A wide range of foodstuff and all sorts of other things! Customer service people are lovely and everything arrives securely wrapped and in good condition. You get points that add up to money off too.

I returned White Stuff organic Lulu Fairisle cardigan which cost £48.95 as it was a thinner yarn than I had expected. The instructions are to get proof of postage from the Post Office. The return address was Ethical Superstore Returns, PO Box 1000, Gateshead NE85 2 BS On the Royal Mail’s tracking system it says ‘recipient not at address. Returned to sender.
It has not been returned to me and Royal Mail response has been
‘If there’s no sender’s address and the item is worth £50.00 or less, we’re unable to store it and so it’s disposed of by our National Returns Centre’
The maximum refund Royal Mail gives is £20 plus postage so under half its value.
I suggest Ethical Superstore changes its returns advice and advises customers to get more than proof of posting if the item is worth more than £20.

The website glitched which resulted in my account being charged without the order going through. The customer service representative was extremely unhelpful and I am still dealing with the problem via my bank. Will not use again.

After making an order over £70 to get the £10 discount and free delivery, one of the items was the wrong size and was out of stock, anyway. So I ordered a different size for this item and had to pay a delivery charge for it. Furthermore, Ethical Superstore deducted £10 off the refund of the original item, because the first order was now under £70, even though I ordered the revised item taking my total order over £70. How petty and how unethical. I’ll not be ordering from Ethical Superstore again.

The glasses I ordered are for a gift so I have not used them. Ordering them was very easy on the Ethicalsuperstore site. I was kept informed of delivery and found this site very friendly and helpful. I would order from them again.

I will never buy from them again. Bought some staff and after 3 delivery attempts Evri sent it back to them. Fine... I contacted customer service and asked if I can change the address and the answer was no, because Pay Pal requires the order to be delivered to the address they have provided. Understand. Then I sked for a refund and this is when all my trouble started. It's been more then a month, and several emails were sent and nothing. They will reply and say that they contacted accounts team and asked to make a refund asap, and nothing will happen. The very last email was ignored and nobody bothered to replied to me. I still didn't get my money back and they most likely sold staff that was returned to them to someone else. How unfair is that.

My interactions, thus far, indicate the Customer Service are not too ethical afterall.
Fervently hope products are genuine and not fakes, as I am still awaiting the delivery. This is 1st time I used this retailer.

I bought some expensive bedsheets from Ethical Superstore, which when they arrived had a very synthetic silk feel. I knew immediately they were not what I wanted. I did not use them. So I repackaged them and called to get a returns address, only to be told that as I had opened the box, I couldn't return them. How on earth is anyone supposed to know whether a product is right for them when shopping online if they can't open the box without invalidating their right to return. Really wanted to like this store as it's hard to find ethical retailers, but it seems their ethics don't extend as far as their customers.

Truly exceptional customer service received.

Two years ago I ordered a bokashi bin set. I phoned up last week to ask if it would be possible to purchase some replacement lids as mine had now cracked. Very polite person on the phone said they would contact the manufacturer to see if they could be bought separately and get back to me.

Got home today to find a package with two replacement lids inside. Thank you so much for sorting this!
