They violated a contract to sell me a watch. I paid for it and received a confirmation and they then tried to charge me 6% more for using a payment service AFTER THE FACT. This is after the payment went through and they realized their system didn't charge me the additional fee and they were not going to recover it, they cancelled my order.

I reached out to Watch Guy while in New York, searching for a rare model I’ve been unable to track down for several months. While this watch was listed for sale with several dealers, none of them actually had it in stock. Watch Guy not only had it in stock, but I was able to promptly make an appointment to see the watch in person.

To my pleasant surprise, Watch Guy NYC had undersold the condition of the watch, as it was in fact a completely new, fully stickered model recently purchased from the AD. As people who have experience dealing with the watch grey market know, new can mean different things depending on which secondary market dealer it's coming from.

Their pricing was fair, and there was no shenanigans or "surge pricing" even after I tipped my hand a bit and revealed that I'd been looking for this watch with no luck for several months.

As a business dealing in high value luxury goods with low margins, I'm sure honest mistakes have been made in their years of experience. However, not only would I do business with them in the future, they will be one of the first dealers I reach out to next time I need to purchase a rare or expensive watch.

I had a great experience at WatchGuyNYC! Anthony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was very good at communication and explained everything clearly, making the whole process easy to understand. He took the time to answer all my questions and helped me find the perfect watch. His customer service was excellent, and he made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this store and especially Anthony if you're looking for a great watch-buying experience!

I had a mixed experience dealing with this guy. I traded 2 ladies Patek Philippe twenty4 auto watches for a ceramic audemars piguet 34 mm carolina bucci. I was told the AP was new with box and warranty card. The trades + 20K. I was asked to send a bank wire for the 20K, but, I did not feel completely comfortable since this was the first time dealing with this guy. I paid with amex and was sent the AP. When I received the watch, I was surprised to see that it was used and did not include the warranty card. I immediately contacted "the watch guy" and no reply. I kept leaving messages, and finally a reply. I was told that he misspoke and it was used but only a year old and he will send me the warranty card in a few days. Weeks went by and I texted asking about the warranty card. I was told that he cannot find the card, but, has a pic of it and will forward it to me. Again, a week or so later, still no pic. I contacted them again, this time I was told that they will pay $500 and get archive papers from AP by the end of the week via email and it will be forwarded to me. Now, over a month after I paid for the NIB watch with papers, "the watch guy" is not returning emails, texts or phone calls. Be careful when dealing with this guy, make sure of what you are getting before you pay him, he cannot be trusted.

These guys take months to reply back through email or text... awful service so far. The watch I wanted was in stock when I asked them, but didn't provide info on how to wire transfer. It took them 3 weeks to reply back and the watch was Out of Stock by then. Now they have it in stock, price went up by 18%. Ridiculous doing business with some person named Mig. I was planning to buy 2 watches (black dial and white dial)
THE EXPERIENCE BECAME WORSE after talking to Anthony. He said he would honor the price for the white one. Then he started saying that I was taking advantage of this situation WHEN I WAS ACTUALLY ASKING FOR THE PRICE LISTED FOR WIRE TRANSFER ON HIS WEBSITE FOR BOTH WATCHES! He then started saying "I can't please every customer". After that, he thought I was a watch dealer because I was buying 2 watches and even asked what I did for a living. I was buying one for myself and my wife. He finally said he will do it and asked me to delete the review on Yelp. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING! I don't trust these people! AVOID!

This company does not have the watch I purchased.

My experience was over before it even started. I made my initiall purchase online on March 19, 2018 and checked the status two days later to find out that my purchase was cancelled.

I tried calling to inquire however they were closed right before I called. I did get a call back from Anthony about 10 minutes later on his mobile phone and he told me that they had a different contact number on my order that I did not recognize so my order was cancelled. Anthony then told me he would look into it the following day (Friday). In the meanwhile, I emailed the store to inquire about my order.

I did not get a call back Friday so I tried calling the store and it went to voicemail. You can't leave a message because the mailbox is full. They are closed Saturdays so I tried calling again on Sunday. Again, no one answered and you can not leave a message because the inbox is full. I also tried calling Anthony's mobile again, no answer but I was able to leave a message. As back up, I also texted Anthony but have not received any follow call.

Needless to say, I am very dis-satisfied with my experience. It would have been nice to get some sort of follow up however it never happened. This is by far the worst customer service experience especially when dealing with a high value purchase!

I placed an order for a watch listed and without hearing anything from the sales representatives or customer service of WatchGuyNYC, was informed that the order was canceled. I followed up with an email asking if any of the similar items were in stock and did not hear back. After two days (I still have not heard back, by the way), I ordered from another jeweler. I am curious if any of the aggressively priced items are actually in stock... When making a $7k watch purchase, it would be nice to experience some decent customer service. I ended up selling my previous watch to Crown and Caliber and purchasing new from David SW. Both were great to work with.

Excellent company! Fast shipping and quality products!

I placed an order since last Sunday. Until now I have not heard anything from the company at all. I called and left a message and emailed to the company concerning with my order. No one returned my call or my email.

I am very disappointed.

Great service, prompt and easy to reach. The watch was exactly what was ordered and expected. I will definitely be a return customer!
