Where do i start! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I arrived in Italy Wednesday lunchtime and flew back to the UK Thursday lunchtime. My 24 hours in Italy was pure torture.
I arrived at the airport in Italy and after over half an hour of searching I eventually found a man standing in the corner with a tiny piece of paper in his hand with Go Singles on it, he also spoke no English at all so not a great start. I could have been stood there for hours.
The guy drove very erratic and the drive to the hotel was nerve racking to say the least. At the hotel he handed me a piece of paper which stated the meet and greet would be at 3pm.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist said here was no one here to greet me and I would have to now wait until 5pm for the rep.
I went to room, the facilities were extremely poor (couldn't even make a drink), I had two single beds pushed together so not comfortable, there were no English channels on tv at all.
The room was just not up to standard, the chair had no padding so too uncomfortable to sit on. The blankets on the bed had certainly seen better days and they were very scratchy and uncomfortable. The red carpet in the room had white stains on and didn’t look pleasant at all. Everything was really dated. Certainly not an upgrade from what we were initially promised!
The bar was absolutely tiny and no choices of beers, only one beer of which he only had 4 bottles of. I have never experienced anything like this ever!
I sat down with the rep and told him of my concerns which he wrote down , I told him I would be leaving the following morning, to which he said I don’t blame you.
All excursions started at 8 so would mean getting up at 6 on morning, not ideal when you are on holiday.
The pool was dirty and needed cleaning, this seemed to attract the mosquitos and the lady who sat by pool for half an hour got bitten numerous times which meant that even sitting out by the pool wasn’t an option.
The food….. well, there was no real choice, no buffet to select from, no fresh fruit out and no bread selection.
I got a choice of 6 options on a card on the table. I opted for linguine (wish i could attach the picture), the langoustine was rotten! I asked for it to be changed and it seemed they removed the langoustine and brought back the same plate, I was ill all night and couldn’t keep off the toilet.
I then found out there was only 3 people on this holiday including myself and one wasn’t going on the excursions. The idea to go with yourselves was that there were many single travellers to not be on my own.

Response from go Singles - in a nutshell your choice to leave early and should have spoke to rep before leaving - i did this but was told - I don't blame you!
No compensation, no vouchers no gesture of good will!

Recently returned from a Tuscany trip with this company. It was disappointing from the start as there were only 3 of us signed up for the so called "group" trip and then one actually left after the first breakfast! So, we quickly became 2.
The 3 days which were part of the trip, were quite well handled by a local guide on the whole but the other 3 days, when we had "optional" trips, were another story. I had imagined that we would be offered a choice of either another trip or to stay around the local area that day, However, this was not their meaning of optional - we were in effect abandoned to our own devices and forced to navigate the trains/ferry systems on our own if we wanted to explore Tuscany, as the local guide was working for a different company on those days. Luckily the other person and I got along , so we managed to navigate the problems fairly well - but not everyone would have been happy to do this.
We had also been told of a hotel change a week before our departure date. It was from a modern, smaller hotel to a much larger older style one. Once we got used to it, the hotel was fine- if a little tired and in need of rejuvenation. However, I had looked up the initial hotel online and had been looking forward to spending one of my optional days lounging around the open area by the pool - not really possible at the older place as there were numerous trees, so lots of shade and mosquitoes!
The driver who picked us up from the airport also drove us on the middle day to Siena. A glorious place - but I was stressed out on our return as the drivers eyes were frequently shutting and I was nervous that we might be involved in an accident.
On our return to the UK, I contacted the company to express my concerns over the hotel, number of participants on the tour, age of our driver and so on.
I received a response which included an offer of a 50 pound voucher to be used against any future trip with GoSingles- I'm afraid to say I will not be using that offer both because its derisory and I have no intention of spending any more with this company when there are other, better ones available!

Just got back from my singles holiday in Crete with GoSingles, staying at the Despo Hotel – and what a week! The hotel was lovely, friendly staff, and great food with plenty of variety. Everything was so well organised, from airport transfers to group dinners and fun evenings out. The atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone clicked from day one – no one ever felt alone. We explored beautiful villages, beaches, and local tavernas, and laughed nonstop along the way. Plus, it worked out around £250 cheaper than similar singles holidays I’d seen elsewhere. Great value, great people, and an unforgettable trip!

Not a caring, helpful or Cummunicative company.
- Supposed to be a Group Holiday, had a shock on arrival just to see three of us on the trip. In my opinion it should have been cancelled but Go Singles said they booked trips also on a single basis, so it was ok to go ahead. I am on my own enough...I wanted company, say 10 people at least and as in other companys holidays.
- Go Singles emailed me the price of flying from East Midlands, £264 extra and without showing a credit for not flying from Gatwick. Didnt even talk to me about it until it was too late to cancel. I regularly pay much less for flights from EMA.
- The flight out was around midnight and the return flight was 2am in the morning when on going connections were very limited. These are too late. Other daytime flights were available.
- On the last day had to give up room at 11am and until the late evening flight I was without accommodation for 10 hours. Too much.
If I had known about the number on trip, the high extra flight costs and flight times and service quality, I would never have gone on the holiday with GoSingles.
I have the impressionthat GoSingles have insufficient bookings for trips but go ahead anyway, and need the money.
This is not a company who cares for their clients.

Re GoSingles reply below, its a shame that GoSingles have reverted to giving an untruthful reply and spin to some of my experience.
I was never notified in advance regardimg group size. I believe this was held back from me.
No options were offered regarding alternative flight times and costs. After paying I was told four days layer they had selected my flights and when I told them they were totally inconvenient, they said it was too late to amend them. I was never offered any other flights at all.
An option for a dayroom was never mentioned.
My advice, if you have to go with GoSingles , when booking a GoSingles holiday is to be very aware and make sure costs , group numbers flight details etc are known before payment and get a quote.

Italy with GoSingles was all about the people as much as the places! Tuscany’s rolling hills, Florence’s art and piazzas breathtaking, but sharing it all with a fun group made it unforgettable. The dinners, laughs over wine, and late-night chats were the highlight. I loved how easy it was to connect, no awkward moments, just instant friends. And honestly, the trip cost way less than I expected compared to others. Social, scenic, and such great value, perfect mix!

Travelling to Sri Lanka with GoSingles was such an incredible experience. The trip was perfectly organised, and our rep went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt included and at ease. From exploring the ancient sites in Sigiriya and Kandy to the breathtaking train ride through the tea plantations and the stunning beaches near Galle, every moment was memorable. The group bonded so well, and I came home with new friends and amazing memories. Truly a holiday I’ll never forget, and big thank you to GoSingles for making it possible 😊

It was very well organised. I had a few issues on the run up to my trip and the team were really good at communicating and being flexible with me.

The Gulet was a very relaxing and lovely experience. Plenty of food and the staff were great. Stopped in some lovely bays and places.

Hotel was lovely and peaceful. Again staff were lovely. It’s in a good location with easy access to shops and bars.

I would recommend both the Gulet trip and Hotel Olympos

Just got back from my singles holiday to Vietnam with GoSingles and honestly, it was brilliant! The trip was super well organised from start to finish, and our rep was always around, making everything smooth and stress-free. We explored so much, from buzzing Hanoi to charming Ho Chi Minh and finishing in lively Saigon, every stop felt special. What stood out for me was how affordable it was compared to other companies I looked at, without cutting corners on quality. Great value, great company, and a fab way to see Vietnam without feeling alone. Highly recommend!

Update 13/10/25 I am formally discounting GoSingles latest response on this site posted 3 days ago. I am fully aware of Trust Pilot regulations - I have categorically NOT re-posted my review so have no idea what GoSingles are referring to. My post below was submitted just the once and was approved, after scrutiny, by the Trust Pilot Content Integrity team. It represented my FINAL response to GoSingles and offered them a final opportunity to acknowledge their failings at the time. They didn’t. I stand by all elements of my review and have nothing further to add or to respond to.

It is noted that GoSingles have replied so quickly to my review having completely ignored the formal letter of complaint I sent to them [via email and Recorded delivery post] on 31st July 2025 which set out to them a 14 day period Right to Reply.
• There were no pre-existing conditions that I needed to share with GoSingles at the time of booking. The health scare I experienced was something I had never had before.
• I have to refute the claims made that ‘All concerns raised were addressed promptly by email’. As you are fully aware the communication with yourselves via email only happened when I contacted YOU, on 11th July. At that time the Rep had not even informed you about the incident. Yes, you did reply to that email explaining to me that as a matter of goodwill you had repatriated me to the hotel rather than the usual protocol of ‘if a passenger is unable to continue with their holiday, would be for them to return to the UK at their own expense’ for which I was grateful BUT you completely ignored the fact that the Rep hadn’t told you about it, seemingly accepting, as an organisation, that poor level of Duty of Care.
• Yes, the Captain and his wife’ did ‘personally accompanied’ me in the taxi. They actually disembarked at Fethiye, a 20-minute drive before the hotel but would like to note that I paid 100% of the taxi fare from the boat embarkation to the hotel.
• With regards to ‘you were allowed to check out without settling [my] bar bill’. At the time of disembarkation, it was not, understandably, at the forefront of my mind. I consider this an irrelevant slur on my character which infers that the bar bill wasn’t paid – It WAS. I handed cash over to the Rep a few days later [with a member of the GoSingles there to witness this handover]. I assume this was handed over to the Captain in due course.
• I have no recollection of the Rep offering to take me to the hospital but I accept that this doesn’t mean she didn’t – I was distressed and frightened so I may not have even registered that offer.
• I did thank the hotel staff for the attention they were able to offer, my complaint referred wholly the Rep and with the GoSingles organisation with how they handled matters.
• With regards to my comments about the GoSingles Rep being of a ‘personal in nature and verge on defamation’ I made an informed decision NOT to name her in my review as my complaint is with the company and, it is their responsibility to recruit and quality assure their Representatives. I am aware that GoSingles flagged my Trust Pilot Review for containing defamatory content, However, the Trustpilot Content Integrity Team contacted me on 27/08/25 to advise that they had ‘assessed the content flagged by the business, and determined that it’s not defamatory’.
• At no point have I suggested in my review that GoSingles aren’t ATOL protected. I simply drew attention to the observation that they are not members of ABTA [Association of British Travel Agents]. The ABTA website explains that it ‘requires members sign up to a code of conduct and commit to agreed service standards, accurate advertising and fair trading’. It therefore is not available to assist in matters relating to my [and others] experience with GoSingles
• In response to the GoSingles statement ‘ if you have been consistently satisfied with other companies, it raises of why you chose to try us – unless this review forms part of a competitors led campaign’ ironically, I find that, in itself, accusatory, ill informed and, to reference their words, ‘verging on defamatory’! I chose to try GoSingles as they offered a something different with regards to the Turkish Gilet. I also chose them as the dates fitted in with those in my annual leave allocation. I write as just a traveller – I have absolutely no affinity or involvement with GoSingles competitors.

Very nice group of people we all got well and had a great time , I love to do it again, just mooring each day and swimming, then later on mooring up in evening meal and have a last swim of the day , then sitting down and playing cards , and a drink or two , great time was had by all

A fabulous experience meeting new people from all walks of life. Sailing week was brilliant, with a first class captain and crew. Food and service was outstanding.

I've just got home from my cruise along the Croatia coast, islands and Montenegro and absolutely loved it. Last year I did my first Go Singles holiday and just having other people on the same trip gave me the courage to actually travel on my own later. Being in a group you can decide to do excursions etc together or join up with one or two to explore together or even just spend a few hours on your own.
This year my cruise had a small, fun group and we all got on so well even though we were from totally different backgrounds - it just worked and we had a lot of laughs. I hope to continue having a Go Singles holiday to a different destination each year, not only to explore new places but also to make new friends. Just jump in and book it and you'll have a brilliant time

Had a fantastic week with like-minded people. The boat had all we needed although it was very hot at night. The crew couldn’t have been more helpful and the food was amazing (and I’m a vegetarian). I ended up paying for a private transfer on the last day as I didn’t feel the one that was included gave me enough time at the airport.

2 years ago today, I met the love of my life in Turkey. Certainly didn’t plan/expect/want this from a holiday; I just wanted to enjoy the sunshine in a new place! But oh my god, miracles happen, and thanks to Go Singles, I am the luckiest, happiest girl that ever did live.

The holiday itself was great. The leader (Jennie) was welcoming, friendly and helpful. She was easy to talk to and provided good company during evening meals. We were a mixed group: I was the youngest at 29, with men and women in their 40s-60s, and my new 85 year old pal joined us most evenings for post dinner fun in the town!

The location of the hotel (Olympos) was brilliant - a short walk and you were in the heart of the town’s nightlife! The beach was a short taxi ride away (or a little longer if you went over to the Blue Lagoon beaches).

The activities offered to us ranged from a Hammam (Turkish bath), to boat trips, quad biking, scuba diving, paragliding - the lot!

The hotel was basic, but clean and the staff were fantastic. I still remember their names and how much fun and helpful they were. The food served for evening meals was good. (I’m quite picky, so didn’t like all of it, but I never went hungry, and what I did like, was delicious!)

Thank you Go Singles for a wonderful holiday filled with memories to last a lifetime! I don’t know if there’s ever been any love stories from one of your holidays before, but me and my partner are forever grateful to you (and to the universe) for somehow bringing us together.

I had a wonderful experience with Go Singles going to Turkey. I had a really good experience booking it (with a lovely lady called Beth). The pick-up in Turkey was great, clearly signposted and no stress. We had a wonderful rep called Jane who really went above and beyond to take care of us! She was really helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel was basic, but lovely, clean and the pool and restaurant area was lovely. Just a small family owned place which was perfect. It would be nice if Go Singles could be more clear about how many people are booked in on each holiday, just in case you are not keen on being there totally on your own. It's a wonderful company and it all seemed well organised. Really happy with my vacation and I would definitely use them again 😄

Tenerife was a winner – sunshine, fab hotel, great group and loads of laughs. Brilliant value for what I paid – excursions, meals, and a proper solo holiday vibe. Already eyeing up the next deal!”

Great group of people, great hotel & great rep

Great holiday with like minded people. All travel arrangements went through smoothly with no problems.
Loved the first week travelling around the coastline on the Gulet. Friendly crew looked after us very well and the food was great. Second week at the hotel Olympus was also very good with excellent staff and catering.

Great hotel, staff couldn’t do enough for you and the food at the hotel was top class

Had a great time in this family run hotel. The staff couldn't have been more attentive. H and Sunat really made the holiday with the way they dealt with service and any questions we had. The food was tasty and excellent freshly prepared eggs at breakfast, along with a good array of meats, cheese and pastry. A really nice group of people; there were about 17 of us. We had such a laugh. The rooms are clean but could really do with a bit of tlc. Well situated for shops and easy to bet to both Olu Deniz and Fethiye.

For some reason, GoSingles didn't give us the opportunity to check in online with Ryan Air and we had to print boarding passes. This caused a lot of problems at the airports, as the sensors struggled to read the bar code.
