Great customer service
Great customer service. I ordered 2 beaded door curtains in natural, but one came in grey. I contacted Lee who is the manager of the internet department and he looked into it and arranged for a replacement. They were initially out of stock, but he kept me in the picture and finally one was dispatched to me.
Things do go wrong sometimes, but thats fine when its sorted as efficiently as this.

BHL trade in bad faith. Placed an order which they fulfilled via Wolseley at a higher price than I could have gotten directly.
Very short-sighted. Got a few extra quid but lost any repeat custom and word of mouth.

I've Had Delivery Issues
Good price, but on my item (a radiator), and unknown to me when I placed the order, they did not hold stock. They subsequently placed the order with Wolseley, who because they apparently also do not hold stock placed the order with the manufacturer. After ordering I noticed that BHL gave me a very wide delivery window of nearly a month. A day or so later I asked when the order was expected to be delivered and was given a 'firm' date of 9 days after placing the order. Fine I said and waited in on the day. No delivery came and no message from BHL. Called BHL and was given a new delivery date 7 days later, but was told sorry but it is all out of our hands!! I was told they are not set up to provide their customers with delivery info because they are not doing the shipping.
So draw your own conclusions. Good prices maybe, but be prepared for 'flexible' delivery information. Hopefully when I do get it there are no issues as so far BHL do not appear to be particularly interested in proactively engaging with their customers.
Coram shower door , good price & delivery
Coram shower door was well described and a good price. Delivery was prompt. Not due to be fitted for a while but I'm not expecting any problems.

Very Slow Delivery
Placed an order on Friday 19th May and the website stated I'd get the item by the following Friday at the latest. Next Friday came and went without delivery and it didn't turn up on Saturday. Emailed BHL who responded a few days later saying it'll be delivered Wednesday 31st (why not Tuesday?). Unfortunately I was at a funeral that day, but the item could have easily been left in a safe place. Wasn't delivered Thursday so emailed again and got a somewhat stroppy response. Item eventually turned up Friday. So basically it took two weeks to arrive and cost me over £6 for delivery. Not good.

After hunting high and low online for a replacement toilet pan I finally found BHL, who had one in stock.
Ordered, paid for and delivered in less than a week with express delivery if required.

Awful experience with the 3rd party supplied they used
I hadn’t realised delivery was outsourced, driver made one attempt to deliver didn’t leave a calling card or way to contact, no re delivery attempt was made until contacted bhl to enquire and then they attempted again. Item arrived missing parts and again getting the replacement parts sent was difficult, and still have parts missing but don’t have time to wait another week as project already delayed by more than two weeks. BHL were helpful when I contacted them but they need to use better 3rd party suppliers to take on their orders on their behalf
