Train sets are wonderful for grandchildren of different ages to play together .
Love this website as everything I need to add to our wooden train I have for the grandchildren is here in one place .
I have bought some nice extras as all the children are coming on Xmas Day .The six year old will lay out the track and he has some extra pieces of track with bridges etc . The two under threes will be more interested in building trains and we have added some Thomas trains they like along with battery trains to keep their interest.

Track good but not compatible with the existing Ikea track we have. Our grandson used it for the first time and the wheel came off the battery operated engine.

Antwort von Wooden Railways
Hello Anne,
I am so sorry to hear that the track is not compatible with your Ikea track. Unfortunately there is one very specific type of older Ikea track which is not quite compatible with other brands. I am also sorry to hear there has been a problem with your train. This has not happened before.
Please contact us via the website so we can resolve this for you and replace or refund. We are always happy for customers to return items in the rare instance they find an incompatibility or problem.

The wooden rail track curved mechanical points were brilliant and as they are double sided it gives more choice on railway layout. Really good value for money.

Flying Scotsman & Virgin Wooden Trains
I was looking for the Flying Scotsman and Virgin wooden trains for my son but they were out of stock on a few other sites. Found them on this great site at a good price and also a promo offer on at the time of ordering for 5% discount. The order arrived very quickly, ordered Thursday evening, was dispatched on Friday afternoon and arrived midday on Monday. The trains were in perfect condition on arrival and there was an added bonus of a little packet of haribo sweets in the box! Thanks again!
