Gedling Park View

Our experience with Keep Moat at Gedling Park View has been incredible. We’re living right next to where new houses are still being built and all the builders are lovely and friendly, nothing is too much an ask for them. Special shout out to site Manager Harry and Builder Phil, both have been lovely and have helped out with queries we’ve had here and there, always going above and beyond.

The only thing I would say is with the sales team, staff kept changing when we were first looking. We never seemed to speak with the same colleague. So they could for future sales, have a designated person who deals with each individual sale. But, that said, every person we dealt with was lovely and helpful.

We’ve only had a handful of snags which have been tended to within good time without any qualms. Our house is beautiful, neither of us have a single regret about buying here.

Stair repairs

Simon, as usual, came over exactly when he said and fixed our issue in no time. He was repairing our stair beading after the walls had settled and caused some cracks, and did so without any fuss with perfect results. Thank you!

Top class service from Pauline!

Pauline the sales manager is excellent and teats us like a member of her own family. She's honest and knowledgeable. Pauline definitely due a bonus if you're looking keepmoat ;)

House was in good condition with everything working minus a couple of small issues which was picked up and fixed quickly.

James arrived on time and carried out three repairs to a high standard 👏 He also took note of 2 long term outstanding and reported them to Keepmoat in the hope that they will be actioned when the weather permits.. James is always very polite and professional and carries out the work in a professional manner... The same cannot be said all the time for Keepmoat!!!

0 stars!
You are poor. We’ve had a leaking roof for months now that we raised with NHBC. A report has been completed which evidences the leaks are due to poor workmanship! NHBC recommended Keepmoat to do the repairs which they’ve declined despite the leak being caused by POOR workmanship! If they won’t touch their own poor workmanship then what other trader would? Left us with a leaking roof for months. Absolutely shocking. Build your houses correctly in the first place and people wouldn’t be left with the consequences of your actions!

Still waiting for road resurfacing

We moved in over 2 years ago, and after false promises and missed deadlines, we’re still waiting for the final road re-surfacing. It took them almost three weeks to add a courtesy ramp of tarmac to allow us to get on and off our driveway. The works were planned for the last week of November 2025. We’re now on the 20th January 2026, our section of the road has been left unfinished with no planned date of completion. When chased yesterday, we were flippantly told end of February, or maybe March - subject to change. Basically, as and when the site manager fancies. They’re completely not bothered once they have your money and show no regard to the state they leave the estate, nor the fact that your cars are becoming damaged through their lazy approach. I won’t be buying from Keepmoat again, they’re not worth my time or money.

Good aftercare

James arrived on time. He sorted out the problem with the living room door handle and assessed the problem with the bathrooms' extractor fans. He took pictures and listened to our concerns and said he would submit a report. He was a very pleasant young man.

Nicola, customer care, followed up on the visit a few days later and will chase up outstanding issues.

We purchased a house from Keepmoat at Sept/24 and the streetlight directly in front of the house NEVER worked!

We purchased a house from Keepmoat at Canterbury Park in Liverpool. The purchase process went smoothly, and we received excellent support throughout all stages of the sale.

However, there is a streetlight directly in front of our house that has never worked. We received the keys to our property at the end of Sept/2024, and since the handover date, the lamp in front of our house has not been functioning at any point.

We have sent several emails and messages to Keepmoat regarding this issue, but without success. A third-party maintenance team that operates on site on behalf of Keepmoat informed me that, according to their records, the streetlight is marked as fully operational. Despite this, even after I provided photos showing that the front of my house is completely dark at night, the issue was ignored and no action was taken.

As a result, the front of our house remains completely unlit. While walking around the area, I also noticed that, out of all the streetlights in Canterbury Park, the one located in front of our house is the only one that is not working.

Update: 20/02/2026 - It has now been one month since Keepmoat’s response in 20/01/2026, and no action has been taken. The streetlight remains non-functional, and no one has attended the property to inspect or repair the lamp.
