Never pay the fee upfront (despite their extremely pushy sales tactics). Arrange the £200 call fee with the actual solicitor if you feel to use these swindlers.

(They are also known as SABZ Solicitors so look them up on google to read all of the negative reviews from actual clients…)

We paid for our urgent spousal visa case the salesperson convinced us that they could handle. We were rejected on 5 out of 7 of the points!! The cover letter they sent had spelling and grammar errors all over. They didn’t make any compelling arguments to the home office and also gave us wrong advice.

DO NOT PAY them if you want a quality job or correct information to make an informed decision. They lie and try to get as much money out of you as possible. It’s sickening that this company (spread throughout the UK) is still allowed to operate.

You’ll just be a number to them. Not an actual human being with a life, home and family.

Having been let down by the professional negligence of our first lawyer (resulting in an overstay), I contacted UK Immigration Solicitors (SABZ Solicitors) thinking they could help. On the initial call, I was reassured they'd handled thousands of similar cases — and pressured into paying £2,200 upfront, told our case was “urgent,” before I’d even spoken to a solicitor. Only after paying did we learn we could only cancel after the first call for £200. From the outset, it felt like they’d say anything to secure their full fee and avoid cancellation.

During the call, Shabnam advised us to apply under the 10-year route, but only after reviewing their client care letter did we discover it could take up to 12 months - a timeline never disclosed verbally. My wife urgently needs to visit her seriously ill grandmother in the U.S. Had we known, we’d have refused - but we were already locked in.

We switched to the 5-year route due to the shorter timeframe. SABZ admitted it would be harder but said if refused, we might still be offered the 10-year route. We trusted them to build the strongest case. Instead, they sent us an 11-page cover letter the day before submission, full of spelling and grammar mistakes, which I had to correct myself, given very little time.

The application was refused. Even SABZ admitted the Home Office “probably hadn’t looked at the supporting documents” — meaning their long, rambling letter likely backfired. They failed us entirely:
• No emphasis on the emotional and financial toll of separation, caused by our previous lawyer's negligence
• Ignored key evidence, including email chains proving legal misguidance
• Didn’t argue the financial hardship or impossibility of maintaining two lives across two countries while running a UK business
• Failed to establish ‘insurmountable obstacles’, which was their core job - and everything above should have qualified

Worse still, they never told us that refusal would mean 12 weeks to reapply from the U.S. - 4 weeks more than standard. That critical detail was only revealed after the refusal.

Now my wife faces an impossible choice: leave to see her seriously ill grandmother not knowing if or when she’ll return - or stay and risk never seeing her again. The stress, heartbreak, and damage this caused us is indescribable. This outcome was entirely preventable - had we simply been given honest and complete information from the start.

Adding insult to injury, SABZ quoted:
• £1,000 to appeal,
• a £500 “success fee”, and
• £800 for a court representative.

We filed the appeal ourselves for free, later paying only an £80 fee. You don’t need a hearing, yet this too was never mentioned. Even after we said we might withdraw due to our family emergency, they still tried to persuade us to pay for their service. They saw our desperation - and tried to exploit it again.
We’ve lost over £4,500 in SABZ fees, Home Office charges, and Premium Service costs - and ended up with nothing but failure. Their conduct is exploitative, careless, and shameless. They take your money, deliver poor work, and when it falls apart, push you toward costly “solutions” that only benefit them.

They should be called SHAM Solicitors, not SABZ.

Since our refusal, we’ve read many reviews echoing our experience:
• Clients pressured to pay before speaking to a solicitor
• Long delays and poor communication
• Weak, copy-paste legal work
• No accountability after failure — just more charges

SABZ might claim “we warned you the case was risky.” But that doesn't justify taking £2,200, giving terrible advice, submitting a sloppy argument, and then demanding more money when it failed. If it was so risky, why take full payment before even explaining the stakes?

Avoid at all costs. But if you must, ask everything, get it in writing, pay nothing in advance, and walk away if anything feels off. Don’t be pressured. SABZ ruined what should have been a joyful chapter of our lives. Don’t let them do the same to you.

I want to thank SABZ Solicitors for Helping me with my Immigration application. They are good advisors as well as getting all my documentation and application sent to the Home Office in a timely manner. I want to thank Mr Bilal Babar and Syed Rehan Haider for their help as well.
