Please all customers virgin is not bad what you are saying, if you are going to leave country or u make the passport plan open application there every details is there if u have passport issued sim and u have 30 days and ur emirates id will come after 30 days before finishing 30 days call virgin helplone or inform them and then you will not loose any plan till u can get more months fron virgin mobile if u inform them, Just everything is about what u are doing check and inform virgin helpline or customer services u will not loose anythinggg, Insteas of giving here bad reviews u have to get knowledge about virgin application there is all solution and everything to solve it Please again Virgin is very best compant if u encounter problems its by you when u dont understand it. I am a 02 customer but still have a handset loan agreement with virgin . I have spent the last 24 hours to contact them but there appears to be no way of speaking with someone 😕 I have tried every number possible what are there still existing customers ment to do

totally USELESS
needed to find out why Could not use the O2 app as Virgin mobile joined with O2 so was passed round the houses with no one knowing having a clue then finally spoke to someone who then wanted the know my bank account number which they have been taking money out for 18 months and they kept telling me it was the wrong number. So I said if it was the wrong number I will stop my direct debit payments.
Worst company ever
I would give this company a minus if I could . Phoned up virgin about my contract was told I could upgrade as my contract had ended but would need to do it with 02. Got a new contract then found out my old contract still has a year left on it so paying for 2 phones I complained and was told there was no record of me being told that surprise surprise. To add insult to injury my new phone is absolutely ridiculous no service cuts of halfway through conversation texts gets pinged back. Wish I had kept old phone now

Useless call centre
Horrific experience with a foreign call centre. Utterly hopeless a total waste of two hours at the weekend and another hour today. I will be making a formal complaint.
Please don't buy virgin SIM
Please don't buy virgin SIM as we are not able to send the parking SMS telling as we don't have parking SMS facility in some Emirates. I had gone to Ajman and when I was trying to send SMS to the Parking it had a issue while send SMS. I contacted the virgin call centre and they informed me as you are not able to send any SMS. I just wanted to know if my number don't have the SMS facility then why I have the SMS option in my virgin account?
This virgin telecom just makes fool and holds your money so you don't have and option after the money is transferred to your virgin account then they informs us as u don't have any option
Please stop making fool and please stop grabbing the money in your account.

Without any doubt the absolute worst customer service ever.
They promise call backs - they don't do them.
They assign people to deal with complaints who can't read properly or understand English properly.
They got my complaint wrong on so many levels.

I'd give them minus 5 if I could. Absolutely everything is wrong since they transferred my contract to O2. Worst of all no service at all on my sim and off course still charging me. Good luck trying to get through to someone, Virgin transfers you to O2 and O2 back to Virgin and round we go... As soon as I fix the money part I'll be gone to another provider!
Mobile phone handset query - noone has a clue
If you previously had a mobile handset contract with Virgin good luck trying to find out who the contract is with now! Been transferred between O2 & Virgin five times and no-one can help me...all I want to do is upgrade my device. Absolute shambles of an organisation!

I wouldn’t even give Virgin mobile 1 star. I’ve never had an issue before they joined with O2. My phone hasn’t worked for a month or so, Apple have repaired my phone three times due to mobile data issues and they have come to terms it’s a faulty phone. I was on the phone for 3-4hrs today trying to get a replacement which never happened because Virgin mobile kept transferring my call over to O2 when it isn’t anything to do with O2 because the phone itself is from virgin mobile! Virgin won’t own up to it and give me a replacement phone so I have taken out a mobile contract somewhere else as I need a phone daily!! Virgin mobile don’t have a clue and are useless, awful customer service. I’d avoid at all costs. They are also very rude!!
Virgin Mobile False Credit Information
Someone stole my identity and took out a mobile phone. I reported it to (a) the Virgin Fraud & Risk team, (b) the Virgin Credit File and Amendment team, and (c) the Complaints department. None responded. The Virgin Customer Service team didn't have contact phone numbers for the Fraud and Credit File Teams. Total mess.
O2 changeover rendered phone useless
All was well until they changed to O2. Now my phone never has reception and they’ve increased my monthly bill.
I can’t even sit in my garden and talk on the phone as the reception drops out constantly. I don’t live in a remote area. I can hear the M25 from my house. Im leaving this review as I just spent the evening researching a new deal through someone that uses EE. Hoping the change over will be easy as I’m aware Virgins customer service is as good as their network coverage!

92% given to this company as a 1 star. I took the company to CISAS 4 years ago who were their governing body at that time. The decision was deemed in my favour. They sent me an apology letter, gave me compensation and 4 years later they have sent the amount to a collection agency. Now I am back to the Ombudsman to try and sort this out. What an extremely bad company. 4 years later!!!! Hello O2/Virgin. Look how well you are doing!!!!! Update. Now they have sent me to another collection agency even though I have the CISAS decision which clearly states I owe them nothing and that's what I'll be paying them.

I have been a loyal customer for 7 years but won’t be staying. Since the switch to O2 it has been disastrous, I travel a lot and it really doesn’t mater it consistently rubbish. Don’t join it’s a waste of time now.
Shambles of a company
I have attempted to raise a complaint with virgin mobile / o2 on two occasions now and iv not recieved contact in relation to the matter or any kind of final response letter.
In May 2023 I was informed the services provided to me would be moving over to o2. I contacted virgin mobile in July 2022 to advise that I did not wish to transfer the services to o2 and I requested my options to end my contract.
I had been informed by a customer service agent at virgin mobile and an agent from o2 that the sim and the handset would be cancelled and I had confirmed this would be the case with virgin mobile. I was shocked to recieve a letter a month later advising I was in arrears and I contacted the customer service team at virgin mobile and requested to raise a complaint. I cleared the arrears and reset my direct debit up for the hand set as I had been told the sim was cancelled but not the handset.
I contacted virgin serval times and made sure my details were up to date. I did not recieve any contact from the complaints team or a final response letter and the agent from virgin informed me that the complaints team advised for me to refer the matter to o2 and nothing more was done.
I spoke to o2 and they advised the finance is with virgin and therefore can not view the account or see any commentary from virgin.
I attempted to raise another complaint before Christmas and again no communication has been recieved. I spoke with virgin this week and they have informed me they could not see a complaint on file. When I explained the situation to the agent they were not sympathetic to what I was telling them and instead insisted that customer service would never advise that the handset would be cancelled. I stated to the agent this was why iv attempted to raise two complaints so the call recordings could be listened too. The agent proceeded to transfer me to o2 and o2 then advised me I would need to go back to virgin as the finance was with them and they would not have any information on file regarding the matter.
My experience has been the most disappointing iv ever experienced with a mobile provider.
I called virgin mobile again today, First agent left me on hold, the second agent, hung up and the third agent just transfered me straight to another team to a very blunt and rude lady.
I referred the matter by email to the CEO group with no reply and for those that are lucky to get replies from that group don't go anywhere.
Iv just cleared the outstanding balance now to be rid of Virgin, never again in my life would I touch them again.
Extremely bad Customer service and bussiness and judging by the rest of these reviews virgin mobile won't be around for long at this rate.

Since virgin merge with o2 all is goes to .... spending cup is doesnt work with roaming and now o2 start charge all roaming data even u have 25gb per month abroad for free .. we paid £95 for month of usage date and last month has been all good but this month they try to charge £34 becouse roaming has been used for 3 months and thats stupid we never had this problem with virgin . we sign agreement with virgin a there was never problems as now with o2 even has been told that nothing will be change ...
Customer services struggle with English..and everything else..
I called them as I noticed that I was paying £66 a month for broadband when they had speedier services at half the price.. but for new customers only!. I have been now on the phone with 2 of their people for a total of 1 1/2 hours!!! None of them speaks proper English.. And having finally accepted a deal at £51 a month as unfortunately there are no competitors in the area of the service. I have just been cut off to organise the new router. Apparently I need to speak to someone else to send the new router... Unbelievable appalling!!
