Vietnam & Cambodia Discovery tour was excellent
Just finished 16 days touring Vietnam north to south and now on our way to Cambodia. Loved our Vietnam guided trip!
* Lap, our local guide, shared interesting historical & cultural insights in a thoughtful, sensitive way
* Itinerary was packed with variety of places, experiences, modes of transport (cycling tour of Hue and vespas in HCMC-Saigon were highlights)
* Walks in gorgeous northern highlands in Hasan, staying at Panhau eco retreat
* Cruising in Halong Bay & visiting the wartime hospital cave
* Hanoi and HoChiMinh city were gloriously wild sensory overloads, balanced well with the slower paced Mekong, Hoi An, Halong Bay, Hasan
* Hotels were very good overall with the Little Residence in Hoi An an absolute gem
* The food was delicious and plentiful, however set menus are understandably less spicy than a la carte. Ask for spice condiments on the side to liven up
* The breadth of active experiences, from multiple bike rides & walking tours to Lap's early morning optional Tai Chi, were great at keeping us energised in this hot climate.
* Lap seamlessly and humourously took great care to meet the various needs of our group of 14 and ensured we learnt a lot as well as having a lovely time in this fascinating country.
Thank you Wendy Wu, Lap and all our drivers

Thank you so much for your fantastic 5‑star review! It’s wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your 16‑day journey through Vietnam, and we’re thrilled that the experience has been so memorable as you continue on to Cambodia.
We’re especially delighted to hear such lovely feedback about Lap. His thoughtful insights, humour, and care for the group make him a truly special guide, and he will be over the moon to know how much you appreciated his efforts — from the cultural stories to the early‑morning tai chi sessions!
Your highlights paint such a vivid picture — from cycling in Hue and riding vespas in Saigon, to the peaceful scenery of the northern highlands, the beauty of Halong Bay, and the charm of Hoi An. It’s fantastic that the mix of activities, pacing, and varied experiences helped you see Vietnam from so many angles.
We’re also glad you enjoyed the hotels, especially the Little Residence, and that the food, set menus, and overall organisation added to your experience. Thank you for sharing such helpful tips for future travellers too.
A huge thank you from all of us for choosing to travel with Wendy Wu Tours. We hope the next leg of your adventure in Cambodia is just as incredible!
Fantastic trip to India
We've just returned from a fantastic trip touring southern India.
The trip was well organised, hotels good, trips out and our transport excellent.
We had flight cancellation due to the conflict in Iran. Wendy Woo sourced us new flights, arranged for us to stay further at our hotel and transfer to the airport. We were kept informed at all times.

Best Guided Tour ever!
We went on the Guided Tour covering China and Japan. We’ve now done the Chinese part of the Tour and I have to say it’s been perfect in every way. Wendy Wu Tours have organised the very best hotels, fantastic restaurants and the most impressive tourist attractions. What has made the Tour even better was our National Tour Guide, Andy Zhao. He looked after us every step of the way. He arranged our schedule so that we missed the biggest crowds and any potential bad weather. He would do anything in his power to ensure we had a great Tour. The local tour guides (David, Shirley and Choi) plus the coach drivers also played their parts in making everything run smoothly. I cannot recommend Wendy Wu Tours enough. Every aspect of this trip has been pure quality. Thank you for helping us have life long happy memories.

Ancient Empires of China & Japan
Andy was an absolutely outstanding tour guide and truly made our trip to China unforgettable. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to ensure we were safe, comfortable, and well looked after at all times.
His knowledge was exceptional, every location, historical detail, and cultural insight was explained clearly and with genuine passion, which really brought China to life for us. What stood out most was his organisation and attention to detail; he consistently made sure our group was ahead of the crowds, often getting us first access to key sights, which made a huge difference.

Excellent itinerary very well executed
Excellent hotels and excellent guides.
Very good itinerary but Hanoi part of trip would have been better if not split into three separate stays each of one night. Cyclo tour of Hanoi Old Town was a qaste of time. A city tour by coach with vommentary would have veen much more informative.
Halong Bay snd Angkor were the trip highlights

An unforgettable experience…
I cannot recommend the experience highly enough. The itinerary was exceptionally well planned, covering every major place of interest while still allowing enough time to truly enjoy each destinations.
When we experienced unexpected flight cancellations due the war in the middle East, the company handled the situation promptly and professionally, offering reassurance and efficient solutions at a stressful time. This gave us real peace of mind.
I would also like to commend the local guides in both Thailand and Singapore. They were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive from start to finish.
Overall, this was a superbly organised trip with excellent customer service and unforgettable experiences.

Wendy Wu Tours makes travelling so easy
Wendy Wu Tours is a great company to travel with, everyone is met at the airport and guided all the way though until being dropped off at the check-in desk at the end of the holiday. Everything is included in the price. I have just returned from the Singapore to Bangkok by Rail trip. There were three guides, one for each country, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, each one was local and very knowledgeable. They were able to give us insights into the sights and the culture of each place.

A very memorable Beijing & Xi'an Tour
Wow!! What an amazing time we had in China. We were a group of 23 and our guide Addison was absolutely superb. Everything he did and arranged was for our benefit to get the most out of our time in China. He even switched our programme around to avoid crowds when he could. Addison picked our Chinese meals and restaurants for us and pre arranged our food so everyone had something to suit them. What a dedicated, genuine man he was even staying up until 3am on our last day to put together a video for us all.
Thank you Addison and Wendy Wu for a truly memorable holiday. Debi & Wayne. xx

An amazing trip to Beijing and Xi'an
We were a group of 23 and we were so lucky to be given Addison as our guide. He made the trip memorable for us and went the extra mile to ensure that we had the best time possible. He rearranged the itinerary to ensure that we were at the incredible locations at the best possible time to avoid the crowds - our early morning visit to the Ming Tombs was unbelievable and so peaceful as we were the only group there. We also visited the Great Wall in the afternoon for the same reason. All our meals were included and Addison had arranged the menus himself to ensure that we were offered the most amazing food and great restaurants and what we experienced was phenomenal. The short 5 night tour was crammed with amazing memories and not a minute of the time we were together was wasted. Everyone got on so well and Addison made the trip so special - we even learned some Chinese - it was such a happy trip never to be forgotten. Thank you again Addison and also thank you for the memorable video that you prepared and sent to us all.

So well organised and arranged tailored trip
I would one hundred percent travel with WW again. They did a tailor made trip for just my husband and I as we wanted it to be the two of us but with a proper experience.
We visited Cambodia first then Vietnam.
From start to finish was faultless- it ran like clockwork to give us the maximum time to enjoy our holiday. The tour operator was at every airport and every hotel lobby at the schedule time for either pick ups for flights or tours in the daytime. They are very informative and really good trips. We went all around Cambodia then went to Ho Chi Minh to the tunnels to the Mekon before flying to Da nag and spending some precious days in Hoi An. on the list was Hanoi and then a two night cruise along Halong Bay which WW organised with perfection.
Katherine in the tailor-made team at WW was professional at all times and explained the full itinerary. Tracy at WW was very helpful with the after questions. I would have no hesitation in flying and letting them organise my trips in the future. Thank you.

Our tour included Vietnam and Cambodia with 4 nights on the Mekong. From start to finish the trip was well organized. All hotels were very good and food, always plenty to enjoy, was exceptional. Could always contact a staff member in the office prior to departure. Cambodian visa was easy to obtain. Our guides were brilliant. We learnt so much from them. Pre Tour information
We travel next week, however the pre-travel information we requested is not available.
