My original review has been removed to protect the owners names - how about protecting the consumer from this type of fraudster? I will repost minus their names but it’s all there for anyone to see on companies house.

This company is selling defective cars and scamming customers out of their money. Failed businessman GK has had to place his wife X as the director as he has so many failed car companies behind him and countless customers chasing for their money. Interesting that they still manage to live in a million pound house and send their 2 children to a private school in Essex costing £60000 a year.

Shocking company, sold me a defective car but refuses to answer my calls to discuss. Promised to send me the warranty and car booklets in the post, but guess what? Nothing. They’ll take your money and then you’ll never hear from them again.

Honestly, where do i begin regarding this absolute nightmare.
Bought a car on finance with Heron Automotive in January. Within the first 2 weeks the car had major gearbox issues. Dealer notified and assured he would rectify the issues. Dealer sent the car to a garage local to me, who couldn’t identify any problems as wasn’t using proper BMW diagnostics ,however the faults were all found by my normal mechanic! The dealer claimed he had a gearbox service done by this garage, but that was also a figment of his imagination as the garage themselves confirmed this never happened.
We have chased the dealer for weeks and weeks without any communication or random ‘not in the office today’ text messages. False promises saying he’d fix the vehicle and clearly hasn’t.
The car has now gone back to the finance company as he doesn’t want to shell out and fix the issue properly with new parts, he will only use second hand parts and at the cheapest rate to himself.
He’s rude, patronising, arrogant and treats customers like they’re stupid. He made my wife cry with how he’s treated her throughout this process. He laughed at the issues and said she was being ‘over dramatic’ and kept arguing with her on the phone, to which she actually hung up because it was so distressing.
I wish I’d never bought a car from here as it’s been nothing but hassle a since we collected it.
There has been more than one diagnosed fault with the vehicle which we would never have known about before purchase. Garry (Heron automotive owner) stated that the car had been through checks with his mechanic prior to collection, which is also a complete lie.
This man is a complete con artist and doesn’t care about anything except when the cash is in his pocket.
I’ve made various complaints to car money and my finance company. Also to trading standards and the motor ombudsman.
Stay away from this conman!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Bought a car 2 months ago and within the first 2 weeks the car had major gearbox and clutch issues. The dealer keeps making false promises and has ignored all phone calls and text messages from myself and from my broker.
The guy is an absolute scammer, happy to take your money and fill you with false promises. Don’t go near this dealership!
Absolute shambles regarding communication and recognising the law!
Safe to say he owes people a lot of money.

I have previously left good reviews on Autotrader.
Unfortunately, about 30 days after purchase, the water pump broke.
The owner of Heron Automotive agreed to have it repaired at my local garage.
He received an invoice, so he can deduct it from the costs and Corporation Tax. In the meantime, he did not compensate for the repair, although four months have already passed.
Heron Automotive made about a 30% profit on the transaction with me and does not want to refund the £420 for the repair.
This is dishonest behavior and therefore needs to be condemned.
It turns out that you pay a lot of money for the safety of buying from a dealer, and in the end you are cheated.

PS Autotrader UK unfortunately is not keen to help solve the problem either.
