Very poor and I pay for this service!!

As with Andastrology who left a review on Sunday 1 September, I have had the same issues. No response from the tickets I have raised and no opportunity for webchat. Totally unacceptable. I am considering contacting them for compensation for lost revenue if they don't respond. I still am unable to receive emails beacuse my settings have been changed without my knowledge.

Terrible customer service. No response to requests for techincial help.

I have raised three attempts to contact TSO Host for technical support. I have been unable to receive any response or help with the issue. In the past, it was dealt with immediately but no-one has responded to me and there is no option for live-chat, let alone any chance of actually speaking to someone. The incoming email server has not worked for a week which is severely impacting my business and I cannot get help. The customer service is absolutely appalling. Meanwhile, I am receving daily emails from TSO Host reminding me to pay my invoice. They are quite happy to take your money and not provide the service you are paying for.

Migration problem and no support

On 13th August Tsohost emailed me saying that they are moving to a new CPanel hosting platform but had failed to migrate my account and so they will cancel the account on 12th September.
I opened a ticket asking for information about the migration problem but this wasn't answered until 13 days later. The answer gave no further information and said that Tsohost would not give any help with migration because of their ongoing migration to the 123-reg platform.

I think all the recently appearing giving 5 stars from 1 review are fake This company has screwed over 100s of small business's . NO telephone support and clearly not the support they claim. I was locked out of my websites for a month and no access to emails. SHOCkING service

I've lost my website and emails

I've lost my website and cannot send or receive emails. I foolishly paid my 1 year renewal hosting invoice on 7th August yet my website is gone and my email is useless. I only have a starter plan but I've been a customer of TSOHost for many years and always found their support service is very responsive and helpful but now they have gone awol and I've had no response from support or their sales email. I've paid for a service I'm not receiving. Their website says they are moving to 123Reg in October but they already seem to have closed their business and are ignoring customers. AVOID!

Like many others I'm stuck with an…

Like many others I'm stuck with an issue that can't be resolved as tsoHost seem to be ignoring people. I HAVE NO WEBSITE ACCESS OR EMAIL. My website (lintonpix.com) is suspended pending ICANN verification. I don't know what they have done to my records to make this happen. The solution seems to be to update my records to show my email address, which can then be used by ICANN to verify the site. I follow TSO's system for doing this and, even though I click on their authentication email and it says it's done, there is no actual change to my records, therefore my site remains broken. I raised a ticket days ago and got no response.

Like many others on here - cannot access account

Like many others on here, we too cannot now log into our TSOHost client area. We have around 50 domains and have just moved our hosting servers to another part of the country and another Internet provider, so we need to change all IP addresses and had planned staff and work over the August bank holiday, at great cost.

There is NO TELEPHONE SUPPORT, NO EMAIL SUPPORT. You can ony raise a support ticket, but guess what YOU HAVE TO LOG IN to your account in order to do that. How utterly useless is that.

WE ARE DEAD IN THE WATER.

We have been a valuable client of TSOHost for many years and will move away then sue them for £1,000 for every day that we cannot access our account due to their gross negligence and gross incompetence. We will inform the national UK media so you can keep tabs on this ongoing story.

They have been bought by 123reg (which is in turn owned by GoDaddy) and we will go to town on them to ensure that customers know how they operate.

This busness is so important and MUST be regulated with large fines being imposed againt domain and hosting providers for just this sort of thing.

A massive failure by TSOHost.

Useless

Useless. They are being taken over by 123-Reg and have all but given up helping anyone.

I have dropped one last ticket before I consider legal action.

TSOHost is becoming a hell-hole . . . where has support gone?

I've been with this host since 2003, when it was the run by the excellent Vidahost. It seems to be turning into a hell-hole nowadays.

The problem I have is that my Let's Encrypt security certificates have expired and I need TSOHost to renew them so that my websites no longer appear as 'Unsafe'. I am probably losing customers because of this, yet I can't contact TSOHost at all.

I've left two service tickets in the last two weeks. No response whatsoever - not even an automatic acknowledgment.

The online chat is never available.

The telephone helpline closed some time ago.

So I have absolutely no way of getting in touch with them.

The email situation after the transfers last month is a mess.

What used to be an outstanding service when Vidahost were in charge has become something of a nightmare.

But, as we're all being handed over to another host in October, perhaps TSOHost just don't care anymore?

Impossible to contact this company

Hello, I have been told our domain address has expired despite having settled the invoices. It is impossible to login to the website and the online chat is only available if you login. Have sent all supporting evidence by post to the head office and still we have been advised the domain addresses have expired

Technical Support is non-existant.

Somehow, my 3 websites which were not registered with TSOHosts, but hosted there have all stopped working at exactly the same time. These are registered with 2 separate companies, so it's unlikely to be a problem caused by both of them. The domain that I did register with TSOHosts is still working.

I raised a support ticket, as the "Live Chat" they mention is not available, and 4 days later, still no reply. The main problem for me, was this problem has killed all my emails.

I have now managed to set up a new host, and point my domains to them in less time than they are taking to respond. I am now trying to migrate everything over, but not sure if I have sufficient knowledge to move things like the databases etc, so I may have lost several years worth of information.

Such a shame as I have been with them for years.

Why is there so many fake 5 star…

Why is there so many fake 5 star reviews on here. Its just so obvious to everyone. No one says Hey John Doe was so great, sorted all my issues and stayed extra hours to sort my issues. It would be very rare a review names a person who helped them but all 5 star reviews do.

This company is a disgrace causing so many people problems and cost and all those bad reviews are hidden among the fake reviews.

Trust pilot you also need to look at yourselves for providing a platform to host fake reviews.

The fake reviews are pushing what should be at most a 2 star company up to one which is false

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. No response to support tickets raised 10 days ago! Avoid and go elsewhere.
This company have alerted users that any domains they own will be transferred to a new register. They say to contact them if you do not want to move to the new service, but then refuse to respond to any support tickets. They appear to be locking customers into a transfer to their take-over company (Go Daddy) by dragging their heels. Shocking way to treat people who have done business with them for a decade or more.

Support gone AWOL

I have raised several support tickets in recent weeks and have had responses from none of them. I cannot get the live chat to work. I have even followed their official complaints procedure in an attempt to get some some and a response, but nothing back from that either. It's like they "upgraded" by account, doubled the fee and then went AWOL as they arranged a fire sale?

Insecure and awful service

In the last month they upgraded to new hosting software, doubled the price of the hosting package and there's been a catalogue of issues following the upgrade:
* Messed up the admin account. The new admin username was the same as the old admin account's password. Password was unknown and took 5 days for support to resolve.
* SSL certificates have expired on mail and web servers, meaning that it is not possible to download email. 5 days later I'm still waiting a response.

I've used TSOHOST for many years and they were generally reliable, although support was mediocre. As per other reviews, things are randomly breaking and there appears to no longer be any support.

Note, they are also run by GoDaddy, so probably worth avoiding them too.

Messed up DNS records and caused 1 week outage.

I've been using TSOHost and its predecessor for around 12 years. It used to be reliable and with good customer support, but that's no longer the case.

The last straw was when they pushed some change with no notification that apparently deleted my DNS records, and also completely lost one of my domains. By the time I realized I was missing some emails, it had been a week outage. Completely unacceptable, and I've now cancelled and moved somewhere else.

Appalling customer service and spiraling costs

I have been with TSO Host for over a decade but in the last 12 months their service has plummeted. I haven't had cause to raise a support ticket very often in the past but lately I've had to contact them several times, email down and expired SSL certificate. They took days to respond to one ticket and completely failed to respond to the other. After repeatedly chasing I tried their live chat support and during the process was cut off twice and had to restart the conversation and go through their security questions again. The whole process took well over an hour. I was was advised that I'd need to pay an additional £59.99 to install a SSL certificate. I've paid it this time just to get my website operational again but it's worth noting that other hosting providers provide SSL's as part of their hosting package and their fees are cheaper than TSO Host. Interestingly I've notice someone else's review posted today (another negative one) that they were charged £31.24 for an SSL, bit different to £59.99.
Since they migrated platforms this year my annual hosting fee has over doubled in price and my old package included an SSL certificate. So they're now charging over double the hosting fees and adding an additional £59.99 fee for the SSL (or £31.24 depending on who you speak to). My old package is no longer available but surely the old packages are only no longer available because they chose not to make them available. Apparently I'm on the equivalent package but that's not accurate either because it doesn't include the same services that I previously purchased at half the price.
In addition to this TSO Host is 'retiring' and all customers are being transferred to 123 Reg from October 2024. They're migrating all customers across from October 2024 and expect to be complete by Christmas 2024. So another period of instability and no doubt a non existent customer service provision while they focus on migrating to another company. Interesting they didn't share this information BEFORE they migrated us all across to a new platform to give customers the choice of whether they wished to stay.
There's plenty of providers out there with outstanding reviews, more competitively priced, offering more services and with better customer service....time to go shopping I think.
