I normally don’t leave reviews like this, but I feel it’s important to share my experience for other small business owners.
We signed up with Absorb in December 2025 with the intention of launching a new initiative. From the start, it was communicated that funding was not yet in place and that we were exploring the opportunity. What wasn’t clearly explained was the level of hands-on time, implementation effort, and internal workload required on our end to make the system functional.
After initial onboarding, it became clear that this was not something we could realistically execute while running our day-to-day business. As a result, the platform was not implemented or used beyond the early stage.
Despite the lack of usage and value received, billing continued under the full contract, and attempts to reach a reasonable resolution have been difficult. We made a good-faith effort to settle based on limited use, but that was declined, and the matter has now escalated.
My recommendation to anyone considering this platform: make sure you fully understand the time commitment, internal responsibilities, and financial obligation before signing. Ask detailed questions about implementation requirements and what is expected from your team.
This may work well for companies with dedicated resources, but for small businesses, the expectations and commitments need to be very clear upfront.
