I would like to thank Owen Gill for his fantastic help in getting my current role. (Apologies that it has taken me a while to write this review!) Back in Dec & January, Owen offered such great support and guidance throughout the entire job application process. Owen was very friendly, knowledgable and extremely professional. Owen provided regular contact follow up and support and this was so helpful in helping me to secure the role that I’m currently in. Thank you!

Jake was massively supportive and communicative the entire way through my application process all the way until I started my new job! Would really recommend GRB.

I would love to thank Izzy Smeeth, she was instrumental in finding me my graduate role! Communication and support was great throughout the whole process and whenever I had an issue/questions Izzy was happy to help and sorted things out fast!

Gen has honestly been so uncommunicative. I got an email about a role, responded with my CV, she was initially for in touch with me after a couple of days. She told me to write a cover letter with specific guidelines. All fine, but she wanted this fairly quickly. Wrote this and submitted. Fast forward a month and I had still heard nothing. I followed up with her weekly, I didn't think this was excessive but she made me feel like I was bothering her. Finally they got back to me, had my first interview. Some advice was given, none of it really applicable. Waited another while but got a second interview, very little advice given and no reminder of the initial stuff she had given me so that got lost in a WhatsApp message chain. Failed the second interview. She told me I could reapply in a couple of months, so I did, it has been a month and still nothing back from the company and again I feel like I am pestering her. She said she is "pushing" for them to reconsider me. Nothing gives a good feeling about working for a company than someone having to push them to hire you. She hasn't given me any other options to apply for. All I got from this recruiter was a confidence knock and a day worth of time preparing for interviews wasted.

I can’t thank Lauren Whitfield enough for her incredible support throughout my graduate job search. From the first conversation, she was friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in helping me succeed. Lauren kept in regular contact, provided great interview advice, and always followed up to see how things were going.

She made the whole process feel smooth and much less stressful, and thanks to her guidance and encouragement, I’ve now secured my dream graduate role. Her support made all the difference and I’d highly recommend her and GRB to any graduate looking to kickstart their career.

My experience with GRB team was extremely positive. Lauren, who guided me through the recruitment process, was incredibly supportive. I always felt comfortable reaching out and asking questions. The communication was amazing and the advice I received fully prepared me for both the online assessment and the interview. Slightly impersonal at times but they’re in a rush to get connections so I get it.

Lauren and the rest of the GRB have helped me throughout my application process for a graduate role. I have found the speed of communication, the attention to detail and the overall helpfulness of the team to be comforting during what can be a particularly stressful process. I was given preparation for interviews, assessment centres and supported throughout the entire recruitment journey.

Overall I couldn't be more thankful for the help i’ve received in getting a job in my preferred industry, I highly recommend the service!

I had an initial phone call from Gen around Nov/Dec where we spoke about what my plans were for after uni and what Job/Career paths I was interested in. I mentioned at that point I was applying for PhDs and would start to look at Jobs after I had finished those applications and my Christmas exams. We then scheduled a call for the new year to discuss the specifics of the roles I was looking at. Gen then emailed me roles based off of our discussion and I would say which ones I would like to make an application for based off of the job description. I think I applied for 3 roles, all of which I interviewed for, 2 I got to the final stage and then accepted an offer at 1 of them, which I am very happy with. Throughout the whole process Gen was very helpful with advice about the companies and interviewers, and resources for HR Interviews, online assessments and technical interviews.

I don't really have anything negative to say, the process took quite a while, but that is really because the companies took a week or so to get back to me after each round. When GRB initially sends you the role, it is just a description of the company and job but doesn't specifically mention the name of the company, but I'm sure there is good reason for this, and it doesn't really matter because as soon as you say you are interested in the role you find out all the specifics of the company.

Considering I had no prior work experience or internships I was surprised by how many interviews Gen could get me, so rest assured if you have her you are in good hands.

Overall Gen was incredibly helpful, supportive and friendly, I always thought I was very nervous and jittery before interviews but with her advice I felt very confident and relaxed in interviews. I would definitely recommend Gen and the whole of GRB to a friend!

Ian was an excellent guide through the recruitment process, and was really easy to communicate with. He was always available to offer support and all of the advice he gave me was so valuable. I feel so lucky to have found GRB and I cannot recommend them enough!
