Product advertised for £29.95, order confirmation did not quote the advertised price soon realise I cancelled the order made on 2/10/21.
I thought that was it but I now realised, after reading reviews here that they had charged me £176. 71 under
Aura skin help. It is now out of bank's 120 days rule for a refund and I am out of pocket!! Why are they still carrying on this massive scam? I am 84, a widow living on pension and it is a massive dent in my limited income!!

I was tempted but checked trustpilot. I don’t normally go for things like this but I would always look at review as this happened to me a few years ago with a product. £89 taken instead of free trial just pay £3.95 postage. I got it back but you should always contact them, then your bank and the US trading standards if it’s trading there. The more people who reported it the better.

Velma skin care, don't waste your money.£29.99 order turned into £176.46 and you can't stop the money going, we managed to stop further payments going by contacting our bank. It's a subscription trap.be carefull.Charlie.

To all who have been scammed. Contact the supplier, if no response wait until product arrives, ours took two months. When received contact your bank and they will investigate. Ours did and refunded our scammed payment in full.

Saw a Facebook ad and checked here for mentions of Veona, the miracle cream, and the sisters who allegedly had a standing ovation from Dragon’s Den investors.

Sounds like a blatant scam with the way they take out more than you agree to pay, and take further payments. Also, the bad reactions people have had from trying their unidentifiable product.

Wish I had read reviews as I to have been charged £176 for what I thought was a jar of cream, got in touch with the company to complain, was offered 50% money back so took it, have written to them to cancel any more being sent and will also inform my bank, what a scam

Yes I ordered what I thought was one product for £29.95 have been charged £176.71. Five cheap looking products arrived. I now have noted an email from them says I am in a monthly subscription. I have tried to cancel, they say order already processed and a 15% restock fee will be charged if I return them. Very disappointed with products and company,

Not sure about the creams as not received them yet. Bought them this morning at a special offer of £29.95 ...So why £176 was taken and another £177 to a supermarket .com site I don't know .My bank called from the fraud dept . I've received 2emails from Veona but you can't reply to them. I want my money back please now .

I also got scamed am disputing it with my bank 49.99 turned out to be 235.76. could not believe it. All they had to say to me was that order was on its way I will have to return it at 15% surcharge and pay my own postage that is just to sit down and enjoy the product could not believe it.

I almost tried but checked just to make sure, I'm so pleased I did.....phew!. I am so sorry for the rest who did buy, we are all vulnerable to these scams. Tell your banks because they usually help and have a list of scams out there and most will help.

I’m another one scammed by Veona BUT I never would have purchased it if it wasn’t in the Sydney morning herald, a trusted but now not so trusted news paper
That was the only reason I bought it and thought I was safe
I’ve emailed them numerous times only to get an automated reply back telling me they would get back to me.... heard nothing
Package arrived after numerous attempts to cancel, no invoice, again nothing
What do I do now?
I’m concerned I’m on a monthly delivery though nothing was mentioned about this before I purchased from Veano, only then did they tell me it’s monthly
Any ideas please?

I almost bought into this con. So grateful I checked with Trustpilot first this time. I suspected it was a scam

Haven't actually bought the Veona products & definitely won't after reading all these reviews. But I did notice the photos of the "genuine users" Before/After photos are all ones I've seen before.... for another company's fake product!

Scam - had the same experience as others. Within 2 hours of purchase I attempted to cancel order when I found the amount charged was much more than I thought I was agreeing to. Tried to contact by both telephone and email. Their Australian phone contact number was disconnected. They finally answered email and offered 50% refund or return of goods. Took the 50% offer and was surprised to actually receive it. Didn't trust that I would get a full refund by returning goods.

My wife was charged £176.71 for a purchase she never even made! A white box arrived today containing 5 cheap-looking tubs and jars - the contents of which I can only describe as caustic. So we have the double-whammy of good old fashioned financial scam - but paired with a potentially dangerous product. The bank have thankfully refunded the unauthorised payment and we move on...

How are people getting scammed by this
The writing is clearly translated from Chinese or something I know the Chinese don’t speak Chinese I’m just saying don’t buy
If you have bought fear not if in the UK contact your bank say you didn’t agree with what was being taken from your account ie mis sold and request a charge back you will get all payments back and those extremely unpleasant people won’t get your money remember CHARGE BACK

Remember sounds to good to be true it is and google abd google more the first option I got when I put in Verona scam was there site saying how well it worked and various other things but all in off English always double check unless buying from a totally trusted site CHARGE BACK IS WHAT YOU SAY TO YOUR BANK

Well I ALMOST fell for it but the wording in the advertisement made me suspicious. Who calls it Shark Cage? So I opened another browser to look at the reviews & thank goodness I followed my instinct or I would have been out a lot of money & time having to deal with the scumbags who are scamming people! Makes me SO mad

I also fell for this company’s misleading advert and should have read the reviews before purchasing.
I tried to cancel straight away after receiving their invoice which didn’t contain any purchase price, just the name of the item and a premier membership which I did not ask for!
They said I couldn’t cancel because I should have phoned them to cancel and I emailed them as stated in their Cancellations/Refunds “live email support”
address!
I then asked them to tell me how much they were charging - was it £29.95?
They replied it was £176.71, but I could have 50% discount “saving me money and time, as well as
convenience”. The alternative - if I returned the product, I would have to pay Shipping/Handling, and
be charged a restocking fee! I didn’t go for their offer because I couldn’t trust them.
After all this I had had enough and didn’t want anymore
contact with them.
Much to my surprise the products arrived very quickly,
but because I do not trust the company, I can’t trust
their products so will not be using them. I don’t know if
their products are any good or not, but if they are,
then I don’t understand why they are using misleading advertising and ignoring the negative reviews!!
My advice - do not buy!!

I too have been scammed today. I purchased the 4-step system for their special price of $49.95 after seeing it advertised as being on Shark tank in America. A couple of hrs later I checked my bank account $235 buckaroos was missing, but pending in my account. I was then lucky enough to stop them getting my payment by logging onto my bank & being able to lock that account until I can get to a branch in the morning. Phew,,, that was a close one. TOTAL SCAM !!! Must tell Scamwatch people.
