I have used their services multiple times, including manicure, home cleaning, and babysitting, and every time the professionals have been excellent. The manicure was done perfectly, very precise and professional. The cleaning service was thorough, and the house was spotless afterward. The babysitter was also wonderful — reliable, kind, and very attentive.
Everything was easy to book, on time, and very professional. I highly recommend Urban Company and will definitely continue using their services.
UC Native M0 Warranty Scam: Don’t Fall for the "Pressure Kit" Trap
I purchased the Urban Company Native M0 in Nov 2025 (AWB # SF2424024207URM). Within just two months, the machine stopped working. Despite the heavily marketed "2-year unconditional warranty," Urban Company is simply beating around the bush to avoid fixing the problem.
During the initial installation, their own technician confirmed the water pressure was perfectly fine. Now, they are using "low pressure" as a fake excuse to bypass warranty repairs and extract more money. They tried to force me to pay an extra ₹900 for an "external pressure kit" instead of honoring their service agreement.
Frustrated, I called an independent technician (an ex-UC employee). He fixed the machine in under 5 minutes and confirmed that UC intentionally blames water pressure to avoid warranty costs and upsell unnecessary parts.
Avoid this product if you value your money and peace of mind.

I booked a cleaner from Urban Company on Wednesday, and it was a complete disaster. Floors and balcony were left dirty, with hair and dust everywhere. The cleaner spent a long time but did not improve anything.
Customer service was non-existent — no proper follow-up, no one addressed my complaint, and the same cleaner was even sent back without my consent.
This service is far below any acceptable standards. If you value cleanliness and professionalism, think twice before booking with them.

Today sent a cleaner who is unwell. Urban clap has turned into the most unprofesionally handled and managed company. The recent experience had been oberwhelming and exhausting. They book a service then cancel it and then reschedule it without informing customers and then blame their employees that they are the ones doing it. Do not go into a long term service with them until they improve. Else it is as good a spam.

Horrible customer service experience
They keep sending cleaners without Emirates ID (which my security, understandably, will not let into the building). A key point of using a reputable company is to ensure full compliance with the law. This has happened 4 times in 6 weeks. And on another occasion no one arrived and on another occasion two maids arrived at the same time, and I had to spend 30 mins on the phone trying to sort it out. I have only been using UC for two months….
The biggest issue is the customer service - there is basically no way to speak to anyone unless they decide to call you (and even if they do, good luck with that). And the app has only basic functionality. I would have tried to sort this out with customer service - but instead I had little option but to cancel.
If you get a good maid, and you can communicate directly with her, then you may be fine. But UC otherwise provides an extremely underwhelming experience.

Very poor clean and service. i had to chase the cleaner Suni who had taken advantage the we had not moved into the property yet and could not inspect the cleaning straight away. Shocking and would avoid at all costs.

We have been using Urban Company in for several months, and while our first experience was excellent, everything went downhill after that. They clearly try to impress you the first time by sending their best cleaner, but once you start rebooking, the service quality collapses.
I’ve experienced multiple last-minute cancellations, often when I needed the service most. The app shows confirmed bookings, but then—just an hour before—the appointment gets cancelled. When you call customer service, they claim the booking “wasn’t possible,” even though it was already confirmed on their platform. This has happened several times, showing a complete lack of coordination and reliability.
The cleaners themselves are often unprofessional. Many rush through the job, leave air conditioning units running when they leave, and don’t bother to clean thoroughly. A few even plead for top ratings and hint that poor reviews might “cause them problems.” On one occasion, after I gave an honest rating for poor service, I actually received a threatening call from the cleaner saying that “no one will come next time” if I didn’t give high scores. That’s completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on Urban Company’s management and training standards.
When I reached out to customer service, they offered polite apologies but no real solutions. They keep promising to “escalate the issue” or “ensure it won’t happen again,” yet the same problems continue. There’s no accountability, no quality check, and no consistency. The call center is based in India and the agents really don’t care and have fake apologies.
In the end, Urban Company has proven to be unreliable, unprofessional, and stressful to deal with. They seem more focused on chasing five-star ratings than actually delivering quality service. It’s deeply disappointing because the concept is good—but the execution is terrible.
After months of giving them multiple chances, my conclusion is simple: when all else fails, it’s better to clean your home yourself than rely on Urban Company.

I was told that the cleaner belongs to a different “category” Is this ever mentioned in their app? Certainly not! (Refer attached) BTW, I have sent them an email as per their request to resolve this. Internet customer service team says that they “will handle this.” Update as of 8/8/25 - Internet customer service team called saying that they will arrange for it and “make it happen” but later received a call from the call center saying that it cannot be done.
