I ordered a new shower pump on a Monday…
I ordered a new shower pump on a Monday for fitting on the Saturday but to make sure I called after I ordered to confirm it would be there on time. I was told that it would easily be there on time, but it did arrive until the following Wednesday 7 working days later. So recommended that you pay for a guaranteed delivery slot or don’t make arrangements to fit it until you have in your hands. The pump was fitted and to date works fine 2 weeks in.

We ordered two replacement toilet seats which were late coming from Twyford. We were away when they came in and BHL held back the delivery. When we returned BHl had them delivered the same afternoon.

Failure from start to finish I'm sorry to say.
Ordered a new heating control unit which was showing as in stock, after 3 days I enquired about its whereabouts to be told that it would be dispatched by their supplier UPS that day. It failed to arrive the next day. 8 days after the order was placed a local factor rang me to say they had an order from BHL to deliver to me - I had already cancelled my order by this time.
On both occasions that I spoke to BHL the staff were helpful but their computer system kept going wrong and it took an age to sort something very simple.
I guess this is the danger of drop shipping, they are reliant on third parties and i suggest they should not show products as in stock if they don't have them.
A 3-5 day delivery is terrible for domestic UK service - next day has been industry standard for nearly 30 years now.
