Tom and the team are very, very good, extremely responsive and happy to answer our questions before and after the surveys.

We had two surveys done, a RICS help to buy valuation on the home we were selling and a level 3 survey on the home we were buying. We received a phone call on the day of the survey giving us a summary over the phone and just a few days later the full report. It is full of detail and provides the right level of information for us to work out what exactly we should do next. We got lots of extra photos of the home in the report and are aware of stuff we probably would never have been.

This is my second time using Tom Barnes. His team are really quick to respond, kept us up to date with progress. Sorted out arranging the survey directly with the estate agents and received the report within 3 days. Great service and will definitely use again!

Very professional and meticulous with good communication.

The website was easy to use and get a quote quickly. Upon requesting a quote, we got a desktop review of the property alongside the quote. We are based in Birmingham, first time buyers and got a Level 2 Report and Valuation. The quote was very good value, much better than the others in our local area.

The survey and report were very thorough (went into much more detail than we expected for a level 2) and was easy for us to understand and get advice based on. The full report also came back very quickly, within 3 working days.

Our only minor suggestion for improvement would be to use references in the text to make it clearer which photo it is about.

We would highly recommend Tom's services for those buying a house, we'll definitely go back in the future if we move.

I got a lot of responses to my request for quotes but few companies read my additional comments. Tom Barnes Surveyors was one of two that did. They were promote, responded to queries super fast and did the survey when they said they would. It was a comprehensive report with lots of pictures to demonstrate issues followed up with a call to highlight key points and an offer for further input if needed. I'd highly recommend them.

Amazing service! The survey was easy to request and was scheduled within a couple of weeks. After the appointment, I had a call from Tom to discuss his findings and the report came through within a couple of days.
