Hi Kim, We would like to assure you that we do not use fake or printed marble on products advertised as genuine marble. As marble is a natural stone, every piece has its own unique veining, colour variations, and patterns, which means no two items will ever look exactly the same.

Unfortunately, your shipment experienced an extended customs clearance process. While we understand how frustrating this was, customs inspections and processing times are handled by the relevant authorities and are entirely outside of our control, with no way for us to expedite the process.

We’d like to clarify that Victoria Queen is not a dropshipping company. We operate with three international warehouses, which allows us to ship worldwide. Because we ship globally, delivery times can vary depending on destination, customs clearance, and carrier handling, and we understand how delays without clear communication can be disappointing.

We take customer service very seriously and strive to respond to all emails within 24 hours. Our team is consistently available via email, and we’re sorry if you felt this wasn’t the case during your experience.

Regarding the plug type: as an international retailer, products may be dispatched with different regional plugs to accommodate global orders. While we take responsibility for your overall experience with Victoria Queen, we’d like to clarify that our couriers are independent third-party operators. As such, we unfortunately have no direct control over their scheduling or arrival times, despite delivery preferences being noted and passed on. We’re glad to hear, however, that the driver himself acted professionally.

Regarding packaging, all of our furniture is delivered in wooden crates with foam protection. This is standard practice for all furniture shipped via sea freight and is essential to ensure items arrive safely and undamaged. Shipping in cardboard or plastic is not suitable for furniture of this size and value, as it would significantly increase the risk of damage in transit. For this reason, wooden crating is used across the industry.

We’d also like to clarify that we do not charge customers any additional fees after purchase. Any out-of-pocket expenses related to storage, delivery timing, or the optional removal of packaging are at the customer’s discretion and arranged independently.

We appreciate you highlighting areas where communication could be clearer, and this feedback is being taken on board to help improve our processes moving forward. While we’re pleased you love the furniture itself, we regret that the delivery experience fell short of what you expected and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
