Very helpful and prompt service
Very helpful, from walking off the street to sending someone round next day to measure and date booked in to fit it in a 2 week time period, taking hassle out of having to get carpet fitters as well, looking forward to job being completed

We needed a cheap carpet to replace one…
We needed a cheap carpet to replace one in a flat we rent out. Carpetright had one in stock that was adequate and they could fit it two days later. However there were hidden costs (Fitting Arrangement Service £40.50, Preparation & Delivery Package £39.99) which I consider should be incuded in the fitting charge of £145.80. They also charged for 4 cans of spray adhesive at £55.96. Screwfix sell similar spray adhesive for £4.99, and for the size of the carpet I believe it needed less than 2 cans. The lesson is not to use their fitting service.

Terrible customer service
The male shop assistant that served me wasn’t particularly helpful, I found him uninterested in what I was saying, not helpful in showing me different carpets and not trying to be pleasant in anyway. I do not plan to shop there again. He needs to realise that he is not the only carpet shop I will go elsewhere in future

Reading Store could learn something from Bracknell
Everything went seamless in the Bracknell store compared to the circus we had in Reading. It was all smooth and plain sailing in ordering the carpet we wanted , none of the well we can have this but it will take longer to get bits from the north , then to newbury , then this and then that which we had in Reading!! Highly recommend using the Bracknell store and will be back when we look at other rooms to be done for sure!
