This is a great company with great products. I’ve been a customer many years now and only had a couple of glitches (delivery glitches). Both times they were easy to get a hold of and resolved the problem quickly. Easy subscription to manage as well. Love this company, buying local, and having one less thing to shop for. Highly recommend.

Great variety and quality
Very good quality meat. I like the variety of choices and I like that they add new items. Any time I have had a question and sent an email the team is very responsive and helpful.

Great-tasting meat with a variety of choices. Home delivery, always on time. If you need to opt out for a while, no problem. We are seniors, and there is a box for us and a time that suits us.

TruLocal is great!
I've been with TruLocal for going on 6 years now and have no plans to cancel. The convenience of delivery paired with the great selection of products makes it easy to stay. I love the sliced smoked brisket and can't find it at any other store. For anyone who doesn't have the time to go out to the grocery store or is just looking for convenience, this is a great option. I would definitely recommend TruLocal!

Have never had a bad experience so far. My most recent delivery I had to push back due to an impromptu trip and their customer team was very helpful to go in and reschedule it for me

I’ve been receiving my orders since March 2025.
Everything we have tried has been really good! We do keep our box mostly the same month over month, but we like to add something new to try each month, and we have liked everything.
I used to find it a little pricey, but still worth it, but now with the grocery store prices going up, I find it reasonably comparable, especially since I already know the quality of the products and it saves me a trip (and gas) to the grocery store.
Very convenient if you live in a smaller town like I do!

Actually Canadian & Grass Fed
One of the few places to find steaks and ground beef that's actually 100% grass fed and Canadian. Everything arrived frozen one day after I ordered it and I didn't have to sign for the package or be home to accept it.

I ordered Tenderloin
I ordered Tenderloin, which was very much overpriced, and unfortunately, it was not tenderloin.......It was a different, much cheaper cut, full of fibres and hard to chew. I think that it was stewing meat.....
I left them 9 messages plus a few emails, and nobody is answering.
I am wondering if it is a scam Company......

Please know we do respond to emails and voicemails as soon as possible, typically within 24 business hours (we don't have anyone available on weekends). It looks like you were able to connect with one of our team members after the weekend, and that she was able to help.
I did see the photo you sent of the tenderloin, and I sincerely apologize - that definitely isn't the product quality we strive for! I can confirm your feedback has been tracked and brought to the attention of our product manager, and that our team has credited your account for the disappointing steaks. I will not ever go back to grocery meat
I will never go back to grocery for meat ever again, neither will you. Not after I tried quality like this. I usually shop at Walmart but go to Sobey's or Great Cdn Super store for meat but now it is all in my truLOCAL box.
Price isn't super low but you (happily) get what you pay for.

I started ordering and my first few boxes were great, however lately by boxes have arrived with partially unthawed products! My most recent box arrived completely unthawed! The packets of dry ice were also unthawed!! I had to throw out almost everything !! Maybe it time TruLocal considers getting a different company to deliver there products! I have cancelled my subscription!!

Looking into your most recent order, it looks like there was a delay from our third-party courier that caused the dry ice to dissipate and the meat to thaw. I can see you'd reached out and our team was able to set you up with a full refund for the box - we always want to make things right when boxes don't come in frozen!
Again, I'm so sorry for your experience; if you'd ever like to give us another shot, we do have another courier that ships to your postal code, and I'd be happy to make sure your orders are shipped with a different company. Regardless, we appreciate you supporting local with us and sharing your feedback!
