I booked the holiday through Hays Travel Online ok, then came to pay the bill, £1,083.37 entered my credit card details all correctly, then a message from Hays popped up: Congratulations, everything is done, then five seconds later the screen turned red, your card has failed, please try again or use another card. I tried entering the card again, but nothing happened. So I used my current account card, and the transaction went through. I then checked my credit card account to find that £1,083.37 had gone through and that another £1,083.37 had been taken from my current account, so now I am about to go to to Hays Head Office in Gillbridge House Sunderland to try and sort this mess house and have had to Cancel my football match this afternoon Sunderland v Brighton and I am not happy

It was so easy to book plus great prices and booking through a company you can trudy

A first class service from Hays , from the initial phase of booking to receiving documentation - approx 24 hours .

Booking through Hayes Travel to go to Amsterdam was nothing special. When I had a problem concerning the flights I was told to get in touch with Easyjet. I could have booked the hotel and flights separately myself, as it would have cost the same. No airport transfers were included either. Pointless!

After a small mistake from myself while booking, and phoning customer services it was delta with extremely quickly. Thank you

Easy website and great choice of holidays

made my booking online and everything was fine until the booking conformation came and on it was no transfers which came from Easy jet holidays so i mentioned this to a very nice guy called Jamie who asked for me to leave it with him so he could find out what was on offer and what was on my booking came back a few days later and informed me that transfers are included WELL DONE JAMIE JOB WELL DONE but i think Hays travel need to sort out this issue as it was included on most holidays that i looked at in Benidorm

I find it strange that when you book online, when you go into a store, they cant help with queries, because they cant access the information.

We used the website and had looked at other sites, but the Hays one was by far the easiest to use and view options without reloading, changing screen etc. It was all very clear and easy to book!

The girls on both calls I had to make were amazing! So helpful ,I swapped my hotel twice and nothing was too much trouble .they were friendly ,we were laughing and joking through the whole call while also being professional .both lovely girls

Having seen a holiday in a shop window, I looked it up the next day online and was delighted to be able to book it.
On the downside my first attempt at the booking was not completed and I was instructed to either’ try again, contact us or wait to be contacted’ which was a little confusing. I chose to ‘try again’ and was successful, however, my payment for the first attempt had successfully been taken so I ended up making two, full cost payments. Staff from Hays Travel contacted me immediately and put a refund in train but this felt an avoidable error with confusing instructions.

Don't use Ryanair. Hays itself excellent service from Joe at Warrington branch,and no problems previously booking here.The person I dealt with at call centre needs a medal for his professionalism and patience.
