Placed an order really late at night and got an email almost right away saying that the emerald earrings I chose were defective and could I wait til the new line was out. I couldnt, as it was for a birthday so he came back to me with another pair. The pair I received were absolutely perfect. I thought the colour of the stones was so clear and bright and such a gorgeous shade of green. I am delighted with the order and so is my friend who absolutely adored them.

I purchased the Chunky Cross Pendant specifically because the description included the word "chunky," as I was looking to replace a beloved, substantial cross I had recently lost.

​The length (15 mm) and width (10 mm) were exactly what I expected. However, I was severely disappointed with the thickness, which measured only 1 mm. My previous cross of the same length and width was approximately 4 mm thick, which gave it a true "chunky" and robust feel.

​The item I received is undeniably pretty and well-made, but it is thin, lightweight, and delicate, making the term "chunky" entirely misleading for a buyer seeking something substantial. This pendant is quite small and feminine, definitely not the robust piece I was expecting.

​I have decided to keep it, as it will make a lovely gift for one of my granddaughters, but I will need to continue my search for a more appropriately sized, thicker replacement for myself. I would suggest Thomas Edwards Jewellers review their product language (or fully disclose pendant dimensions) to better reflect the true nature of this piece.

As an aside, I do have to say that the communication I had with Jordan from the company was excellent as they took their time to respond to a query I had with regards to the tracking/delivery. Although the item turned up a day later than they advised, I was able to keep up to date via the Royal Mail website.
