Our regular hours are 8am to 6pm on weekdays, but we can also come out to you earlier in the morning, later in the evening and at the weekends. The Handy Squad provides a professional service for a fair price. They are very transparent about their prices. They undertake a wide range of jobs including odd jobs, plumbing, electrics, etc. If you have a list of odd jobs you need doing, you should call them.

Great and reliable service
The electrician was very professional, punctual and clean. He made sure he wiped every bulb and piece of glass of my ceiling lights and left not a single fingerprint anywhere. He was attentive to detail and I was very happy with the service.

Booking was straight forward and the quote and expectations clearly set out. Bill, the handyman, arrived promptly and was excellent. He was efficient, polite and provided some really helpful practical guidance and worked extremely cleanly and orderly in the chaos that was my flat with the kids on half term. I have used Handy Squad a few times before and have never been let down. I would highly recommend them.

Booking the appointment was easy and it was very helpful to be given a 1 hour time slot. The contractor turned up on time and was polite, helpful and very professional. He managed to disconnect a waste disposal unit as well as carrying out a couple of very small carpentry type jobs.

First time using the HandySquad and will definitely use again. James fitted a light for me and Shaun helped hang up some mirrors and fit a TV bracket. Both were extremely helpful and efficient in getting the jobs done!

I have used The Handy Squad on three separate occasions and have never been disappointed. The booking process is easy and reliable: charges are clearly set out before each job and my preferred dates and times have been accommodated. On this latest occasion, Bill arrived on time and quickly and efficiently carried out some small tasks (changing a door bell and installing a couple of smoke alarms); beyond that, he was friendly and pleasant.

I have used the Handy Squad often and…
I have used the Handy Squad often and they have always been brilliant...today no exception. Shaun arrived 8 am and did about 10 small jobs in less than 2 hours.p, ranging from electrical repairs to fixing door handles to re stringing the rope on a clothes airer and changing a dryer vent. Obviously, I had got most of the fittings that he would need in advance, some had to wait for his diognosis and instruction but I went to get those bits while he got on with the bits.

Removal and re-hanging of a blind
The job was completed extremely efficiently, very professionally and (from what I can tell from my limited DIY knowledge) to a high standard. The HandyMan - J - was punctual and polite and deserves to be commended. The fact that I was able to book a slot for 8am the next day was immensely satisfying and I would not hesitate to recommend this team to others.

Disassembling and dismantling desks
Radek disassembled a larger desk and assembled another smaller desk in record time, something I have been meaning to do for some time. He carried out the work very speedily and with a very pleasant manner.

Strongly recommend
Richard turned up promptly, worked really hard and, as a bonus, noticed that an external pipe was leaking water into the house and that I needed a plumber. (Without him I'd have ended up with damp coming through the walls and a very expensive repair job.) He was polite and very capable. The company was so easy to deal with; I will be using them again and strongly recommend them.
