LC4 Nightmare Driver!
Travel on the Fleckney to Harborough bus at least once a week.
On the whole a good service and the drivers mainly fine.
Unfortunately there is one driver who is the most ignorant driver ever.
Expelled from The Gestapo for Cruelty.
He looks at you like you are dirt .
He does not acknowledge you getting on or off the bus.
He left an elderly woman unsteady on her feet to board alone.
He was muttering about her holding up the bus to himself.
Myself and another passenger, both of us in our sixties had to get up and help the woman onto the bus.
He never offered to put the ramp down to assist help get on with her Sholley.
We managed to get the elderly woman on .The woman showed her pass and he shouted at her where are you going.
He never thanked us for helping the woman or offered any assistance when the woman was getting off.
He to me is ageist and has a problem with older people even though he is not that young.
He should not be allowed near the public because the job is not just about driving.
It is a community bus serving villages between Fleckney and Harborough.
Several passengers have commented to me on his passive aggressive manner that shows a contempt for the passengers.
He also does not park close to the curb so always a step up and down.
He needs taking off work with the public for retraining.
Passengers are not an optional extra they are the reason for the service.
Such a shame because without this awful man rate you a five.

A free bus that doesn't arrive?
There is no point having a free bus service if the bus doesn't turn up at the bus stop. 230 completely bypassed Luton Airport Parkway station. On the live route it looks like the bus went straight to the town centre. The bus runs every hour and I have to either pay for a cab home or wait another hour for the bus. I can't even be sure it will bypass Luton Airport Parkway again. Updates if the bus isn't stopping at a designated stop on the route, should be put on the website. Not impressed.

Technology in charge, and is stupid!
Just got on the 315 at the Frythe in Wilshere Park, Welwyn. Message came up inside at the front of the bus. "The next stop is the Frythe which is the end of the present journey. Thank you for travelling with us."
However the sign kept coming up again and again during my own journey. Nowhere near the Frythe. Technology in charge. It made me remember the existence of bus conductors many years ago. They were helpful and friendly. Today we only have technology. Which is often stupid!
154 service
I have today complained about the 154 bus service from Loughborough missing out Cropston village once again. This was a regular occurrence in the past but we thought things had improved.
While waiting for the bus a very pleasant driver travelling on the reverse service stopped to inform us that he had just passed our bus on time in Thurcaston village indicating that the short cut from Swithland had been taken once again,
On reporting this the explanation given just didn’t make sense and was contradictory to the information given by the other driver,
Believe who you will but hopefully we don’t return back to bad old days when our service was totally unreliable.
NEVER TRAVEL ON CENTREBUS
i get the bus nearly everyday. The bus was about 20 minutes late. There was an awful driver who went 55 MPH on a 30 MPH road. He was very rude to somebody on the bus who didn't hear an instruction and was standing up and he stopped the bus for 5 minutes screaming at him. I was kicked off the bus because i had a fault with my ticket which declined so i had to wait 15 minutes for the next bus. i pressed the bell but i didn't hear it so i pressed it again and he told me to stop pressing the bell so he clearly knew i wanted to get off he missed my stop and had to walk about 30 minutes to get where i was supposed to be. The bus CRASHED into a poll then became ryanair and went over a speed bump at 60 MPH and nearly went flying. then swore when kids when on board.
they are always late they were once 1 hour and 20 minutes late and didn't bother to take me into school and i got told off for being late. every time i travel with them its awful.
i will make sure i will get stagecoach home from now on centrebus are the worst bus company i have ever been on
Appalling customer service, not an isolated incident
I catch a bus at the frequency of once a year to the railway station to catch a train. This evening ,I was treated disrespectfully by Driver 3434, who overcharged me and refused to give me a ticket, even though I had paid him. He did the same to me last year , he said I should have asked for a ticket , if that was the etiquette , why was the morning driver polite and helpful and issued a ticket without me having to ask. He then had the utmost patience at another stop & stopped to exchange banter to someone of his own culture through the doors of the bus, the male person he spoke to was not even a passenger, it was someone at a cash machine where the bus had stopped to let people off. As I departed at my stop ,I acknowledged that he may have had a long day and that it was really hot,( although he did not appear to be affected in any way , probably due to air conditioning in the cab?). He denied the earlier conversation with me , his behaviour incensed me. His culture is known to treat women disrespectfully .He needs to be reminded about good customer service and respect. He has severely let his decent colleagues down. Unacceptable behaviour. I am looking forward to discuss this with management .

Useless service and horrible responses
I brought a return ticket for both my self and sister on the 30th April at 9:43 and asked the driver when we got off the bus what time he'd be at the bus station for which he told me 15:05 which I didn't know was the wrong time till asked another member of staff where the bus was and it had already gone.
I rang the company and got told to put it all in an email so I did with the tickets attached not realising the driver had gave me the wrong ticket as well so instead of it saying that we got off at the bus station it said carlton de moorland so technically there was no proof we got off at the station which I get but this was all the drivers fault and he's now got away with it and I didn't receive a refund.
Ever since this bus has changed from PC coaches to centre bus it's been useless with timings and on one account where it didn't turn up at all so I rang the company and there was no driver available for that day but nothing on the website to tell people.

MC2 Service in Melton Mowbray is horrendous, late every day, bus should be on time on every stop, not talking about 1-2 minutes, today it's 12 and not caused because of traffic. Sometime there is no service at all, and no info, and quite often bus doesn't appear on tracker. So if you planning that your kid will be dependant from this and will choose this form if transportation will be disappointed on daily basis.

Today morning at 8.05 me and my son at the bus stop and just crossing the road and the bus stand on stop,we both are requesting him but the very rude bus driver didn't respond and my son was late for school.

324 Bus from Salisbury Rd at 6.45am to Welwyn Garden City Bus Station this morning ! Met a lovely and smiling bus driver who asked me how my morning had been! My morning was good so far but he made it great! It’s so nice to see a bus driver take the time to smile and have a pleasant chat, especially in the busy times we live in and on a wet and rainy morning! Shout out to his great customer service!

Centrebus run The Hop service in Leicester. It is a free bus that drives around the city centre. Buses are always clean, nearly always on time (it is a city centre so traffic holdups can be expected) and it is a fantastic service for the city to have.
