Strong customer care
My advisor Lily was very good at going out of her way find out extra info for an akward situation and far more prompt and considerate of my time and availability, and almost concerningly punctual, if yoh asked to be called at 5pm you will be getting called at 5pm on the dot.

Started off really well and positive
Started off really well and positive, very reassuring to the point off listed our home and excepted a sale to making an offer on our next property which was expected. Solicitors instructed, surveys done, all going at a good pace, mortgage in principle granted which give us the confidence to proceed then came additional requests for further bank statements and other financial statements, why now at this stage? The mortgage offer was then withdrawn, appreciate our credit position wasn’t the best hence the reason we were directed to these advisors. We were left in very uncomfortable situation off letting people down who thought they had secured our house and the vendor we had to let down, that was the worst part in all this. Not too mention the thousands off pounds we lost in all of this and it was all down to miss sold mortgage in principle and a very poor advisor Kopi Kovacs. Do not use this company, even more disappointing that this was a referral from the rightmove website, maybe would not have pursued this avenue if not directed to.

We’re sorry if the timelines and stages involved in your chosen lender’s underwriting process were not made fully clear from the outset. Mortgage lending decisions can sometimes change following full underwriting and additional checks requested directly by the lender. We understand this does not lessen the frustration and stress caused to you.
We’re also sorry to hear you were unhappy with the service received and appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. Feedback such as this is taken seriously and reviewed internally as part of our commitment to improving both communication and client experience.

While their communication has been…
While their communication has been good, it has not been a positive experience with Finamply for the following reasons:
1. Mistakes
Mistakes by Finamply included:
- the AIP we were sent was the wrong figure
- we were told our Solicitor wasn't on the lenders framework (more details below)
- we were told the incorrect fee, twice.
- we were invoiced the full fee at application stage, which wasn't the agreement
- we weren't able to get an offer letter from the bank that had both the correct house address, and correct solicitors details on so have ended up having to sort this out ourselves
All were corrected and in isolation not too big an issue, but when every piece of information you receive is wrong it gets quite draining, especially when several mistakes are increasing their own fee. It's not ok to issue an email with several long documents with an instruction to check them thoroughly, one of which is a fee agreement with the fee stated incorrectly...
2. Pressure to change Solicitor
I did not like Finamplys communication regarding our chosen solicitor which included two emails containing misleading/incorrect information.
Before the application we received a last minute email saying our solicitor was not on Natwest's framework and it was the only thing holding up the application, do we have someone else or would we like them to arrange someone for us.
When I copied in our solicitor (ONP), Finamply told them they had searched for the company name 'Stockport Solicitors which is the information Joe gave me'.
This was just not true, I have never referred to ONP by the name 'Stockport Solicitors' and the email before she had referred to ONP so was well aware of the company name.
When I queried this she responded to say 'that's why we sought to reconfirm the details'. Again, this was not true. They did not try to clarify details with us, they told us we needed to find someone else.
I do not appreciate trying to be pressured into changing our solicitors and the communication was at best incompetent, and at worst deliberately deceptive.
We paid money to Finamply to manage the process for us and reduce our stress. It would have been easier and less stressful using someone else, or just do an application ourselves. The positives have been that they are at least good communicators and corrected their mistakes which is why they get 2 stars.
Hopefully this review serves as motivation to increase their consideration before issuing information / providing advice.

amazing service
We had been told by many brokers that we could not secure a mortgage, so we lost most of our hope in the process. However, despite all the negative Katie and Yasmine worked wonders and managed to secure us the mortgage we needed. We cannot thank them enough for helping us with this. I have the best customer service with Jack and Hana
I have the best customer service with Jack, as my first point of contact followed by Hana. Jack has been readily available on a daily and at times hourly basis. He’s provided professional support to myself and made the process of securing a mortgage an “anxious” free experience.
