Had taken my 2014 Golf for a service today in the Doncaster store which I had booked online. On collection I was handed my service book and a piece of paper alongside my key. I mistakenly believed that they would have stamped and completed the service book due to them having this with them on my return, however when I got home and checked this, there was no new completed service stamp and the paper she handed me had no indication of whether the checks had been completed or not and no signature or name of technician on the piece of paper. I could have completed this myself and printed which could raise a query of whether this is valid on selling my car. It is not even on letter headed paper.

Would not use this company again, feel like I have wasted £148.

I took my vehicle for a full service, Mark the manager was extremely helpful and kept me informed through the morning and explained everything I needed to know about the work that needed to be done on the vehicle. He got the parts the same day and got the car ready for me before midday which was fantastic! Overall I am very pleased with the experience, the work on the car and the service provided and I will be sure to use this garage again.

I booked a service at the Aylesbury centre for my hybrid, having read on the F1auto website how they have specialiat hybrid technicians. The appointment and the detail of a hybrid service was confirmed by email and I rang the day before to confirm. On arrival for my appointment I was informed that this branch NEVER does hybrid servicing and they could not help, thus wasting half a day of my time through sheer incompetence. Go to Halfords round the corner.

Overcharged for parts had mot and service done told coil springs needed changing to pass mot said go ahead. Really expensive compared to Halfords for the parts. Won’t be going back after taking car there for 6 years.

I recently order tyres online, supplied all of my vehicle details, arrived at the fitting station at the pre arranged time only to be told that they could not fit my tyres due to equipment failure/lack of. No option of visiting another centre was given so I requested my money back. as the customer service centre is closed on the weekend I sent an email, I then followed up on the Monday to confirm a refund had been made....Checked my bank statement this morning...to my surprise nearly 600£ had been taken.

I have used F1 Autocentre on Watford Road Harrow for a number of years now and have purchased several sets of tyres and now a new battery.

The service and pricing is amzaing, the staff are very considerate and obliging. To be honest, I would go nowhere else for my tyres and batteries and I recommend everyone else does the same.

It is always a pleasure to visit the outlet and be treated as someone special.

Attended my local centre as I needed a tyre quick. Dropped off the wheel, so that I could collect when done.

Turned up after the time allocated and found that they had put the wrong tyre on. They had placed a budget tyre on it after discussing I wanted their "cooper" brand as they hadn't got the Branded tyre for a like for like.

I then got attitude from the counter staff telling me he actioned what I asked of him. This is after he recollected our conversation regarding what "cooper" actually were, and that I wanted the closest match for what was on there already.

I then had to wait for them to rectify their mistake, and wait around in the waiting area, a bleak, un welcoming place. After a short wait, I drove away with my new tyre.

However, there was a wobble from the wheel when i put it back onnthe vehicle' pointing to it not being balanced.

I then took it back the following weekend for them to rectify this mistake. This is when I spoke to the unit manager, rather course lady, you told me I would have to wait an hour and a half.

I stated it wasn't great customer service, and I would like to speak to a manager. She proudly proclaimed that "she was the manager", and she didn't know the "ins and outs of it".

I stated that I had just explained the situation to you, and a manager would then take ownership and try to make good. At this point I asked for her managers number.. She replied, "you can speak to customer care, but I don't give out my managers details. Their number is on the poster in the waiting area".

After taking a photo of their customer care line, I then walked out into the reception area again, telling a customer who just came in to "go somewhere more competent".

Then the manager states "well, I was going to do it myself, but if you want to go somewhere else?". I just want you to fo the job I asked you to do last weekend", I replied.

"Well I will just get on it then".

She then came out, took my key and drove into the bay. After a few minutes, she came out and said "yeah it was out by 10%, so a weight must have come off".

"No, it was like that immediately after putting the wheel on", I stated. Now, becoming increasingly frustrated at this pathetic grasp for validation on why my wheel wasn't done properly after a 3rd visit to get a simple tyre change.

"Oh yeah, and the wheel is buckled too" which wouldn't help".

"Surely, this would have been the same the last time you balanced it", I exclaimed.

"Not really, any pothole can do it".

Like the pothole that caused me to come here for a tyre, you mean?" I sacrcastivly retorted.

"And any this last week".She replied confidently thinking she had won that little back and forth.

However, I explained that I hadn't driven the car since the last vist, as I work from home. And, it was instantly after I put the tyre on, that the wobble happened.

She then walked off in a huff, and sent the car with an employee once completed, wrapping up this ordeal of an experience.

Absolutely shocking, and I would give 0 if there was an option.

Having used these guys over the years on and off; Formula 1 services has never failed me yet. Recently took my X6 in to sort out my summer tyres to Winter etc. and to have 4 Wheel alignments checked and adjusted. These Guys were meticulous from start to End. (Kieran) Service reception communication was on point with the support of the technician who carried out the work. All tyres Pressures were entered correctly so that the tyre monitors function on point. On receiving back the keys and pulling off I noticed the improvement straight away therefore I drove home via scenic route. Steering response is much more precise accelerating and cruising is miles better.1 Week later I picked up a puncture (hum bug) I revisited Formula 1 on the Saturday. The guys were busy with other customers but advised if I was prepared to wait would fit me in (Lewis-Kieran)
I waited in the warm reception area for my turn. On reviewing the tyre, it was found that the repair could easily be fixed to my delight. The repaired was carried out and I was on my way. These guys are on point Customer support is clearly an avenue that some of the main dealers and other out lets could learn from. Thank you F1 I shall ensure all of my friends know that you guys can be relied on for a superb customer experience

I had my car booked in for an MOT today at the Wigan garage and i'm not very happy with the service I received to say the least. The mechanic who worked on my car first failed the MOT as the headlight beam was too low, he then adjusted the beam on both the drivers and passengers side headlights and passed the MOT a second time. When I arrived to collect my car I was asked to pay an additional £22.01 for the adjustment which I wasn't happy about as I hadn't been notified about any additional fees prior to the booking, but paid at the time as I felt I had no other choice. The mechanic demonstrated to me how the headlight beam had been adjusted and I can honestly say that it can't have taken him more than 60 seconds to do with a phillips screwdriver, no parts were changed, just a simple adjustment. While I am annoyed that the mechanic failed the MOT in the first place, rather than just doing the simple adjustment and passing the MOT the first time like most reputable garages would have done, I am also annoyed that I have been charged an additional £22.01 for this simple adjustment, which is quite simply something I could have done myself. I am also disappointed that I was given an advisory for the following 'Front items removed from driver's view prior to test', this point refers to my phone holder on the windscreen, why the mechanic couldn't just remove the phone holder from the windscreen rather than put it down as an advisory I have no idea. I contacted the customer care team who weren't very helpful and told me that I would need to take this up with the branch themselves, I then called the branch to express my dissatisfaction and the branch manager Max was not helpful at all and was quite rude and suggested that I wanted a dodgy garage and was expecting the mechanics to provide a dodgy service! Which is not the case at all, the company clearly don't value their customers and will do anything to make abit of extra money at the expense of their customers. Overall I have been left feeling very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service. Suffice to say I won't be using Formula One again and won't be recommending them to anyone else either! Avoid at all costs if you can.

Advoid got thier and they said the tyre machine is out of order I had a appointment booked no phone call or email to say they couldn’t do it I got thier they would not give me my tyres what I paid for after a long argument, they gave me then they said I had to re arrange another appointment my self so I took them to a different garage the same night fitted them no issues, AVOIDE would not use go else where

Formula 1 Hawley provided amazing service working hard over bank holiday to fix my car which wasn't an easy job and required a lot of off piste thinking and tinkering. Thanks a lot guys!

Perfect prices on my tyres and wheel alignment today and good advice in a way I can understand as a none mehanic. Thank you Dave and the staff for a friendly professional experience. Will certainly take my car here again for any work in the future.

Serviced and fitted brake pads. Brakes squealing all the time, so I returned and they said there was nothing wrong with them, which surprised me given the level of sound and that they had ages to bed in. Problem no better a few weeks later, so took to Halfords where I was told the pads where disintegrating due to over heating as had not been fitted properly. I wrote to F1 and asked them to address the issue, they said the local garage in Maidstone would contact me to address, but I never heard from them again. I had to get new brake pads fitted due to F1 incompetence and failure to address.

Postponed my first appointment from morning to afternoon then took 2 hours to fit 4 tyres,therefore causing me to miss my MOT appointment at another garage

Had a booking today in Farnborough branch to fit some tyres and because I arrived 5 minutes late dew to traffic they refused the appointment and the worst was that the staff was outside smoking and not busy at all. NOT RECOMMEND

Had the car for over 3 weeks to fix a clutch in the run up to Christmas. Told us every day from 2 weeks in that it would be ready tomorrow and it wasn't. Terrible customer service and communication, have used this garage for years now with 2 cars in the house and won't ever be back again. Left us in a really difficult situation before Christmas wish we had never gone to this garage.

Grantham Autocentre were extremely helpful to us yesterday and got us out of a difficult situation. The calipers had seized on one of the front wheels and we were stuck slap bang in the middle of a long journey. Green flag were less than useless at ferrying us onward so we went to search out a garage. Last one on the list was Formula one, who went out of their way to fit us in at late notice, were polite and friendly and did a cracking repair job on our vehicle allowing us to get on to our destination that day. We even had a lovely warm, comfortable waiting room with a loo and a tv. Thanks to Gary and the team for going above and beyond the call of duty for us! Merry Christmas .

I am disappointed with this workshop after repairing the suspension, the steering wheel is in the wrong position. The interior of the car is dirty missing original shock absorber plugs I have to spend my time and go for repairs generally I do not recommend this workshop in Telford

4 Avon tyres fitted at Andover Hampshire Good Price, however informed that both front wheels/tyres had bead leak that I needed to keep an eye on them. Informed there was a National Bead Sealer shortage due to Ukraine. (thought I was being fed a line at the time) Left with car indicating low tyre pressure. Checked all four tyres when I got home pressures ranged from 27.5 - 31psi when they should have been 33psi all round.!!!! Got both front wheels/tyres looked at by an independent tyre company (Mr Tyres) who sorted the issue out by grinding beads and used bead sealer to seal the tyre (informed there is no National bead sealer shortage). 1 week on and No Issues. Not impressed with F1 Autocentre service. Cheapest may not always be best, the money I saved initially was taken back getting then sorted with the second tyre company - lesson learnt.

Called at Burton on Trent branch as I had a nail in my tyre. Great service and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely go again :)
