Both Kateryna and Maya have been brilliant in supporting me through a sale that fell through and a new sale. Thank you to Kateryna for keeping my buyer interested and assured throughout this long process. Maya picked up the reins during the final phase of the conveyancing process and kept everyone in the chain informed. She remained positive, professional and had the energy and drive to keep the pressure on. We are just about to exchange and complete and I can't thank both Kateryna and Maya enough for their professional practice and positive attitudes. I definitely recommend using Haart Estate Agents, Torquay. They are a young energetic team that you cannot ever underestimate.

As a buyer, they could not have made it any more difficult to view, discuss and purchase the property and made it extremely painful causing us to nearly lose the purchase multiple times. We decided to just go around and speak to seller direct as communicating through Hart was shocking.

Even from step one the initial viewing, we booked 3 times with them cancelling each time, one was the day of the viewing. to rebook was near impossible, i called them so many times to attempt to book just an initial viewing and it never happened, they just didnt return calls or cared, we were very set on the house which is what kept us determined but if this was anywhere else we wouldnt have bothered to keep dealing with them.

Throughout the purchase, they did not update the seller at all, turned up late to viewings and we could never get ahold of them when important legal steps and questions were needed.

I have been harassed by this company over 20 times in a week chasing me to sell my property with them. At no time did I ask them to contact me nor did I give them my contact details. They admitted that my details had been sold to them. This is disgusting and I would never use this company. Please be aware that this is how they conduct themselves. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Haart got us a viewing on the property on the day I rang for an appointment. Rebecca Carter showed us around the property. She was excellent, knowledgeable and helpful.

From my first contact with Heart Estate Agents I have found the team to be helpful and professional. Kateryna Chornenka has guided me throughout the process from the initial first viewing to the purchasing a house.
Kateryna has kept me up to date at each step, with regular phone calls and emails enabling me to ask any questions I might have had and supporting me through any concerns I had.

Recently I phone up and spoke to Michael hughes the new manager asking about a property in Torquay. He was very pleasant to talk to and his local knowledge is brilliant !. I have spoke to other estate agents in the area and they have not been helpful as compared to Michaels approach. I would give 10/10 for this manager and I’m hoping that he will be able to sort out a property for me in Torquay. What an asset to the company.

Absolutely chronic...tried repeatedly over a 4 week period to book a viewing at a property in Torquay through the local office, on line and at help email. To no avail. Deeply disappointed as we were really keen to view the property. My heart goes out to the vendor as they have lost out on a sale.

Viewed property, made offer (verbally told it was good), gave all necessary details. Received from Haart, NOTHING. Followed up for 4 weeks now with phones calls, texts, emails and received absolutely NOTHING.
Not quite sure what you need to do to buy a property through these folk!!

Unable to contact lettings team for almost a month as nobody works there!

Have tried to rent my property referred to in earlier complaint in Victoria Parade for last 2 months but Haart can't update me on any progress.

Unresponsive to my enquires regarding a property to let on Rightmove.

In response to Haart’s reply. it was an enquiry relating to the flat you have available on Victoria Parade. Tried 3 times through your online chat. Just tried again and no response. I am still looking and have not moved yet

Unbelievable response from Haart considering the flat is still not let.

Do these people ever answer the phone??? Looked to buy through them last year and couldn't get an answer on the phone.....A year later trying to sell my own place and have lost count how many times phone has gone to voicemail....even stood outside offices and watched them ignore the phone ringing.....

They now owe us over £1500 in rent paid to them by our tenants and refuse to give it to us despite us paying haarts rent collection fees they dream up more fees. Beware. Disgusting attitude . Multiple rent arrears letters sent out to tenants NOT in arrears causing huge upsets. They dont stick to their own terms and conditions. The amount of stress, anxiety, loss of sleep they have caused us as landlords and our lovely tenants is not acceptable. Its 5 am and we are on here!!!! Really nice in Torquay office but then they sting you and ruin your relationship with your good tenants. Very unprofessional set up. Their head office has no idea of customer service for landlords. Money grabbing attitude. Our increasing property portfolio is not being given to haarts to manage to protect our tenants and ourselves from them. Shame because we like Emma in Torquay Lettings .

Landlords and tenants be careful and we recommend going to other agents not haarts. They steal your rent they are contracted to pay you each month, they dream up fees to boost their turnover they send out rent arrears letters to nice fully paid tenants and hassle them incorrectly. Stay clear

Terrible, they falsely advertise properties as "Star Buys"
for weeks after they are sold, 1stly tell me that they are having trouble with rightmove !! i pointed out that they must have problems with "on the Market " too as they are still advertised on there. i rang them again today, where they told me that the vendor still want them advertised !! Total liars.. and i'll be reporting them to the ombudsman

Do not use they are ignorant and when you ask why the response is we will get to you when we can 1 thing that realy gets my goat is sarcasim

I’ve been registered with haart for a couple of months now and they’ve been super efficient, I’ve dealt with Emma Scott from the initial interest id put forward and she’s been very accommodating and friendly. It’s nice to see someone who thoroughly enjoys what they do.

Thank you all at the Torquay branch. I would recommend haart to anyone.

I would like to say thanks to Emma Scott as she knew how desperate I was to move and showed me around the property before she marketed it and I was then able to secure it after 14 months of looking. Ive had such a brilliant experience and never had better customer service.

Haart but Emma Scott in particular has been brilliant. She’s helped me through my very long property search and she’s answered all my questions very professionally and there’s been a lot of them!

I have been working with Haart as a contractor since April. Communication is key when trying to get necessary works completed quickly and efficiently. Sarah and Henrieta of Devon Property Management are always very responsive. Would highly reccomend to other contractors.
