The whole experience end to end was great. My consultation with Adam in Bristol was very good and we chatted through the options of donor area, frontal and crown. Adam had a hair transplant so could explain with clarity how the operation would work. During the day in Harley Street, I was very nervous about the potential pain. Dr Barry has done thousands of hair transplants and was brilliant and guided me through the process. The pain was for the first few minutes with the injections and then no pain for the rest of the day. I had 2800 grafts and was in the clinic from 7am to 2pm. Dr Barry had a team of excellent technicians (Sophie, Tara, Fabi, Nadya) who extracted the grafts and inserted them into the head and were extremely organized and caring. Praise to the Wimpole Clinic in Harley Street. Would recommend. Let's see how the results play out as I'm now on Day 2. So far the after care has been great, Adam has been in touch everyday looking at pictures and reminding me of what to do.

Very disappointing experience. I paid a deposit after being assured it would be refunded promptly if I chose not to proceed. However, after cancelling due to poor communication and an unprofessional experience, I had to wait far longer than promised to get my money back. My concerns were ignored until I took further action. Based on my experience, I would recommend comparing several clinics before making a decision.

I paid over £3,000 for the service, but the experience after payment was extremely disappointing. My annual follow-up appointment was rescheduled, and even the new appointment wasn't honored. Reaching customer support by phone was nearly impossible, leaving me with no answers. I also wasted time taking leave from work for appointments that never happened. The lack of communication and reliability is completely unacceptable.

The consultation sounded promising, and I paid in full expecting great results. Unfortunately, the procedure was far more painful than expected, and most of the work was done by assistants instead of the doctor. After many months, I saw little to no improvement. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

chose this clinic because I believed they had a good reputation, but my experience has been very disappointing. After my first hair transplant, I wasn't satisfied with the result, particularly the appearance of my hairline. I was advised to wait for the final outcome, but even after giving it plenty of time, I saw little improvement.Communication became another issue. The aftercare I initially received gradually stopped, and it became difficult to get clear updates or consistent support. I later underwent a second procedure with the hope of improving the results, but unfortunately, I still wasn't happy with the overall outcome.When I recently contacted the clinic to discuss my concerns, I felt my feedback wasn't taken seriously. Instead of receiving understanding and professional support, I left the conversation feeling dismissed and disappointed.After investing a significant amount of money and trusting the clinic with such an important procedure, I expected much better results and customer care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic.

I posted about my experience on **20 May** and, despite the time that has passed, I still haven't received a meaningful response or a resolution.One thing I noticed while reading other reviews is that many of the positive ones focus on the initial consultation or the start of treatment rather than the final outcome or long-term experience. It's worth looking beyond the first impressions before making a decision.Based on my experience, the lack of follow-up and customer support has been very disappointing.

This was my second time going to The Wimpole Clinic, and honestly, my experience was just as good as the first.

A huge thank you to James, my patient advisor, who has been brilliant throughout both of my procedures. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and always happy to answer any questions, no matter how small. What stood out most was how supportive and approachable he was throughout the whole process. You never feel like you’re just another patient.

For my first surgery, I was treated by Dr May, and it was clear from the start why he’s so highly respected. His experience, professionalism, and attention to detail gave me complete confidence and made the whole experience feel straightforward and stress-free.

When I decided to come back for a second procedure, James was once again there to guide me through everything, answer my questions, and make sure my expectations were realistic and understood.

This time I was under the care of Dr Peter Barron, who was fantastic. He took the time to sit down with me and thoroughly explain the procedure, as well as the pre- and post-operative care. I never felt rushed, and it was obvious that he genuinely cared about achieving the best possible result for me.

The day of the procedure ran incredibly smoothly, and the technicians assisting Dr Barron were excellent. They were professional, friendly, and helped put me at ease throughout the day.

There’s a reason The Wimpole Clinic has been voted Hair Transplant Clinic of the Year for six years running. The level of care, expertise, and support they provide is second to none. Having now undergone two procedures with them, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a hair transplant.

The full experience was positive, Wimpole are a great choice for your hair graft surgery. The facility in London is ideally located (Harley street) and is set out very privately. Dr Ulf was excellent from the initial consultancy, he explained the procedure thoroughly in the morning, was very friendly, assured and very good at was he does. The full support team very super friendly and attentive throughout the full day. Post care instructions were very clearly communicated. Now just waiting for the final outcome following recovery.

What a fantastic team! They all made me feel such at ease, they had me smiling and laughing which was lovely as I was quite nervous. I felt I was in good hands throughout the entire day. I can't recommend them enough. Absolutely brilliant 👏

From meetings with consultants to the actual procedure, all staff are friendly and helpful where it’s clear they really care about you as an individual. They are honest, transparent and realistic about each stage of what you will be going through, from the transplant itself going forward in the long term with maintaining and caring for your hair. They are also readily available to answer any questions or queries, particularly during the aftercare.

Still no response or resolution to my post on 20th May. Be aware that many positive reviews refer only to initial treatment and NOT final outcome.

I had my hair transplant at Wimpole Hair Transplant Clinic in London in 2024, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing.

I invested a significant amount of money because I trusted the clinic’s reputation and expected a natural, high-quality result. However, more than a year later, the outcome has fallen far short of my expectations. The hair density is poor, the overall appearance is unnatural, and the transplant did not deliver the improvement I was promised during the consultation.

Looking back, I also feel that the procedure was not carried out with the level of surgical expertise I expected from a premium clinic. For such an expensive treatment, I believe patients deserve experienced surgeons, realistic expectations, and results that match what is advertised.

A hair transplant is not just a cosmetic procedure—it has a huge impact on a person’s confidence. Unfortunately, my confidence has been affected rather than improved, and I now have to consider corrective treatment elsewhere, which will cost even more.

This review reflects my personal experience. I would encourage anyone considering treatment to do thorough research, ask detailed questions about who will perform the surgery, and review as many independent long-term patient results as possible before making a decision.

Always been apprehensive about getting a hair transplant but the moment I had my consultation with Carly my mind was made up. From constant contact throughout and advice I finally went through with it. Carly was there on my arrival on the day of the operation which made me feel more comfortable. The team were great throughout the day and looked after me. I am now 6 months in and cannot believe the results so far. Carly has been in contact throughout regarding the after care. Would highly recommend Wimpole clinic.

The care received at this clinic is outstanding. From the initial reassuring consultation, to the excellent clinical treatment and post treatment care, the experience has been very positive. From start to finish and also post operation, Carly was excellent at guiding me through my transplant and what would happen after / how to look after my new hair.

Extremely positive experience with surgeon Ulf, and the team of Vinay, Hana, Izzy and Tadas. Extremely friendly, polite and professional. I'm in awe of what they do highly skilled. Could not fault the experience on the day whatsoever.

I don’t normally reviews, but due to the superb job that Wimpole did on me I thought it would be an injustice not to share my experience on here.

I have had a receding hairline for many years now, but a couple of years ago it was getting to the stage of do I shave it off or get a hair transplant.

Looking at the actual procedure, recovery and after care needed, I decided that I would like to have the surgery in my own country, where I can travel back home post-surgery and have face to face meetings afterwards to manage the progress.

The next steps were to research the clinics and narrow it down to 3 of which I would each visit for meetings with the Coordinator and Doctor.

When I met Husnain, he was very professional in his approach without being too salesy and gave me an honest opinion on what was needed based on my age, appearance and future potential growth which made me feel at ease with him and Wimpole.

Dr May was also involved from start to finish, who is clearly an expert in his field, giving an honest and real opinion on what would sit right on a mid-40’s aged man and we all agreed to move forward with 2900 FUE grafts.

We agreed to go forward with the surgery mid December 2025 at their Harley Street clinic, and Husnain was always in touch, prepping me on how the day would go etc.

On the day itself I was greeted by Husnain, Dr Michael May and his technicians who put me at ease, whilst discussing the final touches on how they would perform the operation and then agreed to move forward with a certain hair line.

The procedure lasted most of the day, where I was fed, regularly checked on and when the surgery was over given both a post care kit, and clear instructions on how to live the next 14 days which gives you the best chance of a total success.

Husnain kept in touch every day, requesting progress photos so that he could manage any potential issues that may occur (none did).

I have just finished a 6 month face to face review with him, going through all of the pre/post and recent hair photos and it has clearly been a big success, giving me a look of 10 years younger than before, more confidence and the feeling that I made the right choice in using Wimpole.

I would give the whole experience 10 out of 10 and recommend anyone who wants a first-class hair transplant in London to contact Husnain at Wimpole.

Amazing experience! I had an FUT eyebrow transplant with the wimpole. I was very nervous but they reassured me every step of way and I felt like I was in very capable hands. I’m nearly 9 weeks post transplant now and healing going well, can’t wait for final results. The aftercare has been superb too
