They lied and said they tried to deliver it but got rejected 5 times which never happened!
They've had our parcel for almost a month now and refuse to communicate with our seller so there's no updates!

I was once attacked by an angry cassowary. It was the 2nd worst experience of my life.
I'm giving it one star, because zero isn't an option. I ordered 20 photo frames, for an art exhibition, from Cooper and Co. I would like to start by saying that they have been absolutely amazing, through the entire traumatic ordeal. As for Hunter Express. I've had delays, drivers driving past without stopping, multiple notifications saying my goods are arriving (in the wrong town), 4 of 20 frames turned up, broken boxes and smashed glass, can't locate the rest of the order, blamed the supplier, no communication unless I contact them. Eventually, Cooper and Co. sent 20 replacement frames (so I'll have an extra 3), but via Australia Post this time. I'm pretty sure they won't be using Hunter Express as a delivery service any more. I hope this company goes out of business. They are an absolute nightmare. I'm in the early stages of my business, so not having these frames on time could have easily been a business killer.
Unreliable and Pathetic Service
My experience has mirrored many other reviews.
Whilst the tracking link works fine, the updates or lack thereof are terrible and the estimated due date has well and truly surpassed the dates provided for delivery.
My order through a popular online retailer was dispatched 22/05/2026 in 4 parcels. To date, I have only received 2 of the 4 parcels and the 2 that were delivered somehow rendered the entire shipment as "Delivered" as how I understood the tracking. The remaining 2 parcels seem to be stuck in Brisbane and each time I have checked the tracking it states "Processing at Facility". How many times can they be scanned at Brisbane, I don't know.
I have reached out to Hunter Express via their online form on their website and have not received a response and I suspect I will not receive one even if I wait 7 business days. I have then gone to the retailer who initially told me they have been delivered to which I stated that they most certainly have not been delivered - only 2 of the 4 have. They are supposedly following up with Hunter Express.
It has now been over a month and we are heading into July and I still do not appear to be any closer to receiving the rest of my order or a resolution for that matter. From prior experience, it does not take over a month to ship goods to south west Queensland.
I can't understand how these companies are using this place when clearly there is a lot of bad reviews and experiences.
Long and changing delivery windows
4-5 day delivery window, which is rediculous. And also shifting delivery window with no explaination. FANTASTIC FURNITURE use Hunter Express to deliver, so I'd recommend you don't use either of these companies. Not good service at all!!

Poor service
Package delivered outside house. Driver did not ring doorbell so we had no idea it was there. No email or sms notification saying it had been delivered. No way to complain on their website.

Utterly disappointed with my recent “delivery “ firstly I paid 60$!!!!!!!!!! Then it was late, I sent an enquiry only to get no response, to then have notifications with options to track my parcel, to watch it drive around the small town I live in, all day!!..for it to still not be delivered.?! I try calling you on the 2 different numbers available, for them both to hang up on me, multiple times.
Thankfully I’m not completely stupid and worked out a way to track who had my parcel, called them and they said “sorry.. they must have ran out of time…” I live in a very small fkn town & with the reputation these 2 companies combined, I highly doubt they’d be busy at all, let alone “running out of time”
Being a Friday afternoon & for the person answering the phone not say anything other than “ran out of time (yesterday!)” I asked if I could come & pick it up myself as I wasn’t waiting the whole weekend for the same crap the following week! Found the address, walked in to find a man trying to say he doesn’t know where it could be…. There was at least 20 other parcels laying around on the ground, on top of my parcel, on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON.. we found my parcel underneath another undelivered parcel for some other poor person, as I was not leaving without it.
All I could think was “oh wow, look at all these other packages that they “ran out of time” to deliver before they shut shop for the weekend!!!!!!”
We all have jobs to do… you guys should all give up. Disgusting.

Absolutely appalling service from Hunter Express.
After weeks of waiting for my delivery and receiving no meaningful updates, I finally managed to contact Hunter Express directly. I was then informed that they do not deliver to my area.
What I cannot understand is why Hunter Express accepted the consignment in the first place if they had no intention or ability to deliver it. When I asked this question, no one could provide an explanation.
The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service has been disgraceful. Customers should not have to spend their time chasing a courier company for answers, only to be told that delivery was never possible from the outset.
If Hunter Express cannot deliver to certain areas, they should not accept consignments destined for those locations. Taking on freight that you know you cannot deliver is misleading, unprofessional, and causes unnecessary inconvenience and frustration for customers.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Hunter Express to anyone. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing delivery experiences I have encountered!!

Hunter Express Horror
Extremely poor service from Hunter Express.
Delivery practices are concerning, with drivers entering private premises without permission. Scheduled deliveries are not adhered to, causing unnecessary disruption.
There is no clear way to lodge feedback through their website and attempts to contact customer service were met without resolution, when the question for entry into the secure building was raised, they suddenly turn it around & hang up.
Overall, this service lacks professionalism and accountability. Companies should seriously reconsider using this provider & be affiliated with such a negative brand.

Worst delivery company I have ever dealt with . Received an email not from them from the place I purchased my item from to say my parcel had been delivered 4 days earlier. I was home all day no one delivered anything. I rang the company was told they don’t deliver to my area so they had left my parcel at a business 30 kms away received nothing from them to say that my parcel was there asked to speak to a supervisor was told I can’t they told me that they handed parcel off to another courier company to deliver . I Told them they shouldn’t accept a parcel for delivery if they don’t deliver to my area. The woman i spoke to from hunter was rude and not helpful at all. I hope they go out of business for treating their customers in this way .

Absolutely terrible experience with Hunter Express.
My parcel has been stuck in “Processing at Facility” in Brisbane for nearly 2 weeks with repeated daily scans and zero actual movement. It just loops between “Processing” and “Depot In” every business day.
This was meant to be a 3–6 business day delivery to Toowoomba — which is literally only a couple of hours from Brisbane.
Tracking has also gone down multiple times with server errors, making the whole experience even more frustrating.
The sender has been helpful, but Hunter Express has been unbelievably slow and disorganised. I would never trust them again for anything remotely time-sensitive.
Minus 5 thousand stars.
Another review where I wish I could give less than 1 star. Probably more like -5 thousand stars. What trash this company is. Wish I’d known when I bought the item they were in business with a company that cannot run itself properly. Still waiting a week later after being told the item was on the truck and would be there within the hour. No truck, no item and a week later absolutely nothing from them regarding it. Wish companies like this weren’t allowed to stay in business.

I have used Hunter Express twice now through different companies and both deliveries arrived safely and in great condition. My bed came in two packages and everything was well handled.
I was a bit surprised by a Saturday delivery and was lucky to be home, but overall another smooth experience and I am happy with the service.

The worst delivery company I have ever dealt with. Arranged delivery, then cancelled, Sent email confirmation of loaded on truck, gave delivery notification, i waited 5 hours on a day specified as not open, then cancelled. Rang to question them, was abused, then cancelled the contract and returned item to sender through pure spite. Don't bother with them, complete ly unprofessional and rude.
AVOID
Too lazy to ring the doorbell, didn't call me. Tracking claims they left a card which they didn't. Soonest redelivery is in 2 days. No way to call the driver or company. WORST courier in Australia.
Left a 55 kg box outside blocking the door
My mattress turned up 7 days late, the box is a mess, and they left it outside my building blocking the door to the lobby, and even went so far as to say I had given them authority to leave it there, which I most certainly didn’t do. I’m home and they didn’t even ring the bell. It’s a 55kg box and it’s blocking the entry / exit to the building. Then of course there is no way to contact them. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I’m unlikely to ever order anything again that would be delivered by these people.
