As others have said, the dress I ordered was nylon, not cotton, poorly made and took weeks to arrive.

I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole sent wrong t shirts and won’t change them then they won’t let me e mail them they must of blocked me and I can’t get to contact them money down the drain

Placed an order without checking reviews first as it looked legit and a good website. Nothing looked cheap. I usually go by reviews but this time I didn’t. Spent £80, have been receiving tracking updates and clicked on one I had a few days ago and the webpage has gone! I e not received anything so I’m now in the process of contacting my bank to see if I can get my money back.

Why to you pretend things are made in London when the rubbish is made in China. On trying to return the item you pretend not to be available

I wish I had checked first...poor quality and one item was wrong. Never use them again and learnt a lesson.

I purchased a dress for a wedding and was extremely disappointed when it arrived. Not only for the time it took for delivery but the quality of the dress. The dress was too small so had to organise a refund which they told me i had to return internationally at my own cost or i could keep the item and they would off me store credit or 10% refund. The website is now not available and i am still pursuing my full refund with the bank.

Avoid this scam company. Goods not as described, cheap , poor quality and they don’t answer emails. no way to return.

I am absolutely disgusted by this company and incredibly annoyed with myself for falling for the advertising.

I ordered and paid for a dress but, within minutes, after reading a number of alarming reviews, I tried to cancel my order. Ironically, during that same time I received an email telling me there was still time to add more items to my basket, yet when I contacted customer support I was told it was “too late” to cancel. That simply doesn’t add up.

Instead, I was encouraged to wait until the dress arrived because I “might change my mind.” Unfortunately, my first instinct was right. The dress was of extremely poor quality and looked nothing like the advertising.

I immediately contacted “Emily,” who had previously assured me she would be happy to help with any further issues. Since then, every email I’ve sent to the same support address has simply bounced back, leaving me with no way to resolve the problem.

Based on my experience, I feel completely misled by this company. I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from them to read independent reviews first and proceed with extreme caution.

I also wish I’d done due diligence on this company. The dress I received was too short although I am only 5’3”. Also the colours were garish! Trying to achieve a return proved hopeless, like bashing your head against a brick wall. Please avoid! I do feel they shouldn’t be allowed to advertise online. .

Their website has been taken down and emails bounce
would suggest that they have stopped trading. Looks like the only way of pursuing a refund is via your credit card

I wish I’d looked up the reviews before ordering 2 dresses from Wilson & Carter. When they eventually arrived I was very disappointed with the fit and style which wasn’t like the website. Contrary to the ‘Full Refund’ policy on the website if returned within 30 days etc I’ve messaged umpteen times requesting information on returning and receiving my refund to no avail. My messages have now been blocked so there’s no way they are willing to refund me and I’ve got 2 dresses that are not suitable so they’ll be going to the nearest charity shop! AVOID BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I made my first purchase with this company having checked out their returns policy. "Easy Returns but Customer Pays return". Two polyester dresses would not cost much so went ahead. However, they do not say that returns go to their international warehouse with a potential cost of $30 $50 $100 USD as oposed to their LONDON warehouse which is printed under their name.
I discoverd this when I asked for a refund and they replied that for £16 they would send the correct size and I could keep the ones that dont fit!!
I refused and again asked for a refund postage label.
They replied that to be "fully transparent" the costs would be so hight they would send a completely free correct size and i could keep the others. Seems like a good deal but I don't want 3 dresses that probably won't fit as the quality is not that good. I would have then paid for two dresses that I can not wear and one that probably will not either.

Purchased top half price £34.95 2 weeks later this rag turned up not one in picture but at least I can clean my windows with it

Appalling long wait for delivery, three weeks it took to arrive with countless emails saying it’s on its way.

Once it arrived the occasion I wanted it for had come and gone, only to find this plastic dress - the fabric was appallingly thin, shiny and slippery and the pattern was nothing like how it looked in the photograph.

After trying to ask Wilson and Carter for their refund procedure with no progress on the details I asked for requesting returns details and a refund, they say we’ll get back within 48 hours to absolutely ‘no hear’ apart from adverts of the clothes they sell offering money off and they say ‘our returns’ system is easy.

Still waiting after nearly 4 weeks of asking you to do the decent thing with your customer service responsibilities, come on Wilson and Carter you should be doing better than this. I want returns advice and a full refund of £35 plus postage costs because you are selling rubbish goods that are not as advertised.

The clothing I bought was of very poor quality and when I raised this they offered me 20% refund and for me to keep the clothes as they wouldn’t refund me. They are a total scam and I'm so frustrated that I fell for it

This company is a scam.
They are not based in London at all. Their location is Cheyen , China. Their clothing is sweat shop quality and the materials used are child's play costume quality. They make the returns process almost impossible charging between £30-£50 just to return an item. Delivery takes between 6-10 days as it's being shipped from CHINA!!! STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

Placed an order for 3 dresses in size 8/10 (S), got them, tried on and found them too big. I emailed their customer service team explaining the problem and asked for a refund. They attempted to resolve the issue by offering to send replacements free of charge in the size I needed so as to not incur the return shipping fees of $30-$50 per item ??!!!
So I had a look on their website and they do not have a smaller size than 8/10(S). I explained as they do not have a suitable replacement option I'd like a refund.

They got back to me suggesting I choose another style that better suits my size and fit.
I will not be going back and forth with this, have asked twice for a refund and will not be paying the extortionate shipping fees to post it back to them.

Have raised a chargeback with my card issuer.

Scam site. Says it’s London. Based in China. Very poor quality items only vaguely similar to products in photo. Refuse to take responsibility for returns. AI based communications. Excuse after excuse. Have had to ask bank to handle refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I note they already have a new online shop with same product photos and a new company name….
