GardX Beware the
Having cost £799.60 for a policy to cover wheel and cosmetic damage to my BMW car. The first minor scuff mark claim was rejected after posting four photos of the marks they wanted further pictures that would show the area covered was beyond their 40cm limit, which it was not. I have therefore cancelled the policy. There policy is to deny valid claims. Beware.

Alan the technician called to remove a stain on the car upholstery in the rear and spent an hour shampooing, rinsing and drying it. He then tidied up the rest of the car too.

Had Alan come out to me today to rectify some areas that had been improperly applied by the dealer. Alan talked me through how this had likely happened and that this would be something the dealer should have picked up prior handover, and not normally being something that would be covered by the gardx warranty. Nevertheless, He quickly sorted these areas and left no trace of them being there. He is really friendly and knowledgeable and i am very greatful for his support.
The customer service team member was also very helpful and understanding to the issue, which was great!

Alan did a great job on my fabric seats today. Arrived on time, got to work and both the driver and passenger seat came up good as new. Great service would recommend.
Rubbish product and even worse customer service.
Bought Gardx paint protection for my new mini. What a waste of money!!! It was sold to me as described ‘ Proven in the world’s toughest environments, GardX not only delays the effects of external damage such as bird droppings but also maintains a high-gloss, showroom finish inside, keeping your vehicle looking pristine for years.‘
The first time a bird deposited on my car it left a stain. I removed the deposit immediately but it made no difference the stain was there. The product offered no protection whatsoever. Put my claim in which they refused stating ‘that the damage appears to be the result of bird droppings. This type of damage is not caused by a failure of the product itself. Your guarantee is designed to provide cover only in the event of a product failure’ and
‘Your guarantee does not cover any claim in the event of:
2. Failure to wash off or remove bird droppings or tree sap within a reasonable time. No paint finish, however protected, can withstand the prolonged effects of such corrosive matter. ’
I’ve asked them by email to clarify what is ‘reasonable time’ but they have so far ignored two emails. Rubbish customer service. Feel like I’ve been miss sold the product. Don’t waste your money on it !!!
Applied by Ford Main Dealer not worth the money
Applied by a Ford main dealer in Essex it looks like it was applied wirh a bucket and sponge as its very patchy and water doesnt run off even though it was applied 5 days ago. We were told it would be applied by a professional detailer but looking at the state of the car and the fact it was all over the door handles and sensors clearly not the case. £499 is it worth it.... absolutely not a detailer will charge about £100 more but it will last for 3 to 5 years. I feel like we have been conned and would not buy this again.
Paid nearly £500 for gardx treatment…
Paid nearly £500 for gardx treatment which can be brought on ebay for less then £20. The treatment wasnt even applied properly as was still mounds of dirt and cobwebs on the car when I got it back. Have spent weeks chasing up and trying to resolve but juat get fobbed off and the promise they will call back with updates but they never call back when they say you will. Complete waste of money and total scam.
Refused with two separate scratches
My paint cover T&C said no scratch larger than 30cm would be covered. I got two separate scratches on two different panels, both smaller than 30cm but they treated them as a single larger scratch (even though there was over 30cm between them) and they refused my claim. Never bothering with them again.
Great service and problem solved
Professional, reliable and friendly service. Came to my house twice, first to review the paintwork issue and second to rectify it. The car looks like new again, service provided by Alan Davies cannot be faulted.

Took out a policy with GuardX when i bought a new car, thinking it was a good 'insurance plan'.
Absolutely shocking service!
Tried to raise a claim in April, still chasing it now - 10 weeks later.
Poor response to communications, if any at all.
On a 3 year plan, and had similar issues last year.
Aftersales is non existent.
Would have been better spending the money on private repairs! At least they would get done then!!!

Ashley, did a fabulous job rectifying the paint work on my car. He was friendly, professional and a true perfectionist. The work totally exceeded my expectations. Ashley restored my faith in Gardex as initially the customer service side of things wasn't great.
ABSOLUTE SCAM: Disgusting Customer Service and Zero Support
I am writing to express my absolute outrage and disgust with the pathetic level of service—or lack thereof—provided by GardX. Selling a protection plan and actually honoring it are apparently two completely different things to your company.
We had our very first experience with a tire puncture and followed your procedures by visiting an authorized dealer. To our absolute shock, the dealer had no idea what GardX even was. How can you sell a premium protection product and partner with dealerships who have never heard of you?
To make matters worse:
The Wait: We were forced to wait for three grueling hours while the dealer tried to figure out your broken system.
The Result: After wasting half our day, our car was not even fixed. We walked away with a damaged tire and zero resolution.
The Support: Your customer service and support are completely non-existent. You are quick to take people's hard-earned money, but when it comes time to deliver on your promises, you vanish.
This entire operation feels like a massive scam. You take upfront money for peace of mind, but leave paying customers stranded at dealerships who don't know you exist.
Gard x cover AVOID
If you are offered this cover by your vehicle dealership steer well clear! We bought the so called all singing all dancing cover, we came to use it for the first time and low and behold it was rejected. The wheels are curbed so is accidental damage which is what the cover is for, however because there is water ingress under the paint around the damage from the kerbing they have rejected the claim. Basically the cover is not worth the paper it is writen on. We also had a scuff on the bumper from contact with a fence rejected with no explanation. You have been warned.

Terrible service
Terrible service. They take weeks to reply to emails and calls and further weeks to agree a repair. Then the fun starts they just do not attend to repair. They are real cowboys is a disgrace how they charge so much and avoid repairs at all costs. Dont use this company.
