We were assisted by Rosie who was very helpful. She answered our questions as they arose and made us aware of different fabric options and cost. We were able to look around the store at our own pace. Rosie has also given us contact details should we need any further assistance. We have just had our dining table and chairs delivered and are very happy with delivery service and how quickly everything was put together.

Furniture Village at Gateshead are very good. They are selling good quality furniture at reasonable prices. They have good staff, who are keen to help and starting from ordering till delivery and installation today - the whole process worked smoothly. We can't recommend them enough. This is not the experience we have had from other companies. That's why we have used Furniture Village a few times and will probably continue to.

The shop was beautiful and clean, I was left to shop instead of been chased by staff. Tim the member of staff that helped me and placed my order was great he never pushed anything just answered all questions, and I spent more as I had a chance to look peacefully. Saleslady Joanne was helpful and knew exactly what I required and did her utmost to oblige. She didn’t pressurise at all, and went out of her way to provide me with thinking time.

Amazing experience. Tim couldn’t have been any more helpful. Showing us all the different ranges and colours. Which bar stools were better suited to our needs. Overall a great experience.

Due to circumstances outside our control we needed to amend our delivery and product assembly details so visited the Gateshead store in order to do this. The sales advisor, Rosie, quickly understood and with the minimum off fuss helped us with all this then contacted the warehouse to ensure they understood what was happening.
Cannot fault the service we received and appreciate the help to alleviate what could have been a very stressful situation.

Great experience in Furniture World today,made even better by Ammo,what a nice man can't thank him enough.

We visited the store to look at Parker Knoll chairs but the particular model was not known by the sales advisor. He went to a lot of trouble to try and identify if the chair would be available from Furniture Village but was unsuccessful. Upon looking we found a chair on show that we actually preferred and after some advice from Neil we went on to purchase it. He made us feel at ease and not rushed as my wife and I were accompanied by my 100 year old father who as a retired upholsterer knew the right questions to ask which Neil expertly dealt with. Having never visited a Furniture Village store we will definitely be back.
