They sent the. fabric to the wrong address and would not reimburse me or send me new fabric.

Several years ago, this was an excellent fabric resource! Not so much anymore. They're selling quilt fabric, and less than trust worthy brands. Not to mention the prices are on par with retail and Etsy. Not a deal anymore, and certainly not a deal for 'off register' or seconds.

I think the Guru has burned out of juice. Try Nick of Time, or any in North Carolina, a sale at Hovby Lobby would be better.

Having not ordered through Fabric Guru before, I read reviews and realized that others were just as hesitant as myself given the number of scams out there. I took a chance and was so pleased, that I wanted to let others know how good my experience was. I ordered 3 different fabrics of 8 yards each. One of them was discontinued and my local fabric store didn't have any more and couldn't get it. Customer Service contacted me to let me know that they didn't have the 8 yds I needed on one bolt, but rather 2 cuts that would make the yardage I needed. They wanted to make sure I approved and was okay with that. I expected that it would take awhile to receive and again, I was surprised that it arrived within days. The fabric arrived on individual bolts wrapped nicely and secured as though I just picked them up from the store. This was a great experience and I recommend them highly. I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to make sure that I shared my experience!

The fabric I purchased was sent with permanent black sharpie writing on it with a big red stain in the middle. None of this was shown in the online photos or was in the description. It’s unusable. Had also received fabric from them recently that was nowhere near the yardage as advertised. Looks like something is going wrong there.

My advise is to be careful when you order your fabric from there. Make sure that you don't alter the fabric in any way because there is no refund even if the fabric is 2nd quality. As of this writing, do not purchase Magnolia Home in Pisa Sky--the pattern on 6 inches of the sides is grossly uneven and impossible to line up. Also you cannot rely on its sample photos--bright lights can cause a huge mistake in your project, especially if it's a remnant and no sample can be ordered.

Fabricguru communicated well from start to delivery. The yardage arrived exactly as ordered, in one full cut, clean and neatly folded. Will definitely order again.

Ordered Fabric and it was molded/damaged and SEE THROUGH for an outdoor fabric. Horrible customer service as well.

I placed a large order on Monday, after calling CS to ensure the fabric was in stock. She explained to me, that she would review the fabric personally.
Placed the order Monday, got confirmation of receiving my order.
Tuesday I got an email verifying the stock and I had a last chance to edit my order at that time.
Wednesday I got shipping confirmation and Friday I received a very well packed, exactly right order.
What ever the low scoring reviews are based upon, I don’t know…but we had an absolutely awesome experience and I will gladly do business again with Fabric Guru. They have their act together.

I had been to several local fabric stores to try to order 3 yards of Kaufmann fabric but they had large order minimums. I was able to order 3 yards at FabricGuru for a lower price and fabric arrived as expected. Great experience!

Two sample fabrics ordered looked nothing like the photos on the site. The fabrics were visually represented as velvety matte but were, in person, shiny and cheap looking. Customer service refused a refund and said that everyone should know polyester is shiny!! I've successfully ordered before from FG but in the future will likely find another discount designer fanric purveyor. If you use FG, do notorder without first getting samples --and be prepared to lose that investment!

Fabric arrived not as described. Should be 54" wide. Customer service rep argued with me that this has never happened before. She repeatedly told me that it should be 54" X 36" (I ordered a yard). Yes, I know that. Fabric was not 54" wide. And the quality of the fabric was very disappointing. I wasted my money on this company and I won't do that again.

My first time ordering I received my remnant quickly, but it was much less yardage than stated on the website. I received a reply and a generous resolution within 24 hrs of my email. I would order from them again.

I have been a customer of Fabric Guru for 3 years, and have been delighted with both their fabrics and service. Like any site, there have been a few misses, but the customer service department was quick and professional in resolving any issues I had. I am a huge fan!! I do wish the website was more user friendly, but somehow still manage to find loads of wonderful fabrics at great prices, so it's clearly serving its purpose! Great job Fabric Guru! I only wish I could visit!!! :)

RUN RUN RUN from this web site, They claim they had 100 yards of fabric on hand. When placing my order they claim they had it charged my CC ASAP, after 2 wks no fabric. Funny they did not have any in stock and waiting for it but was told it could be weeks.... Life must be tough to lie about having stock billing the cust.... Horrible cust service!!!

Excellent quality, unmatched selection, and quick service! FabricGuru Is my go-to source for decorator fabrics, and consistently exceeds my expectations.

I ordered 2 yards of fabric and my card was immediately charged. But two months later I still have no fabric! Numerous phone calls and emails have not been responded to. I did talk to someone once who said it was on backorder. That was a month ago. Now I'm getting no answers at all. Buyer beware!!!!

I have ordered 4 or 5 times from Fabricguru.com and have overall been pleased. The quality of the fabrics and the prices make some of the annoyances worthwhile.
Positives: the fabrics are high quality and in excellent condition.
The prices are usually very good, especially on sale and clearance goods.

The not so good:
The fabric descriptions are cut and pasted in the website and usually not very descriptive. For example, they rarely include comprehensive fabric content or weight information. Fabric maker is hit or miss.
The website search is limited and doesn't work well. For example, no way to sort by yardage available, and the price sort is sketchy because some goods are sold by the piece (entire remnant eg 10 yards) and others are per yard. It would be better to list all prices by yard and flag which ones are order able by yard vs the whole piece.
I received the wrong item once and it was a hassle to get hold of someone to return it. It ended up being close enough to what I needed so I just kept it.
Overall I'm happy and will keep coming back.
