AVOID IF POSSIBLE!! I sincerely believe the business model of this company is to promise a fast delivery (supposedly two days) so that you fall on the trap of ordering from them instead of the many other options available at the same price, and then simply not fulfilling their promises with out of stock and delivery issues that are not real.
I ordered a Kamado Joe BBQ that was supposed to arrive in two days. I was contacted on the day in which was supposed to arrive saying that it was out of stock (although the web page continued showing that the BBQ was on stock). At the same time they created a promotion that said that you would receive a free DoJoe with any delivery. I asked if this would be also the case for my order and that if not I would have rather cancelled and order again, to classify for the promotion. I was begged not to cancel and promised the DoJoe. It is going to be 2 months since I first ordered next week, and I have still not received the DoJoe (the BBQ arrived 3 weeks after promised).
Dealing with this company has been a complete nightmare, they are unresponsive and unprofessional, I should have ordered from somewhere else and would have been enjoying my order for months!!

I genuinely regret ordering from Direct Stoves. I spent nearly £3,000 based on what I now know were blatantly misleading claims on their website.
The items I ordered were clearly marked as “in stock” with 48-hour delivery—a major selling point. I placed my order expecting prompt fulfilment. Instead, I received a damaged barbecue and was later informed that several key items (worth hundreds of pounds) were not actually available, despite the website still showing them as in stock weeks later. Even now, they continue to advertise these items as available, when they’re clearly not. This isn’t just incompetence—it’s false advertising.
To make matters worse, they offered a refund based only on a discounted price, despite the fact that I will now have to source the missing items individually at full cost, because the original bundle can’t be re-purchased in full. When I raised this legitimate financial loss and the blatant misrepresentation, I was met with corporate excuses, denial, and dismissiveness.
I’ve wasted time, money, and energy chasing something that should’ve been straightforward. I’ve lodged a formal complaint with the finance provider under Section 75, and I’ll be reporting them to Trading Standards and the ASA for misleading advertising.
Avoid Direct Stoves. The slick website hides appalling service, misleading practices, and a complete lack of accountability. Shop elsewhere unless you want stress, delays, and disappointment.

Nice product. Good communication with Direct Stoves, however stove came from a third party supplier who were not good at communicating. Stove arrived without warning from delivery company. Also 1 litre of fuel not included as advertised and “matching “ spigot was black with a can of spray paint to paint it yourself- not acceptable at the price of unit. Finally the set up instructions were incredibly hard to find on the manufacturers website. I suspect these issues are more with the manufacturers than Direct Stoves, but they might want to raise them with the suppliers.

Bought two Firefox stoves. One was purchased Dec 2024 and fitted Dec 2024. The other was bought and fitted Jan 2025. That makes them 3 and 4 months old. Both stoves are rusting. I expect new stoves to last years, not months!
The first person I spoke to was not interested
The second person was ok and gave me an email.
I emailed and they keep coming up with lots of excuses with why they will rust and told me to paint them! They are new stoves!
There is no condensation. All I am given is excuses for why stoves rust. These are newly fitted stoves they look terrible
I have spoken to people who have had stoves for years that have not rusted.

Large selection of stoves to choose from for every budget, size and style.
Very helpful customer service. Any email correspondence was answered often within hours of sending.
Quick delivery with updates from the driver regarding arrival time.
Overall very happy with my stove. Looks great. Provides a great heat, so much so that I have to keep the living room door open or the room gets too hot.

Purchased a Stovax Stockton 5.
Unfortunately the first one had received serious damage in transit. The damage was so obvious I didn’t accept the delivery.
However, Direct Stoves customer service were spot on. No quibble and immediately despatched a replacement which to suit my diary was delivered one week later.
That is called stepping up to the mark. Well done Direct Stoves and thank you.

Using your website was an easy experience, Although we have yet to unpack the stove and fit it. The fire arrived well on time, at a good price. Disappointed with the delivery man who arrived without any prior arranged time or warning at 8.15am , I think he was having a bad day and wasn't very helpful.

The original stove I ordered had severe delays in manufacture, but in the end I re-ordered a smaller one which turned out to suit our situation perfectly. Once re-ordered it came quickly and was very well packed.
I also talked via email quite a lot with the sales team and they were extreemly helpful.

I have no complaints regarding the stove and we are enjoying using it. Unfortunately the delivery did not go as planned. The delivery date was arranged for 8th January. That day I received a text from my neighbour, who lives in a basement flat, saying that she had taken the delivery because the driver told her there was no answer at my house. But my wife and I were waiting all day and did not hear our doorbell or the door knocker. It is a loud RING doorbell so there's no way we could have missed it. My son and I subsequently had a tremendous struggle carrying the stove up two flights of stairs and we were not best pleased. I was planning to order a second stove for another room in the house but I am concerned about your delivery service.
