Great experience, easy web portal, responsive and helpful

Smooth experience with a great web portal where you can see the progress of your remortgage and download documents or fill in the forms that they need. The whole process was clear and transparent, plus the messaging system was useful for when we needed to clarify things. I found the staff to be responsive and helpful, both online and on the phone; we were mostly helped by Phoebe who provided great customer service.

Highly recommend Enact

Being a panel conveyancer that my bank used I was dubious about service I’d receive. However, having now completed on my mortgage and legalities taken care of, I can’t speak highly enough if the service received. Megan and the team at Enact have been professional, courteous and quick throughout keeping me up to date with progress. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

They handled our case well. It was quite apparent that they have a streamlined process, even though there were slight communication glitches on a few occasions. That aside, I was generally happy with their work, so if I had to start over, I would still choose them.

Slow, impersonal, poor communication

Enact case workers hide behind a customer services chat function who reel of excuses, rather than getting actions completed. The case worker ignores your direct messages. The are INCREDIBLY slow to action things, with days and weeks where nothing happens. There is no proactive communication, and you have to chase for everything to be done. You are on a conveyor belt with this company and every time an action is completed you go back to the bottom of the pile. The website says "our streamlined processes and advanced technologies mean we can usually move as fast as you want to." Nothing could be further from the truth. We are at six weeks now. The back end of the 4-6 weeks average, and still don't have a completion date.

Painless conveyancing!

Enact made the conveyancing process very straightforward. Their portal was easy to use and the were responsive via the online chat and over the phone. Conveyancing is never entirely straightforward but enact made it relatively painless!

You just have to look at enact 1 star reviews, they are the worst company that I have ever dealt with totally incompetent rude I have no dear how trust pilot rate them 4 star , I rate them minus 10 star !!!!!! Don’t use them I didn’t have a choice

Great communication and commendable experience.

Enact maintained communication all through the process and made it less stressful. I was updated and informed through all the steps and my queries were answered promptly.
The service is commendable and the application was intuitive and user friendly.

Where do I start. Totally disfunctional and incompetent service.I must point out from the start that I do not normally chase people for updates, but I’ve had to with these.Silly little things that you as the customer send off at their request are firstly not even acknowledged as been received and secondly if they find a fictitious problem with it they take weeks ( literally) to reply to it. Why is it that as a customer you have to instigate contact and be told somethings not right from two weeks earlier.Still waiting completion as I write. This is 3 weeks after all documents/ Tasks were completed on this childish app. Have just been asked clarification on an address issue that was answered 3 weeks ago. You really can’t make it up. Thought twice about posting this review and there unprofessional response to it but it can’t make things any worse…… or can it. ?

easy to use system and friendly, professional staff

Needs a bit more of a human touch …

It went through well the whole process not being very tech savvy. I tried to contact the company and my case handler sometimes but it was hard to get hold of a human to just sayam I doing this right have u got everything
