I ordered a 3 meter full cassette awning on Sunday by Sunday evening I received communication regarding delivery and installation really quick response. It was delivered and installed on the Tuesday by Tony. He was excellent friendly took care of property and explained everything he was doing. Demonstrated the awning on how to operate it. Would highly recommend the company and Tony who installed it. Now all I need is the sun to come out to use it. Thank you very much for your great service

I had an unexpected issue with my Intelroll awning over the weekend and reported it on Sunday evening. I was genuinely impressed by how quickly the team responded and arranged replacement parts straight away. Their installer, Tony, came out today and completed the repair efficiently and professionally.

From raising the problem to having the awning fully fixed again took barely a day, which is remarkable. The communication was prompt, the support was helpful, and the repair work was carried out to a high standard. Really pleased with how quickly everything was resolved.

I felt compelled to leave this review as the service provided by this company was excellent. Communication was very clear and prompt throughout.
They use external tradespeople to fit their blinds, and it’s easy to see why. The gentleman who fitted our blinds was named Tony. He was excellent—professional, efficient, and very friendly.
If you’re getting your awning replaced or looking for a new one, I highly recommend this company.

Purchase and fitting experience was very good. Tony who fitted the awning took great care to get everything spot on. The awning looks premium quality but only time will tell whether its performance matches its looks.

Expensive but premium quality awning - Let down by installation.

Awning itself is very high quality, but I wouldn't expect anything less from a company charging £1,490.00 for an awning and an additional £150 for shipping (plus additions but I will come on to that). Worth noting here I ended up spending £2010 overall.

The first red flag by intelroll is that the company offer additional "add on" features which include Manufacturer Guarantee Extension (5 years), for a product that costs as much as this, I believe this should come as standard.

Unfortunately, my experience was let down somewhat by the installer, Tony. Overall a very nice bloke who's work could not be faulted, despite maybe forgetting to tighten some of the screws on the handle (an easy fix) and a lack of tidying up.

Where I believe Tony took liberties was suggesting I needed to purchase a 3rd wall bracket for my awning, initially quoting me £140 "if I order directly from intelroll", but reducing it by (and I quote) "£40, maybe £30" if I purchased via him? Tony then quoted me £90 and eventually settled at £80? I'm not a professional awning installer, but if the awning requires 3 brackets, and only comes with two brackets, that's a Intelroll problem, not a customer issue. Tony explained that because he had drilled the left hand bracket into the gaps between the bricks, it "may not be as strong", so suggested I purchase the extra bracket? Conveniently, Tony had one of these brackets ready in his van available for me to purchase with cash! Strangely Tony only offered a cash payment option - I wonder why that might be?

Looking back this all seems a little execisive for an awning that is only 3 meters wide and I felt somewhat pressured on the day to purchase the extra bracket. I feel like Tony perhaps prayed on the fact I didn't really know much about awning installations and so sold me something I did not need.

On the day, Tony also refused to take away any cardboard and packaging that came with the awning, again for a company charging £150 for delivery, £290 for installation, and the additional £80 for the extra bracket, you would think Tony would of been able to take away the cardboard. I am also somewhat surpsied that Tony was unable to hoover up or sweep away the brick dust after installation. It could be just me, but this is something basic I would expect from a installation of this type.

The company will no doubt come back with excuses such as "tony is a 3rd party installer" so not part of them, and point me to the "additional brackets may be required" jargon on their website, but this really wasn't something I thought I would even have to be thinking about for an awning as simple, and narrow as mine.

For confirmation, the company charged me £1,490 for the awning, £150 for delivery, £290 for installation and £80 for the additional awning. So for something that is advertised as costing £1490 on their website, actually ended up cost me £2010. Also, why the additional £150 delivery on top of the £290? Tony bought the awning with him! Or am I missing something?

Overall, the awning is fantastic quality and really shines above the rest in terms of look and functionality, but the companies pricing and somewhat shady pricing practises have left me with a sour taste in my mouth, leaving me unsure as to whether I would recommend this company to others.

Sad, as the product is excellent, but the money pinching was wild!

I wanted to update my original opinion after having more time with the product and support from Intelroll.

Initially, I had a few concerns and questions around setup and fine-tuning, which made me unsure at first. However, after proper installation and adjustments, the awning has proven to be a solid, well-built product that does exactly what it’s meant to do.

The quality for the price is genuinely good, especially compared to much more expensive brands. The cassette looks neat on the wall, the fabric feels durable, and the motor operates smoothly and quietly. Once the pitch was set correctly, everything worked as expected.

What really improved my overall experience was the follow-up support. Intelroll took the time to explain things properly and ensure the product was functioning as intended. That made a big difference and showed they do care about customer satisfaction.

I’m happy I gave it a bit of time and didn’t rush to judge too early. Based on my updated experience, I would recommend Intelroll to anyone looking for a reasonably priced retractable awning in the UK, as long as it’s installed and set up properly.

I purchased a 4.5m x 3m retractable awning from Intelroll in February 2025. I immediately had problems as the two central panels sag, causing water pooling. Despite multiple emails, the issues have not been resolved.

Based on my experience, potential customers should be aware of the poor quality of the product and that my concerns were ignored. I am now commencing action to pursue the matter through the Small Claims Court to recover the cost of the awning and installation

After doing my research I purchased a 3m x 4m awning from Intelroll 3 years ago and it was expertly fitted by Tony from the separate installation company. The total cost was about a third of the prices I was quoted by some other well-known companies. Recently I had an issue with one of the arms and, although outside the guarantee period, was offered a free replacement. Tony came again and did an excellent job fitting the new arm (this cost me £190). I’m very happy with the awning, the installers and the speedy and friendly responses from Intelroll.

I made the mistake of ordering via B&Q not knowing I could have got it 15% cheaper direct. Delivered quickly by 2 hefty blokes. It was only then that I realised that this is NOT a DIY job. I contacted Intelroll who could not have been more helpfull. Within days their installer turned up with the extra hardware required. (B&Q didn't tell me about extra brackets). An hour and a half later my Awning was professionally fitted and ready to use. Will recommend to others.

I spent quite a bit of time looking into this and was quite specific on the quality of product that I wanted. The product was easy to put up (hammer drill required into brick work) and looks great. Loved that the remote was already synched and was able to test within 90 minutes of starting. They even have a WhatsApp link for quick questions and respond very quickly. I used this and they sent me an individual video to rectify my issue with levelling. I even dropped a screw (which can't be found!) and have already sent me a replacement. The aftercare service is just as good as the product and will now be purchasing a second to go over our patio table. Great job guys from start to finish. Thank you

We recently had an awning supplied and fitted by intelroll, in these days of poor customer service it was refreshing to deal with a company as professional as Intelroll, everything has been perfect, from first contact to fitting took 5 days, Tony, the fitter was great, and a perfectionist! Really happy with my INT500 electric awning – it looks fantastic, feels super sturdy, and works like a charm. I love that I can stop it at any position, and the wind sensor adds that extra bit of safety and convenience.

I purchased the full cassette LED awning with acrylic fabric, and I’m honestly amazed by the quality. It looks sleek and modern, and the materials feel truly high-end. I previously had a PU fabric awning, but this time I decided to upgrade to acrylic — and the difference is unbelievable! It stays perfectly straight with no wrinkles, is super easy to clean, and just looks fantastic all the time.

Customer service was handled by Adrienn, who was like a technical expert — incredibly helpful and professional. She really knew her stuff and made everything easy.

As for installation, Tony came to do the job. He was polite, professional, and worked efficiently on his own. He even cleaned up after the job — everything was neat and tidy. Brilliant service all around!

Excellent product (retractable awning INT-500) with a fantastic price point, half the price of the German competition. The awning looks sleek, both opened and once retracted.
Most importantly, customer service was extremely helpful in helping us obtain the right awning and answered all our questions. The awning was delivered and up 3 days later!
