Cant recommend Enact enough. I remortgaged the house as part of a divorce and needed a transfer in equity also. Enact were very efficient. The communication was great and everything was easy to access via the portal. Honestly the best company I have dealt with throughout this whole process and just want to say a massive thank you!

Great remortgage experience
We recently had Enact handle our remortgage on a property. Our case owner Kelsey-Marie Uscroft has made it a smooth process. We had a couple of issues with our mortgage broker providing the wrong information and Kelsey-Marie sorted out amendments very quickly. The dashboard portal is clear and easy to use and the messaging function is very speedy. We have had a really positive experience using this company and would like to thank Kelsey-Marie for her professionalism.

Straightforward
All the conveyancing for my change of mortgage provider was done online. Very straightforward experience, I never had to phone anyone for further assistance. I was kept updated at every stage of the approval process.

Excellent service
My third time re-mortgaging and honestly this has been one of the smoothest transition with Enact Conveyancing. Excellent communication in person and also on the portal. I like the system that they use, the to do like, option to upload documents and the progress tracker which gives a countdown of the process. overall excellent service, professional and organise, I would definitely use them again .

Generally good service and responsive.
Only criticism is, despite having 4 months notice and receiving the money a week in advance from Santander, they were late paying the previous mortgage supplier, meaning we incurred a very large payment at the variable standard rate.
I’m sure that £500k with a weeks interest was good for their bank account though!

Last minute checks
Contacted us only a couple of days before completion to say that a page was missing from a document we submitted weeks if not months prior.
Not a competent service to be checking documents at the last moment.
We were on holiday at the time and this could have made it quite difficult to rectify the issue.
Additionally their online system is very cumbersome and notifies you constantly about things you don't need to act upon. When you do need to act on something it is hard to tell what specifically is needed and why.
I would not get a mortgage from anyone using Enact.

The worst conveyancing service I have…
The worst conveyancing service I have ever received or 'not received' I should say as so little done..completely useless. They have had my information since March 2026 and due to complete 2 weeks ago. On completion day, I raised a query as I hadn't heard anything and they said they can't complete as bank info forms missing. They had never been requested. I duly sent them over. As \i had not completed my name within the very small brackets provided, the form was insufficient. I sent a 2nd copy. As the colour ink was different , signatures in black and new copy signed in correct bracket space was blue, this was not sufficient and had to be the same. I sent a 3rd copy. Complete, yes? NO!!!!
A week later, no completion. My mortgage broker has contacted them several times to see where things are. Apparently completion within a day or 2. TWO weeks later still nothing.
I informed my broker. She explains have spoken with them and this should be complete now. BUT NO!!
I raised the enquiry with them. What is happening??
They are waiting for my id to be sent through...WTF?? What are they talking about?! They have my life information and no-one has said anything to me in the last 2 weeks this was required now. I asked why now- the alleged legal assistant says she has only just been given the case..what do you mean? It has been sitting there for 2 weeks with no-one doing anything? Apparently, lots of people handle the case but equally, apparently none of them do anything!!! I adhered to their request and tried to access the useless case tracker system. Says I don't exist. Tried to reset a password in case I had mistakenly forgotten mine. No , I don't exist..Called them back again.. it doesn't work. Can I send elsewhere? yes, to a different email. Why not tell me that to begin with..when can I expect completion? Earliest. maybe Wednesday next week..wtf do you mean 'maybe next week'...??? Simple fact, I am at their mercy. They are useless, unhelpful and I would never recommend to anyone to engage
with. Mortgage brokers beware...
