Damaged goods

Damaged goods. We so far have had our fenders, tires damaged, pieces missing, seat damaged (all upon receiving shipment.

The battery gauge on one of the bikes only charges to two out of 5 bars even if we charge it fully overnight.

We are currently working with the company to see how to remediate this. Other than that the bikes do look nice and for the price point seem reasonable. Not happy with the damages so far

It needs safety devices like mirrors and flags

It’s OK, but there are no mirrors or any safety flags or any place to put them. I appreciate the day materials are light weight, but makes me a little nervous about how sturdy it is.

Bike came in a thousand pieces that…

Bike came in a thousand pieces that would require an engineer to build but that isn’t even possible because rear fork is so bent making bike is not possible

Quality electric trike

Quality electric trike. The build quality is top-notch. Starting with the trike being well assembled and packaged and the trike was easy to get going. I found they took extra steps to make it a stress-free setup. The trike performed exactly as it should

Go with another brand

Frame arrived bent in several places. Chain was too short. I needed to take out to a local bike shop to be repaired while assembling. Assembly took almost an entire day not counting repair trips. Go with another brand.

Power to push through beach sand

After riding underpowered folding ebikes on the beach, I welcomed the power of the Viribus Getaway to move through most types of sand. While no fat tire bike is capable of negotiating loose sand, you need power and torque to get through the mushy sand that forms the boundary between the hard pack at the ocean edge and the loose sand above the high tide line. The Getaway had no problems - allowing me to extend my time on the beach (lol... get back before high tide pushes the water up to the loose sand!)

I had no problem loading the rear rack with all my surf fishing gear. The ebike had plenty of range for my purpose, could be quickly charged and fit inside my Prius when folded!

The bike is good for the price and some…

The bike is good for the price and some of the extras. However there are a few smaller things missed. Seats are small and uncomfortable, no shock absorbers to alleviate bumps and gear ratios are way too low especially if using the electric. Regardless it is a decent price for what you are getting.

Love My Bike! (Comments from a Novice)

The bike was received quickly, within a week. I am a novice in putting bikes together. The videos made it seem so easy that I thought I would have no trouble. However, my bike came with the front fork facing backwards. It took me a while to realize it when the front wheel didn't go on. I was unsure what to do. I did try taking a wrench and unscrewing what looked like a large nut on the steering column but it was on very tight and I was afraid of forcing something that shouldn't be forced. I looked at the instruction booklet again and also reviewed the videos but nothing addressed what I was seeing. I called the company and was able to speak to someone immediately. My issue was redirected to a technician who would get back to me in 24 hrs. Which he did. But by then my husband who has had experience, helped me put the bike together. I definitely needed his strength in loosening the nut that I had initially worked on. We got the bike together and the brakes adjusted. It really was a simple process but for someone with no experience, I could have used a bit more information in the videos. I DO THINK the videos are an excellent way of showing the how. Oh, it would also have been a big help if the multi pronged wrench shown in the video could be included. I am super happy with the bike. It is just what I wanted.
