I placed my order and paid with my CC. About 10 mins later, I received an email stating that I had chosen the etransfer payment method, (which I hadn’t), and that they were waiting for payment. It was after hours, so I couldn’t call but I tried the CS link on their site, which bounced back. I then tried the chat, which was also closed, but provided my details there and hoped for the best. I received an email in the morning that my payment had been received, so I was happy. The order was scheduled to be delivered that day, but it never arrived. I contacted them again but never heard back. The order was delivered one day late. The site looks professional, but this company is anything but. PLEASE PUT YOUR $ and trust elsewhere!

I ordered a kosher gift basket with a few add-ons, including an Aloe Vera plant, as a gift for my son. Almost nothing received was kosher, and about 90% of the items were low-quality replacement substitutes: Wisconsin cheddar instead of aged Havarti cheese, plain water crackers instead of olive oil and sea salt crackers, cheap artificial grape flavor spread instead of wildberry jam, and a $19.99 succulent arrangement instead of the $24.99 Aloe Vera plant ordered. Quality was far below what was advertised. Very disappointing experience.

Terrible company. I decided to order fruit in a beautiful reusable wicker basket. Instead, fruit was delivered on two separate cardboard trays. I paid for the wicker basket, and it was not provided. This is a gift basket company that doesn’t have baskets!? Even though their own delivery driver took a picture of what was left on their doorstep, it was not enough evidence for them to accept responsibility for their subpar product. Also, so funny that they sent out a request for a review, and the button to select giving them only one star service did not work! They don’t even deserve one star. Customer service is zero. They will not correct their error. Reviews are misleading because when you look at the breakdown, the vast majority has given them one star.

I was a bit discouraged when I read the reviews online but overall my experience was good. I input the wrong address by mistake but the Hazeltons team helped me right away to correct the address and to make sure the items arrived on time. There were slightly different items in the box then what I ordered but probably with the same value. It was a present so I didn't care much.
They could not ship on weekends and I wonder if the info was on the website because I don't remember seeing it.
Overall the experience was good.

Everything was great and the cake was delivered in good condition and they enjoyed it. The customer service team was very helpful and responsive by email. I only wish the tracker was a bit more detailed when it came to delivery time before the day of and on the day of delivery since it was a perishable item and I had to have someone take the full day off work to wait for the delivery. But overall a great experience I'd use them again.

I live in the Caribbean and have used Hazelton’s to send gifts to friends and family in Canada. Always accurate, easy to use site. Delivery usually ahead of schedule. I will continue to use this company for my Canadian gift needs.

I recently ordered a birthday cake for my niece, as a surprise for her special day and I made arrangements for her partner to be home to accept delivery. I supplied the recipient's address including postcode and the order form asked for a telephone number "in case we need to contact you about your order". My number was not acceptable - I am in Ireland - so I gave my niece's number, believing that she would not need to be contacted. I paid a total of $67.18 which included a delivery fee of around $20 and the order was confirmed. On the day of the scheduled delivery, I received an email telling me that they were unable to deliver the order. The delivery agent arrived at my niece's apartment and for some reason, did not ring the doorbell. Neither did he leave the order in the secured area in the camera protected foyer. He rang my niece's number and because she was at work, with a client and not expecting delivery of a cake, she did not answer. So he left. I contacted Hazeltons and explained that someone had been waiting, and was still waiting, to take delivery of the cake and I asked them to try again. They said that if I wanted an agent to try again, I would have to pay a further $39.99 and in any event, it would have to wait for another day. I asked if the cake could be picked up and I was told that it was an on-line facility only and not a shop. I explained that my sister had sent a gift package through Hazeltons which cost $200 and that package had been left in the secure foyer area downstairs. I was told that this decision is entirely a matter of discretion for the delivery agent. I got absolutely no satisfaction whatsoever, although I paid for a delivery that was never effected. I got a partial refund of $27.19 for the cake. Next year, I will revolut the money to my niece and she can go to an actual shop, speak with an actual assistant and come away with an actual cake. Although this company is rated 4.1 on Trustpilot, I notice that 67% of people surveyed gave the company just 1 star and reading the reviews, I think most of them, like me, would have given 0 stars if that were possible. Keep your money and stay well away. There are lots more options for sending gifts online.

The recipient was thrilled with the gift and its contents. Beautifully presented and arrived the day before it was scheduled. Being a more rural area we really appreciated that.

I had a very very bad experience with Hazeltons Canada. I booked cake and a succulent pot for my family member birthday.
These people charge 8 CAD just for writing "Happy Birthday X" on a cake.i think is this ridiculous way of making money.
The logistic is pathetic. We have no information at what time the gift is getting delivered.. My family kept waiting and asking me the time and i could never track even though they had given the link. The link always showed order is out from 7:40am in the morning.
Last thing was, what i ordered was not delievered the same..when i reached out to the team they said send us pictures to verify..after sending all info they said since you agreed with terms and conditions we cannot do anything. Even after saying that i do not need a refund but just ask fore replacement still they said sorry.
With such a pathetic service and so expensive stuffs, I would not recommend Hazeltons to anyone.
