and I hope to help my students and parents with this same level of kind, professional, and outstanding support.

I have only been in the program for a few weeks, and it has been great. The community is excellent and supportive; there is so much to learn and many resources to learn from. I love all the videos that walk you through each step to help you launch your business. My coach, Nigel, has been great and kind enough to assist me with any questions and point me in the right direction. I am so excited to continue on my journey to build a successful business, all because of this fantastic program, the Teacher Project. All you have to do is be a great person who takes action and believes that you can succeed if you put the work in and follow everything they tell you to do.

A few months ago, we were ready to say goodbye to our tutoring business of 10 years. We were putting in so much time without seeing the value come back, and it was burning us out.

Joining The Teachers Project has been an amazing experience, even as new members. It reignited our passion for teaching and reminded us how much there is to learn about growing a business.

Our coach Jessie is a ray of positivity and support. She gives the best advice in such a clear, doable way that we often say, “Why didn’t we think of that?”

The other coaches have been just as valuable, offering encouragement and practical tips that truly improve how we work.

Office hours are a highlight because we get to learn from different coaching styles and perspectives. Tutor Boss tech support is responsive and helpful. The online community is inspiring. Seeing other educators grow and hit big wins makes us believe in what’s possible. And we love supporting others too.

We did not expect all the small financial investments at first, but once students started flowing in, those costs became minor. Growth takes investment, and this has been well worth it.

This has been an incredible opportunity to learn and grow. We could not have made this kind of progress without the coaching team and platform. It is the best investment we have made for our business and future.

The Teacher Project is for teachers who want out of a traditional classroom but don't want to be done teaching. I started with TTP in March, 2024. Although I haven't left the classroom YET, I am on my way. TTP teaches you how to set up a business. This ISN'T without work. Yes, you can find all the information on your own on the internet. BUT, what is your time worth? But what you can't get by yourself are the coaches. The coaches have all lived this transformation and created their own businesses in online group tutoring. There is also a community of likeminded teachers who are (or did) going through similar trials and tribulations. TTP sets you up with a personal coach (shout out to Nigel, he's the best!), but all coaches have office hours at various times of the day to meet your schedule. There are forums to ask questions and you can also always text your coach. Once/yr, there is even a live event. This year, it was in Denver, Colorado, USA. Next year, London. This 2-3 day event was filled with so much useful information that one is able to leave the event and use right away. Forget those wasted minutes and hours in PDs at your school that wasted your time and energy, these were practical tips and ideas to build YOUR business the way you want to run it.

I can't wait to see where my business goes in the next year. I know I will be soaring and making 6 figures and eventually, 7!

Join The Teacher Project if you want control of your destiny, still want to teach but don't want someone else how you should teach. But know it isn't without work.

I’m Kevin, a teacher here in California since 2008, and what a shift this past year has been. I joined the Teacher Project back in February 2023, and seven months later got my first students — but that was just the beginning. I’m proving to myself every day that group online tutoring is absolutely possible, and my business is working.

What’s made all the difference is my coach. Matt has a way of seeing straight into the places I get stuck — places I didn’t even see myself — and giving me the feedback that matters. When he told me I was working on my business but not in it, I had a huge a-ha moment. It hit me that I didn’t have to wait until I had 20 students to build a team. I could start with 10. That changed everything.

The Denver event really unlocked something too. I saw that others were building systems, treating their tutoring not just as tutoring but as a business, as an enterprise with a crew — and they were working smarter, not harder. That was a paradigm shift for me. I’m no longer trying to fly the plane alone; I’m the person in the control tower now.

There’s something about this community — the coaches, the other tutors, everyone in the Teacher Project — that is so powerful. It makes me believe this business can grow beyond just me. I’m excited to hire teachers, expand, and multiply my efforts.

If you’re wondering what’s possible, let me just say: it’s easier than you think, and you don’t have to do it alone.

I’m still going. I’m still proving to myself that I can build this, even through slow seasons and momentum dips. One of my students just signed up for a whole year with me. That feels amazing.

So yeah — thank you, Matt, for helping me see what was right in front of me. And for anyone on the fence, trust the process. You’re closer than you think.

Having given really deliberate consideration and much research, I decided to embark on this costly programme believing it would ultimately enable me to build a useful avenue of additional income.

The positives: this really is an extremely comprehensive programme which takes you through in detail all the critical components to launching an on-line tutoring business. There is an excellent community of experts to call upon and plenty of positive and engaged participants to leverage off. My coach, Zach, was fantastic; supportive and very personable.

The negatives: This programme is extremely pricey and the price mark is way too excessive. There are also way too many hidden aspects that are not clearly highlighted at the point of signing up to the programme. Although there are UK based participants, this is 100% a USA run programme. All calls relating to Sales and Marketing are conducted in the U.S and the timings of those are more or less not compatible with people like myself who are full time teachers as the calls would clash when I was teaching or were far too late U.K time to participate in. There are recordings of the calls available. However one of my biggest constant issues was time. I was constantly being told I needed to dedicate the time to do all the necessary elements to be successful from creating and constantly improving Ads to tracking (importantly you will spend a lot of money advertising your ads on Facebook before you start to see actual income through Sales) and reaching out to prospects and make the necessary progress with the programme. Unfortunately I really struggled to combine a full time teaching job with this programme. Another extremely challenging element is the multifaceted technical component. Effectively setting up multiple challenging technical platforms and synching them all so everything is seamless and productive is no mean fest. Yes, there is really good technical support available but I really felt this aspect of the programme is a HUGE ask to manage successfully, again if you are already working as a full time teacher.

After almost 6 months, I was granted a two month extension for which I was extremely grateful, I ultimately came to the conclusion that I simply did not have the capacity to really engage with this programme and sadly, I decided to withdraw. I have never dropped out of any programme so this was a first but I really needed to consider my mental well being. I ultimately realised that I simply did not have the band width to do my teaching job and this programme simultaneously and effectively.

In conclusion, I have taken much from this experience and I may indeed return to the essence of being an online tutor when I'm less time poor. The materials I required could well be useful in the future. Anyone considering engaging with this programme must be full abreast of all its varying demands. I salute all those who have been extremely successful but I'd question if they managed to achieve this whilst working as a full-time classroom secondary school teacher too? Good luck to those who do decide to sign up for the programme as you too could be one of the success stories :-)

My experience was absolutely phenomenal. I learned a lot--from spinning on my wheels and not knowing what to do to getting the guidance and direction as I build my business. Hanford, my coach is awesome!! He was very encouraging to me throughout my business building journey. A lot of the pain points I had at the beginning have now been resolved. It is refreshing to know that there is a community support where I was able to glean from a lot of the replays to add to what I already discovered in my business journey. The ad clinics were super great because I gained a lot of insight that I didn't have before the call. Now, I have gained the advantage of knowing how to talk to my leads to get them to book in for a call whereas before I was not able to do so. The tracker helps me to see how my ad is performing and where I need to improve in order to gain more clients.

My coach, Jessie, has been amazing! She’s worked with me consistently through both text and Zoom meetings, making sure the advertisement and offer I was sending out organically to various groups was perfect. Thanks to her help, I’ve already had three students sign up for my program—and I’ve only been in business for two weeks. I can’t thank her enough for all of her support.

The last four months with The Teacher Project have been nothing short of invaluable for my growth as an educator and entrepreneur.
While I haven’t made sales yet, I can confidently say the knowledge, mindset shifts, and skills I’ve gained during this journey are priceless. The coaching, resources, and community support have given me a clear roadmap and the confidence to stay consistent.
One of the highlights for me has been seeing my name at the top of the leaderboard for the last 30 days and ranking in the Top 7 of all time within the community. It shows that with the right focus, effort, and commitment, progress is inevitable — even before the results become visible financially.
The Teacher Project isn’t just about sales — it’s about building the foundation for a sustainable education business, growing personally, and connecting with a network of like-minded, driven educators. I know the results will come — and I’m grateful to be part of a space where success is measured by learning, consistency, and showing up.

I’ve been with The Teacher Project since August 2024 and honestly, it didn’t start off smooth. As someone working full-time on the West Coast, I had a hard time making the live sessions, which were mostly scheduled for other time zones. I missed out on a lot in the beginning, and it felt frustrating. But once I spoke up and shared what I was struggling with, I felt heard and supported.

The coaches have been incredible. They’ve shown up consistently with guidance, feedback, and patience while I figured things out. I’ve learned how to run Facebook ads, build a parent community, manage a CRM, and take and close sales calls. All skills I had zero experience with before. Now I have paying students, I know how to follow up with leads, and I feel more confident running the business side of things.

What I appreciate most is that it never felt like I was just a number. The program is structured really well, the coaches genuinely care about our progress, and the whole vibe is supportive and encouraging. My one to one coaches, Kent and Zach, especially, have been key in helping me stay focused and not give up.

I’m so grateful I stuck with it. This program has taught me a lot and has helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect. If you’re an educator looking to build something of your own, this is a great place to start.

I was feeling really nervous about starting my journey as a tutor and was battling a lot of self-doubt. However, working through the first two steps of the program has given me such a boost of confidence. It helped me gain clarity on what I want to deliver and how I want to deliver it. This is where future education is going and so happy I found the teacher project and all the awesome coaches and staff who are so willing to help in all different types of situations. Just ask.

The upfront investment was a lot... but I spent half of that on ads last fall and got just about nothing out of it. And it is an investment, because if you back yourself you will easily make that money back sooner than later. Robert was great from his first message until the last minute of our last call, adding value for me and my path the entire time. The Teacher Project people in general were great! Even when things didn't go perfectly, they went out of their way to make it right and solve the problems, logistical, tech, etc.

Amazing experience so far …. Glad I came on board still a lot to learn but an amazing exciting journey so far
