Claims department is shocking
Claims department is shocking. Admiral deal with it but i pay elephant !! Been insured with them for many years. Had claim in 2022 which was not handled well and I was owed 800 excess. 4 years later I get letter to say they will pay me under that amount and will take 28 days to process. I'm still waiting. Do not recommend them in event of claim accident you will be waiting years for it to get sorted. Not acceptable.

Didn't send me any proof of insurance. I specifically asked some paperwork to prove insurance but nothing received. Every time I tried to use online portal it never sent me registration email so just going around in circles

After being a customer for many years…
After being a customer for many years Elephant totally shafted me with my car insurance. Last year I paid £669 and this year my auto renewal price was £1368. Called up to renegotiate and they dropped the price to £1268. So by £100 ffs ?!? Utterly scandalous and so much for customer loyalty. Whilst logging into comparison websites I got contacted by a broker who got me car insurance for £553 with One Call . I would recommend anyone looking to try them . Thank you Elephant for showing me that customer loyalty means nothing to you . I won’t be coming back . Am sure I will get a response from Elephant saying oh they are so sorry that they couldn’t match the price blah blah blah. All lip service . Save me a response . You treat customers who have been loyal to you like shit . All you say is due to stats and costs etc - it’s nonsense. Your agents roll
Out the same verbal diarrhoea . I’m not paying extra for others who drive like idiots . Elephant are just not bothered and guess what neither am I . I couldn’t be happier . I just saved myself over £800 !
And there you see the weak reply . They aren’t bothered that they lose loyal customers . Beggars belief
