The people were the highlight of my time in South Africa, but the practical and professional experience I gained was second to none. The camp is well maintained and our schedule is consistently known. Camp managers are always there for you when you need them. It is wicked fun too! You will have amazing wildlife encounters that you'll never forget.

This was such an incredible experience! Intern Abroad HQ allowed me to experience what my field of interest would be like as a profession, and gave me a multitude of important skills along the way! I am more confident in my leadership capabilities, have a clearer plan for the future, and have new connections in my desired career field. Truly an amazing company!

At the beginning of my remote internship in Tanzania, I was extremely nervous. I worried that I wouldn’t understand their accents and feared that the time zone differences would make it difficult to connect with the team. I wasn’t sure how I would manage everything from afar.

However, the internship turned out to be smooth and incredibly enjoyable. I learned so much from my mentor, who patiently taught me essential skills such as creating a business proposal and assessing which businesses are worth investing in. Their guidance not only improved my professional abilities but also inspired me personally.

What made this experience even more meaningful was my mentor’s kindness—they even agreed to be my recommender for university applications. This internship left me with unforgettable memories and valuable lessons.

My internship experience in Seville, made possible thanks to Intern Abroad HQ, was truly wonderful. This city is exactly the kind of place I will always be happy to return to — a place filled with sunshine, warmth, friendly Sevillians, and a peaceful organic farm with a newly created vegetable garden built together, as well as the acacia tree I planted myself, which I hope will grow into something truly magnificent.

This company helped me find exactly the right farm where I could deepen my practical experience in the field of agronomy. Throughout the entire journey, my managers Veronika and Belén were always by my side, responding quickly to all my questions and helping ensure that everything developed smoothly, step by step, and in the right direction. I never once felt alone or confused, because I always knew they were ready to help me whenever I needed support. I am extremely grateful!

This internship gave me real world experience professionally as well as the chance to learn how to thrive in an unfamiliar environment. I had an IT & Software Development internship in Thessaloniki and my placement supervisor as well as my local coordinators were very accommodating. I enjoyed exploring Greece the most and learning about the culture through the people I met.

My internship in Greece was a truly refreshing time. I met many new people, discovered a lot about myself, and gathered valuable experiences. The overall atmosphere was positive, and the support from the team made me feel welcome from the first day.

Although I enjoyed the experience, I would have appreciated a stronger focus on practical work. My tasks were mostly theoretical, and more hands-on activities would have made the internship even more enriching.

I had a great time and learnt a lot. It is such a great initiative gathering people from all walks of life to share culture and diversity, while still bringing hope to people - especially through healthcare. I had great support from my Program Manager Ms Sarah, especially with coordination and guidance. My accommodation was great and comfortable. The best part is I have made lifelong friends from all over the world.

I completed an internship in Rabat with Intern Abroad HQ and the experience has been very positive. The organization provided clear information before departure, responded promptly to questions, and ensured that all logistics were well coordinated. The placement at Fondation Jossour – Forum des Femmes Marocaines offered meaningful tasks and an environment where it was possible to learn, observe, and contribute. The remote Introduction to Counseling Skills internship (hosted out of India) was much more comfortable than I thought as I can start my day whenever I'd like - this helps it feel less school-like with attendance. It's all about getting your tasks in, which I prefer to have my own schedule every week. I love seeing the different counseling techniques and alternative therapies used within counseling to help clients. Another thing I will highlight is the research requirement through all my case reports, I find it rewarding to find myself a topic to research on and write about in my case reports

I had a great time getting to know all the people at Archipelagos and felt like I really learned a lot. The crew was amazing, and the environment on Samos is lovely. Truly a summer well spent!

I completed a journalism internship in Rabat, Morocco over the summer, and it was a truly rewarding experience. I gained valuable skills and insights from the placement, and the support I received throughout was excellent. I can feel the devotion that they have for the things that they do. It was an incredibly pleasant experience working with my coordinator and fellow intern. The team flexed around my timezone without hesitation. Whenever I had a question, the support was clear and helpful. Their positive attitude was contagious and truly inspired me to give my best for the same cost.

I loved my experience in Cape Town. Intern Abroad HQ never made me feel uncertain about what I could expect and I know there was always someone I could reach out to with any questions/ if anything came up. This doesn't only include the time pre-departure, but also in country, as well as afterwards. I always felt like I was prepared well and had everything I needed to have the best experience. The local team was also great and really helped Everyone to feel comfortable and supported. I would recommend Intern Abroad HQ/ Masambeni over and over again for this incredible opportunity that definitely changed my perspective on the world, be more informed and understanding of other people, their culture as well as their history. Anyone interested in a program like this should definitely be open-minded. Inform yourself about the place you're wanting to experience beforehand and know that there will be challenges, but none that you cannot overcome. There's a lot of support available and a good common sense will already serve you so well!

I worked at a legal internship in NYC and it was the most amazing time. I stayed in a studio apartment by myself in West Harlem in a very homey neighborhood, and was even allowed to bring my emotional support cat! Marc was incredibly helpful in organizing everything for me and finding me an internship and housing they were perfect. The internship itself was amazing! It was exactly what I was hoping for! I got real experience working directly with an attorney and was able to do work on meaningful projects that affected individual’s lives. Could not recommend enough!

It was very educational. I learned the relevant concepts to international law and climate change in depth before I helped out my coordinator with his project, which was very beneficial since I had a deep understanding. Overall it was a great experience that will help me greatly moving forward.

They were very organized and so helpful! I felt very safe the entire time and was accommodated for all my needs on my first solo travel!
