We started using easyfundraising as a way to raise some money for the football club, it is super easy to set up and the Fundraising specialist team were brilliant at offering help to up the numbers signed up and giving us info to send out 👍🏼

I've made several purchases through the app. Not one has been paid and only 1 shows as pending. I've had to chase every purchase and have just received a standard email to say that they don't investigate any claims for 21 days and that you have to contact them if the payment appears in the meantime.

This might be easy for the charity (as shown by the glowing responses from charities) but really frustrating and time consuming for people trying to donate. Charities must be missing out on potential donations as people just get frustrated trying to donate. I'm seriously reconsidering using the app as it's just too time-consuming and so far pointless.

Easyfundraising is a great way to raise funds for our charity. Not only is it a really easy system to use but the Fundraising Specialist Team have your back and work with you to find more ways to gain supporters! A big shout out to Clare who contacted me recently 👍🏼

Easyfundraising is great and I'm glad money can be raised so easily for good causes. I'm new to signing up to raise money for my cause and I was faced with a bit of uncertainty and confusion while navigating the website but it was so easy to contact the fundraising specialist team, who have been really helpful and have rectified any issues. I appreciate the support offered as and when needed.

I have been trying to donate through Sainsburys for months. However, despite tapping the donation button and seeing the confirmation message, when I checkout, there is no donation added on the easyfundraising page. I have raised this with easyfundraising on several occasions and all I receive is a message telling me the donation can take a few days. Clearly this is not the case as this has been happening for approx. four to five months and the transactions are not shown as pending. I have only managed to get one donation from another website if I accept all cookies. This isn’t an ideal position to be in either. Sadly I am not impressed with easyfundraising and it certainly doesn’t live up to its name.

After setting up our cause we had great support from their Specialist Fundraising Team. Top tips via emails and social media templates for getting our fundraising campaign started. I also had a support call with a member of the Specialist Fundraising Team who set up an incentive for us to raise more money for our cause which gave me the confidence to publicise our cause over social media and increase the number of registered supporters by 200% within 2 weeks. So far, so good 👍 Thank you

Great idea but I reckon only 25% of my eligible purchases register on Easy Funding. I’ve got a list of unpaid claims as long as my arm - interestingly, it’s always the large purchases that fail to attract a donation.
I have the Easy Fundraising browser extension and go through the Easy Fundraising app, but it’s more often than not futile as l the flakey process is unreliable. Even registering a missing claim is essentially pointless as they take 6 months to even respond.
I discovered today that a prerequisite in order to allegedly improve the likelihood of a successful donation, is to disable all ad-blockers, clear all cookies, and disable any cross-tracking prevention settings on your browser (an excellent feature of Safari to stop your data being spread across websites and apps).
This discovery renders the whole ‘charity’ rather sinister and a bit of a ruse.
In short, they might make a donation, but they want you to reduce your privacy protection so websites and apps can pry on your activity and target you more than they already do. No thanks - needs investigating by a regulator.

My experience with the specialist fundraising team was fantastic. They helped me to narrow down what our non-profit should focus on raising funds for, and emailed lot's of top tips to help increase awareness of the platform and how our followers can help us. Really appreciated the support.

The Fundraising Specialist Team have been great in supporting our cause, especially now when one Admin stepped down and a new one has taken over. Always answering questions quickly and offering advice to boost our cause. Very grateful.

PTA group

I started from scratch and had no idea how it worked but was given advice from the Fundraising Specialist Team and was kept well informed throughout through emails.

I thought this site was great, but am dismayed to find a donation from Avanti holiday insurance has been declined. Avanti tells me it hasn’t been declined by them.
So what happened to the Donation?

Thought this was great as had £50 raised for my cause. Today it just shows £30 a lot of entries have been declined. I don't think it should show what has been raised until the amounts have actually tracked.

I have been using Tesco Groceries the same way each week yet some get tracked and others get declined. It seems I am not the only one as another person left a review elsewhere and mentioned the same.

A big scam I won't be using them again.

My experience has been good so far, the team members are very kind and helpful.

It can be difficult to persuade people that something that is free is safe, simple to use and beneficial.
That was the challenge when I heard about easyfundraising but Jess and others in the specialist fundraising team really helped persuade our supporters to join this excellent scheme.
I never had to wait to contact an advisor and Jess set up a Zoom session that was effective in bringing others on board.
The team are ready to answer likely questions and are up-front about their profit-making organisation, which nevertheless helps local groups channel the donations that many companies give to charity toward their chosen cause.
