Paid for nominated day delivery but there were delays and some lack of response/communication BUT all issues were resolved and product arrived yesterday as further requested. Well packaged and good updates from delivery company. Thank you.

I ordered something for a birthday present, it wasn’t delivered on the day I requested and now the tracking link says it can’t be delivered. No communication from them at all

Have used this for several years, just a desert spoon per night. Romans took it to Spain and kept it secret -see charioteer on base of bottle. Romans left, but hidden copy of recipe was kept and remade when safe. I am so glad.

Managed to find a hard to get bottle of rum for a special gift. Excellent quick service and packaged really well. Very pleased.

Visited Laborie (in Paarl South Africa) last month after Janis Robinson had recommended their vintage blancs de blancs cap classique in the FT last year. Tasted and confirmed its excellent - one of the very best South African bubblies. Got home, found it at a very good price on Drinks Direct, ordered and a case came by return. Friends tasted it and have also ordered cases and experienced very good service

Awful customer service. Item arrived damaged - cracked and leaking. The presumption from the company was that this was caused by us. 2 emails later and they are still suggesting this was not a fault by them and would like the damaged bottle returned before any replacement or refund could be offered. They are now suggesting we out a broken bottle back in the packaging to return. Completely understand that this is not the company’s fault directly, but this is a matter for them to take up with the courier as currently we are money and item down.
We do not recommend.

Need to source a bottle of Crystal Rosé at very short notice husband's funeral no luck with local off-licenses so tried Drinks Direct. Bottle delivered on day of my choosing with one hour time slot. Superbly packaged. Handled with care. Even answer to telephone call when we asked how best to store such expensive champagne. Excellent service highly recommended.

Quick delivery, well packed and as described. I was skeptical after being disappointed by so many other service, but I would unreservedly recommend DrinksDirect. 10/10, would definitely buy from again.

Ordered a magnum of Rioja wine as a gift. Good value for a special wine and safety delivered within 48 hours. Fantastic service.

I wish there was an option to give them zero stars. I placed an order that couldn't be delivered despite my client being home that day as it was their birthday, I then had to pay a second dispatch charge, which I did. Only for nothing to happen for a month, when I enquired, I got his ridiculous response.
"When an additional payment is made in respect of an order, unfortunately, there is currently no indication in the orders system that that is the case and as such we require customers to email in to advise of an additional payment, when it is made.
I can see from email records that you emailed on 06 March to advise that you will pay for the additional redelivery charge, but I didn't find any email correspondence advising that the additional payment had been made on 12 March.”
They just blamed me for taking my money a second time, but then not letting them know that they have taken my money??
I understand that sometimes things go wrong, but for goodness sake take some ownership.

I have been dealing with DD since before lockdown. Having tried others, I rank them as the very best. Their range is huge, their prices are great and their delivery is superb. They even called that I had ordered a sherry that was not available (my fault) and offered a same-price alternative so that my order was not delayed. Brilliant.

Was worried ordering from here after some of the reviews but placed my order on Friday morning, order confirmed and dpd information provided same day, delivery was on Saturday and within the timeframe provided on the text message. Great service speedy delivery.

Ordered a selection of miniatures for my Grandma for her Christmas present on Friday evening. Super impressed that they have been delivered to me on Monday morning. Order all correct and extremely well packaged. I will definitely be back to buy her more for her birthday. First class!

I ordered 6 bottles of wine at 11:30 yesterday and received my order at 10:12 this morning. Exactly what I had ordered and beautifully packed. A first rate service as per previous orders, including deliveries to clients in different parts of the company.
Personally I have only had excellent service from this company.

Ordered a bottle of vodka for a surprise for a friend's 50th birthday. Put in my friend's name and address but instead of putting in my friend's postcode my own postcode was entered (my mistake). My mobile number was entered as I did not want my friend to receive any messages for this delivery.
Day of delivery came and somehow parcel was delivered to my address, without my address being on parcel, just my mobile number and postcode.
I emailed Drinks Direct to ask how this happened, they emailed back to say they would bring this up with the courier, have emailed again to ask if they received anything, no response from Drinks Direct.
The parcel was delivered to the correct recipient by myself but if I wanted to give them a bottle myself I would have gone to the supermarket.
Poor customer service, Drinks Direct!

The whole point was to surprise my mum with her favourite wine and they ruined the experience! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Awful wine did not taste authentic company’s return policy is impossible and flawed. They make it as difficult as they can to get tour money back DO NOT USE GO ELSEWHERE
